“Who Am I Really?”

“Who Am I Really?”

Introduction..

Two young men named Keyya and Max had been friends for 6 years, but they were separated when they were only 7 years old. 2 months after their separation, Keyya died, leaving Max with a memory he could never forget. Max kept thinking about him for years, wondering what really happened, and the fear of losing his friend never truly disappeared.

Years later, when they were 19, they met again in college. Keyya had entered college later than others, because he did not enroll at the age of 18, so he only started when he was 19. When Max saw him for the first time, the atmosphere felt strange and different. Keyya did not remember anything about their past, but Max remembered everything clearly. Because of what happened years ago, Max felt scared. He knew that Keyya had died when they were 7, yet the person standing in front of him looked completely real. Max kept staring at him with a sharp, serious gaze, trying to make sure that the one he was looking at was truly human… or something else.

After that, Mr. Kim told Keyya and his twin brother, Kai, to stay in the dorm together with Max and their other friends, Ace, Leo, James, Alex, and Matthew. Max then brought Keyya and Kai to the dorm, and they started living there. The dorm looked like a normal house, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kai chose the bedroom next to the dining room, while Keyya entered the bedroom beside the living room window.

However, one question remained in Max’s mind the whole time…

Did the others actually know that Keyya had died years ago, or was he the only one who remembered the truth?

Not long after that, Max did not say anything, as if he did not know the truth. However, Matthew and Ace knew about it. Even though Ace did not know Keyya before, he was still able to tell, because Ace himself had also died a long time ago.

But Max was not afraid of Ace, because Ace’s death was not terrifying. Keyya’s death, on the other hand, was horrifying. Half of his face had been torn apart, exposing his skull, and his body at the time of death was covered in so much blood. Max was not afraid of blood, but he hated horror, and that was why the memory of Keyya’s death made him feel extremely disturbed and uneasy.

Max remained silent because he did not know what to think next, but Keyya knew that Max was thinking about him. Keyya stayed quiet and simply smiled at him. Even though Keyya and Max had been friends since childhood, Max was still afraid of him because he had died a long time ago. At first, Max had not been afraid, because it had not been terrifying—but after Keyya’s death, Max feared him. He even thought that maybe he should stay away, but if he distanced himself from Keyya, something bad might happen.

Keyya was a kind and sweet young man. He also did not like people who spoke rudely, like many others outside.
