Chapter one : the night rang a question

Sometimes destiny shows you the worst to tell you how pain feels like

As the street emptied

Ari walked. Her face unsettled. Her hands folded she’s been feeling off lately. Her legs felt numb . She’s been finding herself in places . Where she doesn’t remember going to . The more she ignored these stuff the more often it became just fir her to realize

Suddenly a smell . She’s always smelled that . Not new just not right . She didn’t feel like smelling it . It was different . She doesn’t know if everyone could smell it but It WAS JUST DIFFERENT. Very different from other smells . She stopped . Not her but her feet

A street just beside her . Not far but dark . It was pitch black she couldn’t see anything . Her feet bolted into the street most likely an alley way . As her feet tapped the surface . One of the broken lights flickered back on. Not like she realized it .

The smell only grew stronger . The air was getting thick almost very hard to breath . Then a ringing sound in her ear . Then everything changed form confusing. Unstelling . Scared to clam. Confidence. Brave . Before she realized there was an invisible katana in her hand

Then a unshaped creature was up from the ground . It looked very human . But a twisted one . It’s hand brushed against her wrist. Then her…..her….hand fell flat on the floor . Pain screamed from her veins she fell to the ground . Holding her half arm

As the creature was floating towards her . It stopped as if something happened. Like someone was talking to it . The creature stepped back and drowned back to the ground

The ringing sound it came again and . She opened her eyes and muttered to herself “ why am I here ! “ she said that looking around. And her arm ached like hell . But her wrist….it was perfectly fine. She stood on her feet staring at the wall

Rei was walking on the footpath hands in his pocket . Relaxed but alert . And the smell came again. He stopped at the same exact place that street just beside him . Dark he stepped inside . His eyes spotted on a familiar girl from a distance. She looked familiar. He walked closer and closer . And it looked like Ari .

He stepped forward to her . And shook her . Ari turned her head . Even though she knew who he was .she walked past him as if he didn’t exist and started walking. Only one thing that’s lurking in her mind . Is that “HOW DID I GET TO THIS THING “. These things are just getting more and more often.

And are only weird . Rei was walking behind me from a distance. And I hated the fact that he wasn’t leaving . I had got enough. I turned back and glared at him

Rei didn’t hesitate he walked over to her and walked beside her. She ignored him she’s got more than this to think about . Finally after she layed her feet on the doorstep. And waited for him to leave she did t want him here anymore

Reis voice broke “ look! I just wanna talk…….” . She just left and slammed the door behind her . Is she still mad at me for that I don’t understand? Why is she so stubborn . All I wanted was to talk to her

Ari sat against the door kneels pulled to her chest . Her eyes red . Tears falling down he left me when everyone did . Now he just came here to meet my dad not me . It’s been 3 years not 3 months I know the pain

Ari fell on the bed . Felling this unease her dad diago . She slept with the same felling

Rei was also on the bed staring at the ceiling thinking . Suddenly something came into his mind . All of the sudden he slept with the felling . It was weird but he didn’t let that get his mind . Like something’s wrong with diago but he just talked to him before walking so he slept .

He woke up the morning to find 52 missed calls from Ari she didn’t know why . He woke up put his jacket on and sped over to Ari . His instincts kicking in he tried to not get it to his mind . He reached there . People buzzing around there . He suddenly knew something . His feet barely making a step he can’t walk . At a moment he almost fell . And sei catched him “ bro ! You good “

“ where’s …….di,,,,,,,,…diago “ I said looking up at him . And praying to god to not hear what I was thinking

Sei lifted me up and put his hands on his hip rolled his eyes and said “ look you need to clam down first “

“ just tell me where he is “ ? I glared at him annoyed. “ fine “ he said “ diago , he died okay “

“Are you serious “ your so cool man . Somehow I gathered my breath and stood at the doorstep to find Ari sitting at the corner . Motionless. Not a tear from her eye . That’s the only thing that made him serious . Sei layed his hand on my shoulder and said “ yes ! You guessed it right ITS THEM

My blood ran cold ! My guess was right . I walked towards her . Sat beside her for a moment he thought hands can talk better than words . He layed his hands in her wrist and said “ hey I know it’s hard , and I understand that I did leave you alone and I wasn’t there for you but………now I promise I’ll be there for you “

She turned her head towards him and said “ My father he . Tried to talk to you . Last night “

“ He did “ my thoughts ran down HOW DID SHE KNOW. I stood up and said soft “ I have to leave , sei called me he needs me , you stay safe okay “ . I sprinted to sei in the porch . He stood there scrolling his phone .

“ Hey , asshole . Where’s your car “ I said holding his neck . Gathering my breath

“ Chill man ! You gotta poop or what , you know there’s a feild just there . Do your business “ he says taking reis hands off his neck and mutters to himself “ his ass is strong “
