"I told you to break up with her!" Matilda flung her arms in a frustrated manner. "I am a single mom, Jason, a single mom. Do you know how hard it is to do this shit? I have raised you to this fine age of seventeen, I can not lose my son to a deranged teen who thinks she's all that."
"Mom." Jason called, calmly.
"What!?" Matilda responded, turning to face him with red cheeks and crossed eyes.
"The eggs are burning." He said, stifling a laugh.
"Oh, shit." She raced to the pan on the stove, in a frantic effort to save the burning eggs but it was too late.
"Fuuuccckkkk!" She yelled, exasperatingly. "That's it, I need a drink. Microwave some pancakes or something." With that she grabbed a Hennessy bottle from one of the cupboards and a glass cup, then made her way upstairs to her bedroom.
Jason chuckled a bit. He found her reaction a bit amusing. She wasn't overreacting at all, he had come home with a smashed driver's seat window yesterday. Janet had grabbed a stone off the road and smashed his window. For a second, his eyes turned to a deep blue and a violent growl boomed from his chest but he quickly controlled himself; he had never hit a woman and even if he wanted to start, he would never start with the girl he loved. For some odd reason, she was doing all that in front of the police station and no officer noticed and none stepped out for about ten minutes while she did this before he finally drove off.
Jason grabbed his keys and yelled, "I'm going to get my car fixed. I'll be back!" He stood for a brief moment, awaiting his mom's response.
"Break up with the bitch!"
He snickered then walked out the door, nearly traumatizing the old lady who was watering her lawn next door, when she saw him backing out of the driveway. She stopped watering and stared dead blank at the broken window. Jason just offered an awkwardly stiff smile before driving off.

"You should brush your hair more often, Doe." He whispered with his deep morning voice into Mia's ear. His voice coupled with the cold droplets of water that tickled her body from the shower she just had, a moan nearly escaped her lips.
"I'm going to be late for class, Adrien , I don't have the time to do that." Still not turning to look at him, she reached for her pants when all of a sudden it felt like she was floating. Adrien had lifted her and propped her gently on the seat, making her face the three large dressing mirrors. He did so effortlessly like she was more like feather weight.
"Adriennnn." She whined.
Not responding, he reached for one of the drawers and pulled out a brush. He grabbed a section, about to brush it when Mia held his hand, stopping him. His eyebrows creased in confusion.
"I can do it myself, Adrien . You don't have to do that, don't you have work to do?"
Adrien leaned down, his lips gently brushing against her ear, maintaining eye contact with her through the mirror, he gently whispered, "Doe, call me Daddy instead."
Mia's breathing hitched and he smirked, seeing the effect he had on her. That seemed to shut her up so he proceeded to brushing her hair, taking his time with each stroke. He had bought this mirror for her, for the nights she would come to visit or whenever she came over. He had no use for any mirrors himself but, he needed to make sure she could dress herself well before leaving. Not like she bothered anyways to always check her appearance.
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Adrien said.
His assistant came in, looking only at his boss when he got into the room. He did not make the mistake of even glancing at Mia.
"We have a problem, sir."
"What is it?" He responded, his focus still on Mia's hair and he didn't stop brushing.
"One of our men was found dead, right in front of one of our locations."
"Which one?" He continued brushing the hair, no expression on his face and no physical reaction to the news.
"The one close to Eastwood forest."
"And the body?"
"You might…you might not want the details right now."
For the first time, Adrien looked up to observe his assistant. Carefully eyeing him over without making a sound. His assistant was smarter than this or supposed to be smarter. The silence stretched, making Mia a bit uneasy. Until the silence finally broke.
"Are you trying to imply that my woman can't handle the details?" He cocked his head to the side. Body tense and ready, perhaps in wait for a wrong answer.
"Not at all, sir."
"Then speak." He went back to his previous activity. Brushing and kneading with every section he touched.
"His body was evident with torture. It could be said his tongue was pulled out before he even died. His penis was castrated and laid right beside him, alongside his tongue. His hands were broken and bent the wrong way. His legs as well."
"Why his penis though? That seems quite personal."
"You killed their boss...it is personal."
Adrien chuckled. It was not funny and he never chuckled. Ever. A means to just ensure he kept calm.
"So those bitches came to my land and killed my man in cold blood. I'm going to feed them their dicks while they watch."
His assistant slightly nodded his head before exiting the room.

Jason weirdly smiled at the man again. Every time the window repair man glanced at him, he threw a smile—weird or not. He understood why the guy kept on looking at him. A teenage kid, who looked all buff, drove into his garage with a shattered window, only thought—gang member. To be honest, he couldn't blame the guy, he looked quite big for his age, with all the muscle. The moment he became a werewolf it seemed like he was on steroids. He lifted heavier weights, had more endurance and got swole pretty quickly. Now he just looked more…intimidating.
"You seem like trouble, kid." He finally broke the ice. He had an undertone of a Southern accent under his deep, thick voice.
"I am not, I promise you." Jason chuckled. "It's just girlfriend problems."
The man gave him a look that said he was crazy.
"Ain't you too young to be having them girl issues. If she doing this to your car now, next thing,” he tapped his head with his index finger twice, “it'll be your head."
It got eerily quiet again and no one said a word, he just got back to work.
Jason just couldn't leave her, he didn't know why but he knew he loved her and she loved him too. So he would endure her crazy until she eventually stops.
When his car was fixed, it was already late. The car would have been done earlier but he had decided to repaint the car as well, just a nice little makeover. He drove over to Adrien's place, hoping to meet him at home.
"Mr. Stonehart is not at home right now." The assistant stated sternly as he walked in.
Jason hated the assistant, hated seeing him too but it was too bad that he coul not shred him to pieces. The guy was always on a black suit, hair slicked back Italian style. A small dagger tattoo under his left eye, a mustache and a goatee pair, tattoos covering his hands, and a five foot and eleven inches stance.
Jason felt the ego and belittlement any time he came around him. The assistant held him in little regard.
Jason did not respond, he just listened for any other heartbeat in the house—there was none. The assistant was aware of what he was doing, he wasn't a werewolf but he understood their abilities and could even stand a chance at a fight against one. Which was part of the reason why Adrien made him a personal assistant, he was capable—more than capable actually.
"Where'd he go?" Jason asked, sternly. His eyes holding curtained anger and his fists clenched to his sides.
"Business he had to take care of." The assistant matched energy.
"I am his beta. I don't know who you think you are or what you think you are capable of but I can—and I will—dig through your brain to find answers and leave you to bleed to death." Jason was seething.
Not feeling threatened at all, he responded, "To get revenge."
"Where?" He seethed.
…
"That fucking assistant!" Jason slammed his hand on the steering, teeth clenched and breath heavy.
Jason did not have a single nerve in his body that liked Adrien 's assistant. And every time he saw him, the hate grew thicker.
Jason stepped on the gas. He had to hurry if he was going to help Adrien out.
He sped up to what seemed like a huge wood cabin centered by lots of trees, giving off forest-like scenery. He didn't bother to park properly before rushing out of his car. Running swiftly towards the door, as there were no signs of any men on guard, he tripped over something hard, nearly falling face first into the thicket close to the house. It was dark outside and the moon was not out but he could smell it. Feel it. The cold corpse of what seemed to be whoever Adrien was after.
Jason knew what to expect once he knew Adrien had gone off to fight without his assistant. Bodies.
Scrambling from the floor, he headed cautiously around the cabin, avoiding windows and any openings. There was no sound coming from the house, which was strange. He expected chilling screams and pleas for mercy but there was nothing. Just absolute silence. Quiet enough that he could hear the night being filled with crickets’ cries, frogs hopping and mosquitoes singing.
He found a back door and without hesitating, he kicked it down.
There on the table lay Adrien, pinned down on each hand and leg by four burly men and one woman, sinewy looking, holding a knife right above his chest ready to take a plunge.
“Welcome to the party,” the sinewy woman snickered before diving the knife into his chest.
