Scarlet Twins

As I perched on the tree branch, gazing at my sister Mona, I couldn't help but feel a sense of adoration.

She was, without a doubt, the most beautiful girl in school.

Her long, silky red hair cascaded down her back, framing her heart-shaped face and piercing red eyes that seemed to mesmerize everyone who looked at her.

My sister, the epitome of perfection.

I, on the other hand, was just a mere mortal, with a few features that resembled hers - red hair, red eyes, and a height that surpassed hers by two inches.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, a gruff voice interrupted me.

"Shan, get down from there!"

It was Goro, our homeroom teacher, whom I affectionately referred to as

"Gorilla"

due to his, ahem, impressive physique.

I smirked,

"Oh, Gorilla sir, hi there. What brings you here?"

Goro's face turned red with annoyance.

"It's Goro, not Gorilla, you brat!"

I chuckled,

"So, what brings you here, Goro sir?"

As Goro's face turned beet red with anger, he bellowed.

"You disrespectful brat, it's off limits, you know! Come down from there and go back to the classroom right now."

"This is a prestigious school, and you can't just go around climbing on trees as you please. Do you understand?"

I let out a derisive snort, my eyes rolling heavenward.

Huhhh, such a bothersome teacher he is.

Prestigious my foot,I muttered under my breath, my tone dripping with disdain.

This school is full of rich, arrogant students and teachers who look down on others just because they're not as fortunate.

But they can't do anything to us because they don't have the same looks, body, athletic prowess, and talents like me and my sister.

Their money is the only thing that's going for them.

I cast a sidelways glance at Mona, who was watching the scene with a mixture of amusement and annoyance.

She was used to my antics, but I knew she was getting a little tired of me causing trouble.

Goro's face turned a deeper shade of purple, his massive fists clenched at his sides.

"What did you just say? You think you're above the rules, don't you?"

he thundered, his voice echoing through the courtyard.

I shrugged nonchalantly,

"I'm just stating facts, Goro sir. Your classes are boring, and I'm not going to waste my time sitting in a stuffy classroom when I can be outside, enjoying the fresh air and looking at my sister."

Mona's eyes narrowed, and she shook her head slightly, warning me not to push my luck.

But I couldn't help it; I loved getting under Goro's skin.

Goro took a menacing step forward, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Come down here, and I'll show you what's boring. I'll make sure you never forget this lesson."

I flashed him a cheeky grin,

"Gorilla sir, no thanks. I'm good up here. Can you go now? You're disturbing my precious time, and I'm looking at my sister."

The students started gathering at the windows, watching the commotion with rapt attention. Goro's face turned red with embarrassment, and he shouted,

"You're making a scene, you sister-loving freak!"

I laughed,

"Thanks for the compliment, Gorilla sir."

Just then, Mona intervened, her voice dripping with authority.

She looks so stunning, that i want to jump over and kiss her, then she smiled at me.

"shan, what are you doing"

As my teacher's voice pierced the air, I couldn't help but feel a sense of amusement.

My eyes were transfixed on Mona, my sister, drinking in the sight of her like a man starved.

Her long, silky red hair cascaded down her back, framing her heart-shaped face and piercing red eyes that seemed to mesmerize everyone who looked at her.

"Well, you know, right now I'm looking at my future bride who'll give me a kiss,"

I said, my voice low and husky, the words tumbling out of my mouth like a whispered secret.

Mona turned to me, a mischievous gleaming in her eyes.

"Fufu, ohh really, then come over here for a minute,"

she said, her voice dripping with amusement, like honey on a summer's day.

I grinned, my heart racing with anticipation, like a stallion eager to break free.

"With pleasure,"

I said, and jumped over to the window, landing with a soft thud, my movements fluid and effortless.

But instead of the kiss I was hoping for, Mona grabbed my ear, her grip firm but gentle, like a velvet glove.

"Now tell me seriously, what did you do this time?"

she asked, her eyes sparkling with mirth, like stars in a midnight sky.

I let out a pained yow,

"Ow, ow, owwww, sweet sis, I didn't do anything this time, really!"

I protested, trying to wiggle free, like a fish caught in a net.

Mona raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical, like a judge weighing evidence.

"Ohh, so what is this commotion all about, huh?"

she asked, her voice l laced with amusement, like a gentle breeze on a summer's day.

I sighed,

"This time, that gorilla teacher, the one standing down there, started it."

"I was enjoying my sweet time looking at you, I swear, so let go of my ear, pretty please,"

I said, my voice dripping with sincerity, like a summer rain.

Mona released my ear, and I breathed a sigh of relief, like a man reprieved from execution. She looked away, her face a mask of calm, but I knew her too well.

I knew that she was secretly amused, and that my words had affected her in ways she didn't want to admit.

Why do my heart starts pounding when Shan Say's those things to me, she thought to herself, her heart racing with a mix of emotions, like a tempest on a stormy sea.

I grinned, knowing I had gotten under her skin, like a splinter that couldn't be removed.

"Sweet sis,"

I said, my voice low and husky, trying to get a reaction out of her, like a child trying to get a treat from a parent.

She shook her head, trying to hide her smile, but I knew I had won this round, like a victor standing on the battlefield.

As I grasped her cheeks with my hands, pulling her close, our foreheads touched, and I felt a jolt of electricity run through my veins.

"Believe me, I was only here to look at you, nothing more."

"I didn't cause any trouble this time, I swear, okay?"

I said, my voice low and sincere, the words pouring out of my heart like a confession.

She flicked my forehead, a gentle reprimand, her eyes sparkling with mirth.

"Well, of course, I believe you. But sometimes it's hard to take you seriously when you're so naughty all the time, you know?"

she said, her voice dripping with amusement, like honey infused with moonlight.

I grinned, unrepentant, my heart still racing from our proximity.

"Hehe, I can't help it when I'm around you, you know how,"

I said, my voice husky, my eyes locked on hers, searching for a reaction.

She shook her head, a smile playing on her lips, like a summer breeze rustling the leaves.

"What am I going to do with you, you naughty boy?"

she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, sending shivers down my spine.

She turned her face to Goro, her expression serious, like a mask hiding her true emotions.

"Gorilla... I mean, Goro sir,"

she said, her voice firm, commanding attention.

I burst out laughing at her correction, the sound echoing through the courtyard like a thunderclap.

"Pfffffttt, hahahahaha, nice one sis! Hahahaha!"

I exclaimed, my stomach hurting from laughing so hard.

She glared at me, her eyes flashing with mock anger, like a summer storm brewing on the horizon.

"Hey, stop laughing, you insolent brat!"

she said, her voice stern, but I knew she was secretly amused.

I couldn't help it; my stomach hurt from laughing so hard, tears streaming down my face.

"Hahahaha, I can't, my stomach hurts, hahahaha!"

I said, gasping for breath, like a man drowning in a sea of joy.

My sister's glare could have frozen water at a hundred paces, and I knew I was in trouble.

"Shut up,"

she said, her voice low and commanding, like a whip cracking through the air.

I immediately sobered up, trying to look as innocent as possible.

"Yes, ma'am,"

I said, my voice meek, like a mouse hiding in a corner.

She turned back to Goro, her expression calm, like a serene lake on a summer's day.

"Goro sir, would you mind explaining what Shan did wrong this time?"

she asked, her voice dripping with logic, like a gentle rain nourishing the soil.

Goro's face turned red as he stammered.

"Miss Scarlet, as you already know, unlike you, he didn't attend any classes since his enrollment, and wasted all his time staring at you, his sister, and saying my classes are boring for him. And you're asking me what he did wrong?"

Mona raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical, like a judge weighing evidence, searching for the truth.

"Goro sir, you didn't answer my question. What I asked was, did my brother ever get less than 100 in his tests since his enrollment?"

she asked, her voice firm, like a challenge.

Goro shook his head, defeated, like a man facing an insurmountable opponent.

"No,"

he muttered, his voice barely audible.

She continued, her voice dripping with logic, like a gentle rain nourishing the soil.

"Did Shan lose in any sports activities?"

"No,"

Goro said, his voice growing softer, like a dying ember.

"Did Shan bully anyone?"

"No,"

he said again, his eyes cast down, like a man ashamed.

"Is looking at his own sister study against the school rules?"

Goro hesitated,

"No, but... he should at least attend the class, instead of wasting his time here,"

he said, his voice l laced with desperation, like a man clinginging to a lifeline.

Mona's eyes flashed with amusement, like a spark of electricity in the air.

"What you mean to say is, he should look at you teach what he already knows, and waste his time there instead, right?"

she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, like a summer rain washing away the dust.

Goro's face turned bright red as he realized his mistake, like a man caught in a trap, struggling to escape.

"No, I didn't mean...,"

he stammered, his voice trailing off, like a dying whisper.

Mona grabbed my head and pulled it to her side, a triumphant smile on her face, like a victor standing on the battlefield, the spoils of war in her grasp.

"Goro sir, my brother is only mine to command. If he wishes to look at me, then I'll allow it. You're not the one to tell him what he should or shouldn't do,"

she said, her voice firm, like a declaration of independence.

I grinned,

"Right, Shan,"

I said, my voice husky, my heart still racing with excitement.

"Well, of course, I'm only yours to command, I'll do anything, what you say,"

I added, trying to get a reaction out of her.

She smiled, a triumphant gleam in her eye.

"Goro sir, you've heard him. So, you should stop pestering him without any solid evidence. From now on, if you want him to attend classes, then you should at least teach him something he doesn't know or doesn't understand."

Goro nodded, defeated, and turned to leave.

"I understand, I'll go for now, but do keep in mind that, if I ever find him doing anything against school rules, I'll be sure to punish him."

Mona's smile never wavered.

"You may do as you please, as long as you leave my brother alone."

As Goro walked away, I let out a silent whoop of excitement. My sister was truly amazing.

"Now he won't bother you unless you do something naughty,"

she said, turning to me with a mischievous gleam in her eye.

Her smile was like a ray of sunshine as she said,

"Ok Shan,"

her voice dripping with amusement.

"Shan, are you listening?"

she asked, her eyes sparkling with mirth.

I couldn't contain myself; the words spilled out like a whispered secret.

"Sweet sis, I love you,"

I said, my voice husky with emotion.

In a burst of movement, I jumped through the window, landing with a soft thud in the classroom.

The students' gasps and whispers were like a distant hum, overshadowed by the pounding of my heart.

"Shan... wai... kyaaa!"

she exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and embarrassment, as I landed right in front of her.

While i said that, she screamed and everyone started looking, now I'm on top of her..

"sweet sis now it's time for my kiss"

as i was about to kiss her, she put her hand on my mouth.

"what do you think you're doing"

"I'm trying to kiss my future bride"

"that i can see, but who gave you the permission"

"what do mean, didn't you say, you'll give me a kiss,if i come over to you"

"what nonsense are you talking about, get off of me now, everyone is looking at us"

"who care's, just ignore them, and give me a big smooch"

A piercing gaze locked onto me, her eyes flashing with a warning as she snapped.

"Didn't you hear me? Get. Off. Me. Now."

Shan quickly scrambled off, his face falling as he slumped to the floor, moping like a kicked puppy.

He'd stay like that until I intervened... Sigh, I guess I have no choice.

As I sat there, sulking in the corner of the classroom, she approached me. Her voice was a whisper in my ear...

"Shan if you stop moping and behave, then i will give you a big kiss when we get home okaay"

Sweet sis's sexy voice, the way she said it, in my ear was so hot, that my mind stopped working for a sec.

"Y... yeah O... okay"

The gorilla teacher burst in, books in hand, a mischievous glare in his eyes.

"I'm back, and this time I'll teach you something that you wouldn't be able to understand on your own, so come to my class,"

he declared.

I beamed with excitement, still riding high from my sis's promise.

"Goro sir, it's so nice to see you, I would love to study under your guidance,"

I said, all innocence.

He raised an eyebrow, a creeped-out look crossing his face.

"What's going on? You said my classes are boring, and now you're suddenly so enthusiastic? It's creepy,"

he growled.

"Don't sweat the small stuff, let's go study, Goro sir,"

I said with a cheeky grin.

He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his tone.

"Well, whatever, at least you're addressing me properly now."

As I strolled back to my seat, the whispers erupted like a buzzing swarm of bees, curiosity and speculation hanging in the air.

"What did Miss Scarlet say to make him so happy and obedient?"

someone whispered, eyes wide with intrigue.

Another voice chimed in.

"Yeah, he never listens to anyone but her. It's like he's a wild beast and Miss Scarlet is the only beast tamer who can control him."

The classroom door swung open, and Luna walked in, her presence like a breath of fresh air.

"What's with all the commotion?"

she asked, her gaze sweeping the room.

I leaned back in my chair, a casual smile playing on my lips.

"Well, you're a little late."

Luna's eyes sparkled as she approached me.

"Did Shan do something again?"

she asked, her voice l laced with amusement.

I leaned in, a sly grin spreading across my face.

"Well, you're half right."

Her eyes widened, curiosity piqued.

"What?"

I chuckled, enjoying the moment.

"This time, it wasn't Shan who started it."

Luna's eyes narrowed, her mind racing.

"Then who? Wait, let me guess... gorilla teacher, right?"

I corrected her gently,

"Goro, not gorilla."

Luna rolled her eyes good-naturedly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. He should give up already. No one can control him except you."

A soft smile played on my lips.

"Fufu, yeah, you're right."

Luna's eyes sparkled with curiosity.

"So, what did you tell Shun? He looked way too happy walking through the hallway with Goro sir."

I leaned in, a mischievous glare in my eyes, and smiled. "Fufu, it's a secret?!"
