Josh and Ella cuddled each other on the couch while watching a movie when the door suddenly burst open and Sharon walked in

"Hello 👋👋👋" She waved

"How did you open the door" Josh asked flabbergasted

"Ella gave me the key the other day " Sharon shrugged

"Oh I forgot , i would have taken it back" Ella sighed

"So why are you here?" Josh asked irritated

"That's not the issue, the both of you have been married for two years and you still act like a newly wedded couple" Sharon teased with a smile

"Jealous?" Josh asked

"No, I just want to see a little cutie running around this house instead of the both of you who's always cuddling each other" Sharon snapped at him

"Uhm..so what do you feel like eating? I'll make you something " Ella asked

"Rice, A lot of meat and a cold juice " Sharon replied

"Thief" Josh muttered

"Well we have that at home so I'll just heat it up for you" Ella replied before entering the kitchen

"When you said thief, were you talking about me?" Sharon asked after Ella left

"Yes" Josh answered back

"You know Ella's birthday is in a week right?" Sharon suddenly asked

"yeah?"

"I haven't been around for a while so I don't know what she likes now so can you give me ideas on what to give?"

"why should I?" Josh asked clearly irritated

"please 🥹" Sharon pouted

"Fine I'll tell you so stop stressing me" Josh glared

"You're the best!!" Sharon exclaimed with a smile

Ella who was coming out of the kitchen with a plate of food stopped

"The food is here " Ella said making her presence known

"Finally " Sharon smiled

Josh was working in his office while on a call with Ella

"So you will be at your parents place tonight?" Josh asked Ella

"Yes I need to convince dad not to hold a party for me " Ella replied

" I wanted to come to your office to tell you but I changed my mind " Ella added

" When are you going to visit my office? You've never visited since I started the company " Josh asked

"After my birthday I promise " Ella promised

" okay bye" Josh smiled

"Wait I have a surprise for you"

" What surprise?" Josh asked

"It's already at the company " Ella answered

"it's here already?" Josh asked confused

" Bye you'll love the gift" Ella ended the call

His secretary suddenly knocked and entered

"Sir a woman outside is claiming to be your wife should we let her in? " The secretary asked

'it's already at the company ' Josh remembered Ella's words

"Of course let her in" Josh said to the secretary with a smile

"Okay Sir" the secretary bowed and walked out

Josh smiled as the door opens "Hello"

"Why don't you want to visit his company? " A woman asked

"Mom, when he was at dad's company, everyone one said that all his success was tied to being dad's son-in-law and now that he's a CEO of his own company, I fear that if people sees me they will say he achieved all he has now because of dad" Ella replied to her mother's question

"But I'll be there after my birthday" Ella smiled
