First, I want to say that I really enjoy your story and appreciate your work. However, I honestly can't stand the male lead.
He feels emotionally distant to the point that loving him feels like loving a wall. The MC is always the one taking the first step, initiating conversations, fixing problems, and carrying the relationship. The male lead claims to love the MC, but his actions rarely reflect that.
Even during major moments—the divorce, Edward's situation, and other conflicts—the MC handled most things himself while the male lead remained passive. Showing up late or silently giving space isn't enough to make me feel his love.
A relationship doesn't have to be perfectly 50-50, but here it feels overwhelmingly one-sided. The MC constantly gives, while the male lead mostly receives. That's why I find him frustrating and difficult to root for.
