Eagle Eye... and the Search for the Mirage

Episode 5: "Eagle Eye... and the Search for the Mirage"

[Scene 1: Flint Mountain - Digital Dusk Time]

(Screen Description): Dry winds whistle through the sharp rock crevices. The camera zooms in on Raed (Level 3) wiping sweat from his brow, his school uniform torn and resembling primitive hunter's clothing. He is now in the heart of "Stone Mountain," the place where the regime abandoned him, far from everyone else.

Raed (to himself): "Day three... no sign of humans, no sign of Jasser or the others. This regime didn't throw me here to die, but to test my patience. If I want to find them, I have to be stronger than the mountain itself."

[Scene 2: Sniping with Stone - The Ball Player's Skill]

(Screen Description): A "Stone Crow" (Level 4), a monster with a metal beak and red eyes, emerges from behind a giant rock. The monster prepares to take flight and attack Raed. Raed: Holding a sharp flint stone, he weighs it in his hand as if it were a football before taking a free kick.

Activating Skill [Hawk-Eye - 3 Stars]: Raed's vision shifts to a "thermal/digital" mode, allowing him to see the data flowing inside the monster. A red X flashes at the base of the crow's neck.

Raed: "Distance: 40 meters... Wind Speed: 5 knots... Target: Stationary."

(Scene Description): With a swift and sudden movement, Raed twists his body and hurls the stone with terrifying force, drawing power from his leg and hip muscles. The stone cuts through the air with a "whistling" sound and strikes the crow's neck with astonishing accuracy. The monster instantly falls and dissipates into blue particles.

[System Alert: Target Eliminated... Experience +50... Current Level: 4]

[Scene 3: Crafting Hope - The Primal Bow]

(Scene Description): Raed sits beside a small fire he built from dry wood he found in a cave. At his feet lie the remains of the monsters he hunted.

Raed: "Stones drain my energy, and their range is limited. I need a machine that can translate my Hawkeye skill into a certain death from a distance."

(Scene description): Raed begins attaching a curved, flexible bone to strong strings he salvaged from monster hides. He pulls the string taut, producing a resonant sound. Raed smiles for the first time since entering the game; he has crafted his first bone bow.

[Scene 4: The Decision to Leave - Towards the Grand Coast]

(Scene description): Raed opens his faded System Map. He sees his location in the far north, in the mountains, and a vast blue expanse on the horizon called the Grand Coast. Raed (thinking aloud): "The forest (the brothers' place) is too far away and its coordinates are unknown to me now. But the Great Coast is the logical assembly point for anyone looking for resources or ships. Noor loved the sea... perhaps I'll find some trace of her there, or find Jasser looking for her."

(Scene description): Raed stands proudly, his bow slung over his shoulder, a bag of jagged stones at his waist. He gazes towards the horizon where the lights of the distant capital twinkle, and beyond that, the coast.

Raed: "Wait, Jasser... I'll reach the Great Coast. And if you're there, you'd better train well, because I won't accept a weak companion on this journey." [Final Scene: Coded Message]

(Scene Description): As Raed takes his first step down the mountain, the screen on his goggles suddenly flashes with a coded message from the resistance fighter, Surfo:

[Warning: "The King's Challenge" will begin soon... Location: Central Capital Square... Reward: One wish]

Raed (eyes gleaming): "One wish? I'll get you all home by this hour."
