A Horrible Bus Journey

This is a short story about my experience. When I was in class 6 our school arranged a trip for us.

Like every year, this year also our school arranged an educational excursion. This time we went to a historical place. All of us enjoyed the excursion very much. However, while coming back we passed some anxious moments. We had to cross a notorious jungle famous for dacoity, snatching etc. Being aware of the danger, the driver of our bus pickup up speed. Suddenly, we startled at a bursting sound midway in the dark jungle. Two tyres of our bus were punctured. We got down. We kept on shivering and praying to God for about three hours. Our teachers guarded us but the time seemed unmoved. However, the tyres were refixed and the bus started again. Our suspense and tension got over. Anyway, we reached our homes safely at day-break. The hour of the journey full of suspense haunts me still.
