Rio stood silently for a moment, staring at the small glowing papers in his hands. His eyes were filled with both pride and worry.
Hanna: "Rio? What happened? Why are you so quiet?"
She walked into the backyard after hearing everyone's excited voices.
Rio slowly handed the papers to her.
Hanna's eyes widened as she read the results.
Hanna: "This... this is incredible."
She smiled warmly at the twins before gently hugging them.
Hanna: "I'm so proud of both of you."
Aria: "Mom! Dad said I can learn every kind of magic! Is that really true?"
Hanna: "Yes, sweetheart. But such a gift also comes with great responsibility."
Akira: "And I can shapeshift and summon creatures! That's so cool!"
Rio nodded.
Rio: "Both of your abilities are extremely rare. But remember one thing."
The twins looked at him attentively.
Rio: "Power doesn't make someone strong. Discipline, kindness, and courage do. Even the greatest heroes started at Level 0... just like you."
Both twins nodded seriously.
Aria & Akira: "We understand, Dad!"
Rio smiled.
Rio: "From tomorrow morning, your training begins."
Aria: "Really?!"
Akira: "Finally!"
The two twins jumped happily while Hanna laughed.
As the sun slowly set behind the mountains, a gentle breeze flowed through the backyard.
None of them noticed that Aria's test paper had not completely disappeared.
A tiny golden symbol, shaped like a flame surrounded by strange ancient runes, briefly glowed before fading away.
Far away, inside an ancient temple hidden deep within a forgotten forest...
An old man suddenly opened his eyes.
"...Impossible."
He slowly stood up, looking toward the distant horizon.
"After all these years... the Child of Infinite Magic has finally awakened."
The room fell silent.
A new adventure was about to begin. The next morning, Aria and Akira woke before sunrise. They quickly got dressed and rushed into the backyard, where Rio was already waiting with two wooden practice staffs.
"Today's lesson isn't about fighting," Rio said with a smile. "It's about controlling your mana."
He placed a smooth crystal on a stone table.
"Close your eyes. Take a deep breath, and imagine your mana flowing through your body."
Akira concentrated first. A gentle breeze circled around him, making leaves dance across the yard.
"Excellent," Rio praised.
Then Aria stepped forward. She closed her eyes, and a tiny flame appeared above her hand. Moments later, the flame transformed into a sparkling drop of water before fading away.
Rio and Hanna exchanged surprised glances.
"You changed magic without any training," Hanna whispered.
Aria blinked. "Did I do something wrong?"
"No," Rio replied softly. "You did something extraordinary."
Just then, the crystal began glowing with a brilliant golden light. Strange symbols appeared across its surface, as if responding to Aria's mana.
Rio's expression turned serious.
"It seems," he said, "your journey has already begun."
Neither twin realized that someone hidden beyond the garden fence had witnessed everything in complete silence, watching them with mysterious glowing eyes from afar.
