The beginning of Sin

Rain tapped softly against the window as Adrian Vale stared at the final sentence on his laptop screen.

“She would ruin him… and she would love every second of it.”

He exhaled slowly and leaned back in his chair. Another dark romance finished. Another dangerously obsessed character written into existence.

Lillith

But he didn't know that he written his obsession for him it's usual to write obsessed character in his story but this time it will be different it's something he never expected.

He live alone he work in a company as employee at day time but at night time he is author who write the obsession he never experienced yet.

After writing story he cook dinner for himself while humming a soft song he was thinking another story line for his new story when he heard some noise outside he walked towards windows to look down there was one person looking like a shadow the person was wearing

Black clothes face was covered by mask only eyes are visible which  are ready ready to ruin him the it's too dark to see what the eyes say but not dark enough to show its sin.

It's same sin which he written in his story the obsession he created.

He feels something dark which he never experienced in reality after few minutes the shadow disappeared.

He take deep breath to reduce uneasy feeling but he doesn't know the obsession is created.

He ate dinner.

After dinner he wash dishes while thinking what happened earlier.

Adrian grabbed his phone from the desk and opened his messages.

There was only one person he felt like telling.

Maya.

His best friend.

Or at least she used to be.

Maya smith had always been the logical one between them. While Adrian drowned in stories and imagination, Maya stayed grounded in reality.

But lately…

She had been distant.

Hardly replying.

Barely answering calls.

Almost like she had slowly disappeared from his life.

Adrian typed quickly.

Adrian:

You awake?

The message sent.

He waited.

No reply.

He sighed.

“Of course.”

Still, he typed another message.

Adrian:

I saw  someone outside my building staring at my window like they’re in a horror movie.

He stared at the screen.

Nothing.

The silence from Maya’s side felt strangely heavier tonight.

Adrian tossed the phone onto the desk and walked back toward the window.

The street was quiet.

Too quiet.

The streetlight flickered again.

And the figure was disappeared.

Adrian’s stomach tightened slightly.

“Seriously… what the hell?”

He leaned forward and tried to recognise the person’s eyes.

Maya replied

Maya: Don't tell me you are imagining things  beacause of your shit stories in where stalker who are  mafia are obsessed with girl.

Adrian replied.

Maybe you are right I am imagine things.

He added

I will talk to you later.

He put his phone aside Adrian lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling while the faint glow from the streetlight slipped through the curtains. Sleep refused to come. His mind kept drifting back to the shadow he had seen outside the window. It hadn’t moved like a normal person—too still, too deliberate. The thought made his chest feel tight. Was it just his imagination playing tricks on him after finishing the story? Writers often lost themselves in their own worlds. But something about that figure felt real… unsettlingly real. Adrian turned on his side, closing his eyes, yet the image of the shadow standing beneath the streetlight refused to leave his mind.

He didn't know that the sin he created in book its will become reality which can ruin him?

He didn't know that the sin he created in book its will become reality which can ruin him.

He fell on sleep at midnight his phone buzz with call it's his editor

Ethan Colen

Adrian answered the call immediately.

“Hey,” he said.

“Did you finally finish your masterpiece?” ethan’s teasing voice came through the phone.

Adrian chuckled softly. “yeah. But i can't decide the ending yet.”

“Wow. The world should be scared now,” he joked. “So what happens in this one? Another tragic romance?”

“Something like that,” Adrian replied.

“But darker.”

“Oh? Now I’m curious.”

Adrian hesitated before speaking again.

“Actually… something weird just happened.”

Ethan hummed on the other end. “Define weird.”

“I saw someone outside my window,” he said slowly. “Just standing there. Not moving. Like they were… watching.”

There was a brief pause.

“Adrian,” Ethan sighed, “you’ve been writing a dark obsession story for three months. Your brain is probably just playing tricks on you.”

“Maybe maya said that too ,” adrien admitted.

“Did the mysterious shadow at least look attractive?” he teased.

Adrian laughed quietly. “I couldn’t even see their face.”

“See? Nothing scary about that. Probably just someone waiting for a ride or checking their phone.”

“Yeah… you’re probably right.”

They talked for a few more minutes before ethan  finally told him to get some sleep.

“Go to bed, writer boy,” he said. “Your brain needs rest.”

“Goodnight, ethan.”

“Night.”

The call ended, leaving the apartment silent again.

Adrian glanced once more toward the window.

The streetlight still flickered outside.

But the figure was gone.

He exhaled slowly.

“See?” he muttered to himself. “Nothing.”

Put the phone aside, Adrian walked toward his bedroom and collapsed onto the bed.

The exhaustion from weeks of writing finally began to catch up with him.

Within minutes, his eyes grew heavy.

Yet even as sleep slowly pulled him under, a strange feeling lingered in the back of his mind.

That shadow…

Something about it hadn’t felt normal.

Adrian shifted slightly under the blanket, trying to ignore the thought.

Eventually, sleep claimed him.

The apartment fell completely silent.

Outside, the streetlight flickered again.

And in the faint reflection of Adrian’s bedroom window—

a dark silhouette appeared.

Watching.

Adrian believed the shadow outside his window was just a trick of exhaustion.

He didn’t know that somewhere in the darkness… the story he wrote had already begun to watch him back.
