Where Stories Begin
In a small village surrounded by green forests and quiet rivers, there lived a girl named Anaya. She was a quiet girl who loved nature more than anything. She loved the whispering trees, the glowing fireflies, and the soft wind that carried the scent of flowers.
But what she loved the most… was the night sky. ⭐
Every night, Anaya would sit near a small lake behind her house and look up at the stars. While other people made wishes on stars, she did something different.
She talked to them.
“Hello, stars,” she would say softly.
“Did something beautiful happen in the world today?”
People in the village thought she was strange. But Anaya didn’t mind. The stars always made her feel less lonely.
One night, something unusual happened.
The brightest star in the sky suddenly fell from the heavens, leaving a trail of silver light. It landed deep inside the forest.
Curious and a little scared, Anaya followed the glowing path through the trees. The forest was quiet, and the moonlight made everything look magical.
When she reached the clearing… she saw a boy standing there.
His hair shone like starlight, and his eyes looked like the night sky itself.
Anaya froze.
“Who are you?” she whispered.
The boy looked at her gently and smiled.
“I am Orion,” he said softly. “A star.”
Anaya blinked in disbelief.
“A… star?”
“Yes,” Orion said. “And I fell from the sky because someone kept talking to us every night.”
Anaya’s cheeks turned red.
“That… was me.”
Orion laughed quietly. His laugh sounded like wind chimes in the breeze.
“Stars hear many wishes,” he said. “But no one ever asks how we are. You were the first person who spoke to us like friends.”
For the first time in his long existence, Orion wanted to understand humans.
So he stayed.
Every night, Anaya showed him the beauty of Earth — glowing fireflies, rivers that sang softly, and forests that danced with the wind.
And Orion showed her the beauty of the sky — constellations, galaxies, and the secrets of the universe.
Days passed. Then weeks.
But one night Orion looked sad.
“Why?” Anaya asked.
He looked at the sky quietly.
“Stars cannot stay on Earth forever,” he said. “Soon… I must return to the sky.”
Anaya felt her heart ache.
But she smiled gently.
“Then when you go back,” she said softly, “shines brighter than all the stars. So I will always know which one you are.”
Orion looked at her, surprised.
“You’re not sad?”
“I am,” she said. “But beautiful things are not meant to stay forever. They are meant to be remembered.”
That night Orion returned to the sky.
From that day onward, one star shone brighter than all the others.
And every night Anaya would look at it and whisper—
“Hello, Orion.”
And somewhere far away in the sky…
The star would shine a little brighter. Okay this is my novel and I start so please support and like, comment, share and subscribe.
