I Got My Period

A creepy voice suddenly came from behind her.

Ye Luoluo jumped, her hand slipping as she accidentally tapped the voice message Liu Siyao had just sent.

【I seriously feel bad for you. A man who can’t perform is just embarrassing. When you’re back in the capital, I’ll take you out hunting—guaranteed broad shoulders, narrow hips, and a six-pack.】

The room went awkwardly silent.

The disgust spilling out of the phone seemed to hover in the air.

Ye Luoluo watched Mu Yunting’s face grow darker by the second and hurriedly shoved her phone under the pillow.

Mu Yunting leaned over, planting his hands on either side of her. His narrow eyes slowly narrowed, dangerous.

“Who was it that grabbed my hand in the middle of the night, crying and begging me to stop… then spent the next day chugging honey water to soothe her throat?”

Ye Luoluo’s cheeks flushed pink.

Seeing him about to press down on her, she didn’t have time to think—she bent her legs and kicked him in the chest.

“Why is your mouth louder than the old ladies chopping chili peppers at the village entrance?”

As she struggled, the thin strap of her nightgown slid down, the hem riding up and revealing her smooth, pale legs and skin.

Mu Yunting’s gaze darkened, his Adam’s apple bobbing.

Following his eyes, Ye Luoluo realized how exposed she was and quickly fixed her clothes.

The moment her hands and legs loosened, his solid body pressed down on her.

Mu Yunting’s thin lips brushed against her flushed ear, his low, hazy voice an invitation.

“Everything you like, I’ve got. No need to go looking elsewhere.”

His breath and voice went straight through her ears. Her heart raced, toes curling on their own.

His lips traced the curve of her ear, like he was casting a spell, slowly stripping away her rationality.

He hit her sensitive spots with ease, draining her strength in seconds.

“Mu Yunting, get away from me!”

The words came out soft, completely lacking威慑力—more like playful resistance than real protest.

“Weren’t you pretty bold when you were teasing me earlier?”

Ye Luoluo instinctively grabbed his bathrobe, feeling like she was being led by the nose.

She’d only been brave in the heat of the moment.

When it came to the real thing, she totally chickened out.

Just as she was about to drown in his ragged breathing, a familiar warm flow suddenly hit her.

She snapped awake.

She… might’ve gotten her period.

She almost fell for that jerk’s pretty-boy trap.

Her hand around his head tugged at his hair.

“Mu Yunting, no.”

He slowly lifted his head, dark eyes blazing as they locked onto her flushed face.

His voice was hoarse as hell. “We’re already on the highway and now you’re telling me to get off?”

His look was terrifying—like he’d devour her whole and leave no bones behind.

But for once, she wasn’t scared. She smiled sweetly.

“I got my period.”

It was like dumping a bucket of ice water over him.

A man with the arrow on the string didn’t believe it—he had to check himself.

His movement made Ye Luoluo yelp.

“Mu Yunting, you变态!”

Yep. She really did get her period.

Mu Yunting’s mood turned dark. He bit down hard on her neck before finally pulling away and heading to the bathroom.

Hearing the sound of running water, Ye Luoluo happily rolled around on the bed twice.

Hmph. Served you right.

But seriously—was this man part dog?! Her neck hurt like hell.

She tidied up and lay on her side when Mu Yunting came out, his face cold as ice.

She grinned without even trying to hide it.

After a moment of silence, the man deliberately turned away.

“I’ll sleep in the guest room.”

The smile on Ye Luoluo’s face vanished instantly. She jumped off the bed and grabbed him.

“You did that on purpose! You want Grandpa to find out and put a curse on me, don’t you?!”

Petty dog! He knew Grandpa liked to eavesdrop!

Seeing him unmoved, she gently tugged at his clothes.

“Mu Yunting… my stomach hurts.”

And it really did, faintly aching.

She’d grown up spoiled by her grandpa and barely suffered in life—

except when it came to her period. When it hurt, it showed no mercy.

Her voice softened. Mu Yunting couldn’t keep teasing her anymore.

He went downstairs to make her brown sugar water. After she drank it, he pulled out a White Rabbit candy from his suit pocket, peeled it, and popped it into her mouth.

She always liked this when she felt bad.

Ye Luoluo looked surprised. “You like this candy too?”

Mu Yunting stayed silent, his narrow eyes holding unreadable meaning.

She didn’t press him, happily chewing away.

She patted the empty side of the bed.

“Since you behaved pretty well, I’ll give you half the bed.”

As she drifted off, her stomach still felt a little uncomfortable.

Mu Yunting seemed to notice and reached out to massage it. When the pain eased, she didn’t stop him.

Late into the night, she fell asleep comfortably.

Mu Yunting carefully turned off the nightlight, his eyes landing on the candy wrapper on the nightstand.

He remembered the first time he met her—

like a little angel dropping from the sky, smiling brightly as she handed him a White Rabbit candy.

He’d kept that candy for over ten years.

After meeting her again, he’d gotten into the habit of carrying some with him.

The next day.

When Ye Luoluo woke up, the person beside her was already gone.

She lazily rolled over, remembering how she’d half-woken the night before to find a big hand still gently rubbing her stomach…

A tiny bit touched. Just a tiny bit.

That feeling vanished completely when she saw the hickey on her neck in the mirror.

Downstairs, Mu Yunting and Grandpa were having breakfast, laughing happily.

She had no idea how Mu Yunting managed to charm Grandpa so thoroughly.

Only she knew the real Mu Yunting—

a textbook Scorpio man: scheming, sneaky, and shady as hell.

Mu Yunting looked up at her with a half-smile.

“Sleep well last night?”

Ye Luoluo sat down, turning her head away proudly.

“So-so.”

Seeing their interaction, Bai Zheng smiled in satisfaction.

“You and Yunting are going back to the capital today. Tickets are already booked.”

Ye Luoluo nearly sprayed her porridge.

“Grandpa, are you kicking me out?!”

Bai Zheng placed a steamed dumpling into her bowl.

“You’re married now. You can’t just run back home whenever you want.”

She pursed her lips. Fair enough—she’d rushed straight into filming the day after the wedding, and Grandpa Mu had already invited her back for dinner.

It made sense, but she was still unhappy, shooting Mu Yunting a hard glare.

Going back meant facing all those monsters and weirdos again.

Worst of all, she’d have to see that person.

Bai Zheng added worriedly,

“I’ve spoiled this child rotten—she’s willful and stubborn. Please be patient with her.”

“Not at all,” Mu Yunting replied calmly. “I like Luoluo for being straightforward and real.”

Ye Luoluo’s head buzzed.

This jerk’s acting skills were way too good.

If she didn’t know he still had someone in his heart, she might’ve actually believed he loved her.

Before leaving, she clung to Grandpa’s hand reluctantly.

“Take your medicine on time. No drinking. Eat properly.”

“Alright, alright, you’re giving Grandpa a headache,” Bai Zheng laughed, placing her hand into Mu Yunting’s.

“Go.”

Mu Yunting exchanged a glance with him and nodded slightly, leading Ye Luoluo to the car.

The old man watched the car disappear into the distance when sudden discomfort surged through him—

he spat out a mouthful of blood.

After a one-hour flight, they arrived back in the capital.

Ye Luoluo went straight to their marital home—Yujing Bay—while Mu Yunting returned to the company.

She took a nap and woke up in the afternoon.

Mu Yunting liked quiet, so the villa only had Auntie Liu.

As soon as Ye Luoluo came downstairs, Auntie Liu greeted her warmly.

“Madam’s awake? Sir asked me to prepare some light food for you. Where would you like to eat?”

Curled up on the sofa with her phone, Ye Luoluo replied lazily,

“Just bring me a cup of warm water first.”

“Alright.”

Her agent sent over several scripts. She rejected them without even looking.

Acting was just a hobby for her anyway.

That afternoon, she had a jewelry endorsement event to attend.

She ate a little, then went upstairs to get ready and head out.

Auntie Liu was cleaning the dining room when a piercing scream suddenly came from upstairs—

so loud it nearly lifted the roof.
