i turn another page there i read

Hello diary today december 16. jonah and i were playing in garden when i got trapped on a branch and fall. jonah come to help me but that time mom come and saw us but she shoved jonah away from me and slap him. she saw my crying face and got more angry.

mom shout at him and slap him until his face become dark red. i stop mom but she got more angry and said to him that he is a homewraker's son and now he is hurting me knowingly. he kept his head down all the time not looking at mom. but i know he was hurt he was feeling sad. that day mom kept him outside whole night in his knees. mom didn't give him dinner too. it was cold season and at night it get more worse. he obeyed mom. and at morning he was freezing. but again mom didn't show any emotion and didn't took him to hospital.i was sad thinking this is all my fault.

"Jonah suffered a lot when he was kid. And maybe that's why he is hurting Lucas and Ivan. But this doesn't justify what he did was right. He is still wrong."

I was about to read more when I notice the clock it was already showing 6 pm. I put the diary where it was before and went outside and lock the door.

I went to kitchen to cook dinner. While I was cutting vegetables I feel two small creatures are looking at me from behind. I turn back to see Lucas and Ivan both are up now, and they were looking at me with their innocent eyes.

I asked "what happen?? Is it hurting??"

Lucas and Ivan both shake head

"Mama can we help you??"

I chuckle at Lucas"baby it's my work you shouldn't be here. You go and sit in living room. After cooking, I will call you".

Ivan "but we want to help you." he said in sign language

I give them the carrot I was cutting "here eat this. And now go and sit there ok. And don't you have to study??"

Lucas and Ivan both look at me "but mama it is our holiday we have 15 days vacation"

I nodded in understanding.

"then you both want to play games?"

Lucas "will you play with us?"

"Sure. Only when I finish cooking".

Lucas and Ivan went and sit in living room. " We will sit here mama. Finish cooking fast."

Soon enough I finish cooking and after that I went to them and sit beside them.

"so which game do you want to play"

Lucas"mama hide and seek "

Ivan"no drawing game"

Both were deciding which game they should play and here I was admiring them. They are so good and well behave.

"Ok let's play drawing. Tomorrow we will play hide and seek Ok??"

Lucas and Ivan both agree and Ivan bring white paper and colors

"What should we draw?"

Lucas "we will draw different things then see whose drawing is good"

Ivan and I agreed and now we start drawing. After few minutes Lucas was done and then Ivan. And here I was drawing them.

I am very good at drawing because it was my hobby and I used to draw a lot.

First Lucas he drew a beautiful dragon. Ivan draws a unicorn. Then I showed them my drawing. They were looking very shocked and happy.

Lucas and Ivan both hugged me suddenly. I don't know, but I was feeling really warm in their hug. Like they are my family.

Lucas and Ivan "thank you mama we love it"

When we were spending our quality time. Suddenly main door open and there he was Vincent. He was looking tired. He loses his tie and put files on side table.

Lucas and Ivan both run toward him and hug him. He instantly carries them in arm and a soft smile appear on his face.

Vincent "did you miss me?"

Both"yes Dada"

Vincent looked at me. I stand up and Welcome him. "Welcome home. How are you?"

Vincent "good. I will be back after fresh up."

He put Lucas and Ivan down And went to room. That room was not the one in which I woke up in morning.That was another room besides Noah's room.

I put the dishes in dinning table. "Lucas Ivan both wash your hands and sit now"

I was serving food to Lucas and Ivan when Vincent also come and sit. I served him too.

Vincent "are you not going to eat with us?"

"I will eat later you all eat first"

Vincent "you always say same. Now sit and eat with us."

I didn't argue I also ate with them.
