Gurda and The Demon Realm
I'm not exactly the perfect daughter in a family of 3 boys. I'm also not the perfect youngest sibling, and believe me, it's rare not to have a perfect spawn in the demon realm. A perfect demon kid pretty much has the following traits: Blood lust, dark humor, hate for humans and so on. Apparently, I don't exactly meet these criteria.
I was born into one of the top five most powerful families of demons in the demon realm. My father a pure and universal level demon spell caster, my mother, a planet pandemic necromancer. Me and my three siblings were pretty much royalty in the realm's eyes with me being the runt of the litter. Not in power or capabilities but in character and social standing.
It's two days before my 13th birthday. I get out of my meditation circle, a little dazed. Yeah, spell casters and necromancers don't sleep. They meditate to keep their souls in check. Spell casters and necromancers souls tend to travel out their body from time to time. If one isn't careful to meditate twice a day their body could suddenly fall into a deathlike sleep for up to a week.
I take a bath, dry my hair and wear my Franium earrings. I put on a black shirt, dark green tights and a jacket that was given to me as an early 15th birthday gift from my great grandfather. Well it was a watch but I wanted it to be a jacket. The artifact changes into whatever you want want it to be
I put on navy blue high heel boots, patted my pet Inugami, Mawtha, and went down stairs to join my "loving" family for breakfast. Mawtha is the name I picked for her. She seemed to respond to it so that's what I gave her. Inugamies are rare in the since they're rare in sitra achra
I come downstairs to see my family all at the A'a dinner table. It was about 8 feet long and 41 feet wide. My parents sat apart on the width side of the table while my other two older brothers say at the same side. I sat down opposite them. I looked to my left and realized my direct older brother didn't come for breakfast.
"Cephas isn't joining us" I asked, putting the spoon in my mouth. "Took his food to his room" My mother politely answered. "I was hoping you'd be an early bloomer like your brothers" my father suddenly said to me. I swear the look on his face was "*why are you a disappointment at times*"
"Your brothers unlocked their spells 5 days before they turned 13."
"C'mon dad. Cut her some slack. Early blooming doesn't work for disappointments." My oldest brother, urbā said. A belittling smile on his face that always pissed me off. He had no eyes in his socket but could see even better than anyone else in the family. His skin was oxblood with multiple black crack like markings all over his body. He had two layers of razor sharp teeth and wore a royal blue singlet.
"At least I don't still bed wet myself"
"Gei asimti ya winch!".
"In-tab-heh ee-laa lu-ghat-ek" My parents screamed at the same time. Usually when my family gets mad they immediately start speaking in Arabic. I quickly get up and leave the dinner table. No one notices me leaving since they're immersed in trying to win an argument. As I go upstairs to the corridor I can still hear their yells. "Their heads are probably twice their original size by now" I thought.
"This is why I avoid eating with the family" A familiar voice says above me. I look up to see my brother, Cephas, feet on the roof, upside down with his wings out, a cocky yet warm smile on his face
