Enemies In My "DREAM"
CHAPTER 1: ENEMIES
The morning sun was shining through the classroom windows. Students were busy talking, laughing, and preparing for the first lecture.
Haya Suleman walked into the class with her books in her hand. She was known as one of the most hardworking students in college. She didn’t like wasting time and always focused on her studies.
As she sat down, she heard a familiar voice from behind.
“Wow… Miss Perfect is early again.”
Haya closed her eyes for a second. She didn’t even need to turn around to know who it was.
Aliyan Maraget.
She slowly turned and looked at him with an annoyed expression.
“Why do you always talk like you have nothing better to do?” she said.
Aliyan leaned back in his chair with a small smile.
“Because annoying you is actually very interesting.”
The students around them started laughing.
Haya rolled her eyes and turned back to her notebook.
Aliyan was the only person in college who could ruin her peaceful morning. He was confident, popular, and always ready to argue with her.
And the worst part?
He was just as good in studies as she was.
Whenever there was a competition, debate, or exam result, it was always Haya vs Aliyan.
First place.
Second place.
Always the same two names.
Suddenly the teacher entered the class.
“Class, today you will work in pairs for a special project.”
Students started whispering excitedly.
The teacher continued, looking at the list.
“Haya Suleman…”
Haya sat straight.
“And Aliyan Maraget.”
The whole class gasped.
Aliyan slowly smiled.
Haya looked completely shocked.
“No way,” she whispered.
Aliyan leaned closer and said quietly,
“Well… looks like fate wants us together.”
Haya glared at him.
“Don’t get excited. This is just a project.”
Aliyan smirked.
“Sure, Miss Perfect.”
But neither of them knew…
This project was about to change everything......
CHAPTER 2: THE WORST PARTNER
The bell rang, and students slowly started leaving the classroom.
Haya quickly packed her books. She wanted to leave before Aliyan Maraget started another annoying conversation.
But before she could stand up, a voice stopped her.
“Hey, partner.”
Haya closed her eyes for a moment.
“Don’t call me that,” she said coldly.
Aliyan walked to her desk and leaned against it casually.
“Well… the teacher said we have to work together. So technically you are my partner.”
Haya crossed her arms.
“Listen carefully. We will do the project, finish it, submit it, and then we go back to ignoring each other.”
Aliyan raised an eyebrow.
“Wow… you already made the whole plan.”
Haya picked up her notebook.
“Yes. Because unlike you, I actually care about my grades.”
Aliyan laughed softly.
“You think I don’t?”
Before Haya could reply, the teacher spoke again.
“Your project topic is ‘Human Psychology and Behavior.’ You must research it together.”
The class started leaving, but Haya and Aliyan stayed behind.
Aliyan looked at the paper and smiled.
“This is interesting.”
Haya frowned.
“What is?”
Aliyan looked at her.
“Studying human behavior… while dealing with the most difficult human in the class.”
Haya glared at him.
“You are unbelievable.”
Aliyan chuckled.
“Relax. I’m joking.”
She sighed in frustration.
“Fine. When are we starting the project?”
Aliyan thought for a moment.
“Library. Tomorrow after class.”
Haya nodded quickly.
“Good. Don’t be late.”
Aliyan smirked.
“I’m never late.”
Haya grabbed her bag and walked towards the door.
But just as she left the classroom, she heard him say something quietly.
“You’re interesting, Haya.”
She stopped for a second… then continued walking.
For the first time ever…
Aliyan Maraget wasn’t just annoying.
He was becoming curious about her.
And Haya had no idea…
This project was only the beginning of something much bigger. ✨
