Inside the A'1 building, staff members hurried from one place to another, preparing for an upcoming show. Clipboards in hand, voices overlapping, tension filled the air.
“Everyone, I want everything in place. Nothing should be missed, and the artists must feel comfortable. This is a big show, so let’s do our best,” the event manager said firmly, overseeing the chaos.
This show matters most.
Not because of the stage.
Not because of the crowd.
But because of who was supposed to be there.
LucaAiden.
FlukeKanin.
And Cassian.
The power couples of A'1 production and the booming solo actor, who are famous for their series and their amazing chemistry.
Cassian is a booming solo actor, who is famous for his script choosing and his fabulous acting in onscreen and also for couple series back in past with Kael.
While LucaAiden and FlukeKanin are famous for their couple acting and also for their solo dramas too. Just 2 years before Luca and Aiden publicly announced their relationship as boyfriend's.
They were all set to attend the show to promote their new series. Yet somewhere in the middle of the preparation, an uneasy feeling lingered—as if something was missing. Or rather… someone.
In the makeup room, Cassian sat quietly as stylists worked around him. His posture was stiff, unfamiliar. The playful, demure energy he once carried was gone. The light in his eyes had dimmed. The boy who laughed with his deep voice was gone.
Luca, Aiden, Fluke, and Kanin were in the same room, yet there no joked. No teasing, no laughter, no one messing with each other like before. The space that once echoed with chaos and warmth now felt heavy and restrained.
Luca looked at his best friend who gone silent after that one person disappeared from their life. That person is also like little brother to him but when the problem raised he was torn between choosing sides.
The other three also didn't say anything since they came to the set, the air is filled with tension.
Even the staff could sense it—the tension, the silence, the absence.
The one who used to flutter around them like a butterfly was gone.
Not just missing—
but lost.
You already know who I’m talking about, don’t you?
They used to be called the Power Ranger gang.
But you couldn’t call them that anymore—not without Kael.
Without him, the group felt incomplete, like a color missing from the team.
Why wasn’t Kael there anymore?
Why was he all the way in Turkey instead of standing beside them in Bangkok?
To understand that, we have to go back to his story.
In Turkey, Warith and Kael finally reached Kael's home—the place he shared with Jade and Nanthini, while his family lived just a few blocks away.
Warith turned toward Kael, about to ask something—
“Mama!”
“Mamaaa!”
Two small voices cut through the night.
They both turned just in time to see two little boys running straight toward Kael.
Kael immediately knelt down, opening his arms wide. The boys crashed into him, and he hugged them tightly against his chest, kissing their cheeks again and again.
The boys then turned to Warith and wrapped their tiny arms around him too.
“Warittt, did you bring chocolate for us?” one of them asked, eyes wide enough to melt anyone on the spot.
“Of course I did. How could I forget you two?” Warith replied cheerfully, handing each of them a pack of chocolates.
“Warith! What did I tell you about giving them chocolate at night?” Kael scolded him, though there was no real anger in his voice—only fondness.
“They’ll only eat chocolate and skip their food, and they also won’t brush their teeth after. I’m going to beat you, Warith.”
Warith lifted one of the boys into his arms and raised his free hand in surrender.
“I’m sorry, officer.”
The boys copied him instantly.
“I’m sowwy, officerer!”
They all burst into giggles—including Kael.
“Oi, my kuttis, what did I tell you about running out like this?” Nanthini called as she approached.
“What if you tripped? Come on, I’ll tuck you both into bed.”
She glanced at Kael and added,
“You too Kael, come inside. It’s already late.”
“Yes, Phi. Two minutes,” Kael replied.
Nanthini shot him a playful smirk.
“Okay, okay.”
“Phi… stop it,” Kael groaned, embarrassed.
“Let’s go, kuttis, before your mama beats me,” Nanthini teased, leading the boys inside.
Kael turned back to Warith.
“You know, you don’t have to always buy things for the boys. And the expensive gifts… I don’t know what to say. You really don’t have to.”
Warith looked at him seriously.
“I like buying them things, Kael. And spending time with them makes me feel connected to them. They don’t see me as a stranger anymore. I feel like I’m part of their lives now—and I want to stay part of their lives, as long as you allow me to.”
He paused, choosing his words carefully.
“I know it’s hard for you to accept me. You have sons. You’ll think—what if after marriage I don’t care for them like my own, or hurt them somehow? That fear is real, and I understand it.”
Warith met Kael’s eyes steadily.
“I promise I’ll never do anything that makes you or the boys uncomfortable. You already trusted me enough to let me spend time with them on Sundays—and those are the moments I treasure the most.”
His voice softened.
“You and the boys… you make me feel human again.”
Kael’s breath hitched.
Warith always said that. And Kael understood why—growing up without parental figures, never having dated anyone before him. He understood that loneliness too well.
Kael took a deep breath, then smiled.
“Okay, Mr. CEO,” he said softly.
“Propose to me properly—with a real ring. Not like the first time, where you grabbed a dummy ring in a hurry and proposed.”
Before Warith could react, Kael pecked his cheek and ran inside the house.
Warith stood frozen. Completely stunned.
“W–what… r–ring? A real ring? Oh my God—”
He turned toward the door Kael had disappeared through.
“Kael, are you saying yes to me?!”
From inside, Kael’s voice floated back, teasing and warm:
“Only after you propose with a real ring, Mr. CEO.” 🤭
And for the first time in a long while, Warith felt like his heart might actually burst—with hope.
