Shuliana was running away from the creepy looking monster, after the monster lose track of her, she take a breath and trying to convince her self it was just a dream. while she was distracted a monster appear behind her and attack her Shuliana wake up from fear, breathing heavily and she heard the alarm from her ringing clock she realized she's late. "oh no i'm late!" she shouted running downstairs getting ready for school, Max her father heard her and said to her "Shu-shu don't forget your lunch in the table" Shu-shu grab her lunch box and said to his father "thanks dad" her mother Charlie came out of the room and was also late shu-shu mom said "sweetie bye, mom's gonna be late too" Shu-shu replied "bye mom" they depart away from each other. Shu-shu sighed from tiredness, worn out from running "she sighed. 'Good thing the bus is still here" she went in, finding her own seat near the window. while she was looking for her seat she saw a boy talking to his friend she feels trouble thinking she will be disturb, and the boy noticed her his eyes gleamered from interested.Shu-shu noticed him gleaming with interested "ohh no" she thought-she'd be disturb, the boy greeted Shu-shu with a bright smile "hey shu-shu! I didn't know you took this bus too." shu-shu replied "huh?" looking at him carefully remembering him suddenly "Raydel Nash!?" shu-shu said remembering her childhood sweetheart Nash smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear- a habit he'd had since they were 5, playing by the ash tree. "You know what my name means, right?' he said softly. It's always been about you too, Shu-shu. A ray of light for the girl I've love since we built forts under the Nash tree." "Remember when we were 8?" Raydel said, his voice soft as the river breeze. "You called me your favorite friend" and I said you were mine too" shu-shu felt her cheeks warm. "that was just kids stuff," she mubble, but she can't meet his eye - not when she still felt the same flutter in her stomach she'd felt back then."Maybe,"he said gently, reaching for her hand. "But I've never stopped thinking your the best thing in my life. I think..... we've been childhood sweetheart longer then we've even had words for it."

"Shu-shu!" Raydel panted, catching up to her by the ash tree. He held out a small paper bag of race cake his Lola had made. "For you," he said, his face pink from running. "I...I like you a lot. More than anyone else." Shu-shu's eyes went wide. "You mean it?" "Always," he nodded. "I think you're my favorite person in the whole world, shu-shu."

"You still remember that?" Shu-shu whispered."How could I forget?" Raydel squeeze her hand "We've been childhood sweetheart since the day we made the promise under the ash tree. Nothing's going to change that." shu-shu looking at him with an unreadable face chuckling at him "your still as annoying talkative Nash* she said

Nash laugh knowing he tease her a lot back when they were still a kid "yeah I still remember when we we're still a kid" shu-shu pouting "hmph I'll never forget when you used to call me a donkey" Nash chuckles remembering her red tomato face from embarrassed by him calling her a donkey
