Before everything started… there was Discord.

Not a place you can touch, not a place you can see… but a small digital world where thousands of voices meet every day.

Servers full of strangers.

Chats full of random conversations.

Late night voice calls where people laugh, argue, share stories… and sometimes, unknowingly change each other's lives.

For many people, Discord is just an app.

A place to pass time.

A place to talk with friends.

But for me… it became something more.

Because somewhere between those endless chats, muted microphones, and sudden laughter in voice calls…

I met him.

And I didn’t know it then… but that one voice call was about to start a story I would never forget.

Time 2:43 Date 11-1-26

That afternoon felt completely normal… at least at first.

At around 2:43 PM, I joined the Discord VC. A few seconds later, he joined too.

Ayaan was already in the voice chat. He’s Vihaan best friend not just any friend, but the kind of friend who has been with him for almost eight years. Their bond is something different… a perfect mix of teasing, chaos, and brotherhood.

The moment vihaan joined the VC, ayaan immediately spoke.

ayaan – “Abe finally aagye bhai tum!”

vihaan – “Haan aagya… kya kar rahe ho tum log?”

my pov – The moment I heard his voice, I don’t know why… but I suddenly became quiet. It’s strange how someone’s presence can change the whole mood for you

The two of them started talking like they always do casually, comfortably, like they had known each other forever.

And there I was… sitting in that VC with them.

Just the three of us.

What started as a normal afternoon voice chat slowly turned into hours of talking, laughing, and random conversations.

At that time… I had no idea that this simple voice call would become such an important memory for me.

Before that day… vihaan and I already knew each other.

We talked sometimes, joked sometimes, argued sometimes. Somewhere between all that, a small unspoken feeling had already started growing between us.

But neither of us had ever said it out loud.

That day we were all playing Owo, the Discord bot game. It has a funny system where you can actually marry someone in the game.

At one point, suddenly Yash said

vihaan – “Owo marry kare?”

my pov – For a second I just froze. My face instantly went warm.

Vihaan – “Owo marry kare?”

my pov - "Abhi ???"

Vihaan - "yeah, ruko"

Then he turned to ayaan

Vihaan – “Oye ayaan, dusri ID mein 10m daalna Owo.”

ayaan tried to help… but he accidentally sent the money to a banned account.

For a moment there was silence… and then

Vihaan – “Agar aaj marriage nahi hui na toh dekhna tum Ayaan!”

Ayaan, being the emotional crybaby he is, immediately panicked.

Ayaan – “Arre ruko bhai! Aaj hi hogi… abhi karvata hoon!”

Then he called their friend Dev into the VC. Dev is the chill type of guy always calm, always relaxed.

They tried again to send the money… but this time the tag was wrong, so the money didn’t go through.

And that’s when Vihaan said the line that made me laugh so much.

Vihaan – “Chutiya hai kya bhai tu bhi…”

I couldn’t stop laughing.

me – “Are koi na… kal kar lenge.”

But apparently that was not an option.

Both vihaan and ayaan had suddenly become completely determined.

vihaan – “Nahi! Aaj hi hogi.”

ayaan even asked his best friend Mishu for help, and dev added some too. All three of them somehow managed to gather the 10 million Owo coins and send them to Vihaan second account.

Finally… everything was ready.

And then came the moment.

Right there… in front of everyone in the VC…

Vihaan proposed.

For a second my heart was beating so fast I could barely think.

But I smiled… and accepted.

And just like that… we got married in Owo.

None of us knew it then… but that silly little Discord marriage was the moment our real love story started.
