Chapter 2 - Unexpected trip to Decresa

[ Trip to Decresa ]

At first, when they left for Decresa, all things remains the same. Suddenly, the carriage stopped. Lilian was wondering what was it, so she opened the curtains and was terrified. She saw bloods everywhere and the horse man's head was not with his body. She hugged Aria because both of them were affraid. One of the assassins opened the carriage's door and pull Lilian out. Aria shouted loudly. Thank god someone heard it. He killed the assassins with his comrades. Lilian was injured and nothing happened to Aria. The boy that save her asked her

" Where are you going, lady?"

Without hestitation, Aria answered

"I am going to the imperial palace of Decresa. My father instructed me to go there to join the sword training"

He answered

"I see...then shall we?"

The little princess followed him to the imperial palace.

[ The arrival ]

" PRINCESS ARIA VIELTA ELEANORA OF LEVIATA HAS ARRIVED WITH THE SECOND PRINCE "

Aria look at the boy that saved her. At first glance, she thinks that the boys is a knight, but he's actually the second prince of Decresa!

*entered the grand hall*

"With order from my father, the Emperor of the Empire Leviata, Ronald Gillian, I Aria Vielta Eleanora De Leviata, am going to practice swords fighting and tighten our relationship starting today"

Although she's just 4 years old, she manage to make a formal speech better than the elders.

"Your Majesty! We have a report saying that Princess Aria were attacked by assassins in our teritory!"

The hall was full of mumors from the nobles. The King of Decresa, Joseph Roldan, ordered the knights to investigate more about this. He also sent letters to the Emperor saying that her daughter was attacked. After the issue was settled, all of the nobles went back to their own teritory.

[ Next Day ]

Aria was called upon to see the King. When she arrived in front of the King's room, one of the knight that guard the door let her in. She sat in front of him. Joseph later then said,

"She just look like you, Allyane"

Aria was wondering, how can he know her mother? Do they know each other? What is their relationship?

"You must wonder why i said that, right Aria?"

said Joseph. Aria answered

"Yes"

Joseph smiled, then he tell her all about her mother.

"Your mother and I were best friends since we're little. She was really kind, she also once saved me from danger. Since that, I was in love with her. But suddenly the Empire of Leviata announced that she'll marry a person from the dukedom and took the throne to be the empress. Since then, both of us never see each other again. Now, a person that is really the same as her is in front of me. It's a miracle."

Joseph said it in a melancholy tone.

"Allyane had done many things for me, now it's time for me to repay it, i'll send you to the best sword master"

said Joseph, he was serious. Aria agreed to his proposal.
