chapter 1

˹Remember˺

when your Lord said,

to the angels, “I am going to place a successive ˹human˺ ;

authority on earth.”

They asked ˹Allah˺,

“Will You place in it ,

someone who will spread;

corruption

there and shed blood,

while we glorify Your praises ,

and proclaim Your holiness?”

Allah responded,

“I know

what you do not know.”

(Al-Baqarah)

In the depths of an afternoon the vast sun rose above the sky shinning with all the might and bright, whereas her...she was sitting under a big plum tree. The branches of that tree were vast and wide, the leaves shaded the sunlight on the grass behind, while she was reading the Qur'an with deep mind, and light.... like she wasn't here to enjoy the scenery and peace of that beautiful landscape of the (Subcontinent) India, but rather she was there to utmost the surprise hidden in the depths of nature and knowledge.The birds were chirping, the wind was weeping...the scene was a peaceful one, yet about her, she was as irritated. She closed the Qur'an and held it at tightly against her chest, closing her eyes the atmosphere around her turned dark. She inhaled the irritated aura and blurred everything out of herself.

" I don't understand Allah g... I mean what should I do now?...please do something, can't you do everything?....O Allah every time I think that why should we read the Qur'an...?.. I mean isn't it something we should understand, reading something doesn't develop understanding. But our parents told us to read it to gain good deeds but o Allah I think that ..... Is gaining good deeds that easy?"

She hesitatetly looked up the sky and closed her eyes again maybe she could find some peace but the peace she prolonged was unable to be found. Her heart deepened with that desire along her. She hoped she was understood and she longed she could understand too...but the irrated mind was unabling her focus on the heart and soul. Isn't the all she wanted was a peaceful heart but what was this war in the mind. Was her soul shrinking or she wasn't feeling anything, has she lost her consciousness?....so confusing mind...she hated herself for being like this...

At a sudden sound, she suddenly opened her eyes and looked around, Where did that sound even came from? She got up and looked around again the sound came from somewhere nearby.She turned east when she heard the voice again. She looked around again when her gaze suddenly caught a glimpse of a scene.She felt her heart beat faster, a wave of fear sent shivers through her body. She didn't want to get involved in any such war, but her conscience forced her to return there. She gathered her courage and took out a bow and arrows from the bag she had on her horse, and then she slowly and quickly hid in the nearby bushes.Now the view in front was clear, absolutely clear.
