What I Think Is Elegance

Lesser is the occurrence of such an event nowadays when I find someone using the word 'elegance' , sometimes I find that some girls associate it like ' This saree looks elegant ' .But for me it was never about silks and velvets and emerald and pearls . It was in a lady with her locks covering her pallid face , wearing a simple cotton khakhi chikankari kurta with a plain jeans , explaining gently something to her son on a bus stop . For me it is in my grandmother who is well read , always busy with her work , who speaks only words which cherish wisdom .

What was it , what is it today

I am going on a journey to discover it ..

For me elegance is fierce , it teaches to question illogicalities , it opens a woman's ideas on patriarchy , it makes a woman reflect back , It is in the courage of Lady Diana to move above rules , It is in Rajmata Gayatri Devi being a tomboy all life and still being participating in elections , It is in Audrey Hepburn being carefree as hell in Breakfast At Tiffany's , It is in being absolutely myself with a bit of lipstick and geranium on my cheeks . Elegance is by far how people confuse woman for when they are not feminists but feminine and fall in the trap of being perfect all the times , just like that one time Duchess Kate was wearing a court heel just hours after her delivery .

Why do they have to be perfect at all ?

why can't we roam with our imperfections all along , accepting ourselves for who we are .

Because sometimes I don't want to feel bound .

Why can't I be unapologetically myself ?

This question actually diminished to a dilemma as to defining elegance in a 21st century woman .

through the journey of this book we shall travel through norms set out for women and how these can challenge them and finally reach to my definition of elegance . when I look at a woman , she looks the most beautiful and in fact , she feels the most beautiful in her natural form but technology and development , clinical processes etcetera , these all together work to create in our mind a biased view and if you are also an open minded person who does not shirk away from being a strong opinionated person  then this is your sure short giveaway to go through .

Through this novel I shall also like to bring to my readers the views of male society both the positive and negative , and how they can play a role by hindering our growth or enhancing it . 

I would also like you to post your views about what I write ,[ It is a free country , i mean and as tips and criticisms shall always go in hand in defining the success of any novel , book , article etc. ] .

And if you are interested they can surely be discussed in the upcoming episodes but only if you really want .
