A Sudden Surprise

Akira woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and excited. He got dressed and headed to school, eager to see Haru again.

As he walked into the classroom, he spotted Haru sitting at his desk, looking as handsome as ever. Haru caught his eye and smiled, making Akira's heart skip a beat.

But just as Akira was about to sit down, the teacher announced a surprise school event. "There's going to be a school festival next week, and we need students to sign up for different activities."

Haru turned to Akira, a mischievous glare in his eyes. "Hey, let's sign up for the talent show together."

Akira's eyes widened in surprise. "Uh, I don't know...I'm not exactly talented."

Haru chuckled. "That's okay, I'll be there to help you. We can do a duet."

Akira felt his heart melt at Haru's enthusiasm. "Okay, sure. What did you have in mind?"

Haru grinned. "I'll think of something. Just be ready to have fun."

The day went by in a blur, with Akira and Haru brainstorming ideas for their performance. Akira couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves.

As they parted ways after school, Haru leaned in and whispered, "I'll pick you up tomorrow. We'll practice our act."

Akira nodded, feeling his heart flutter. "Okay, sounds good."

Haru smiled and kissed him softly on the cheek. "See you tomorrow."

Akira watched him go, feeling happy and nervous about the upcoming performance. What would they do? Would they be good?

Akira spent the rest of the evening thinking about the talent show. He had no idea what Haru had planned, but he trusted him completely.

The next day, Haru picked Akira up from his house, and they headed to the school auditorium. "Okay, what's the plan?" Akira asked, curiosity getting the better of him.

Haru grinned mischievously. "You'll see. Trust me."

Akira's heart skipped a beat as Haru led him to the stage. They started setting up, and Akira noticed a guitar and a microphone.

"Haru, what are we doing?" Akira asked, his voice laced with excitement.

Haru smiled. "We're going to sing a duet. I've been practicing a song just for this."

Akira's eyes widened. "Really? What song?"

Haru chuckled. "You'll see. Just follow my lead."

They started practicing, and Akira was amazed at how in sync they were. Haru's voice was smooth and soulful, while Akira's was a bit shaky but sweet.

As they practiced, Akira couldn't help but feel grateful for Haru. He was making this experience unforgettable.

The day of the talent show arrived, and Akira was a bundle of nerves. Haru took his hand, "Hey, it's going to be okay. I promise."
