Words spread out like wild fire

"Lisa Hughes has been arrested?

"OMG wonders never cease to end!

"Gosh she's a suspect?

Words swirled round as the cops led Lisa towards the van

Her face was unhinged,stoic and emotionless

"How could she still be so calm after killing a fellow human ? Arrghh!

Students continued to whisper as the van drove out of sight

"It's no news to me she has always been threatening Riley,it wouldn't be a surprise if she turns out to be a murderer"

A Girl said not minding the intense stare she received from others .

Apparently Kingston high is known all through the country not only for it's prestige.

It's academic excellence is the most applauded and of course the biggest in the country where only elites are welcomed and are being treated according to hierarchy.

Until the advent of a special programme which enabled the less privileged to be enrolled as scorlaship students.

But, behind every glamour of the school's prestige there is a group of students backing up the process.

The supreme six.

They're considered the ideal backbone of the school and apparently they eat their cake and have it

And on the top of the supreme chain was Riley Reigns!

Detective James stared at Lisa with a look of complexity in his eyes

The girl was still unhinged .

"Are you just gonna sit down there and stare all day? I have a party tonight" she blurted, brushing the strand of hair from her face

"Why did you kill miss Reigns? He finally asked , after a long overwhelming silence

Lisa laughed.

" Do I look like a killer or something?

"We don't judge a book by it's cover ..." He paused for a while plugging the USB into his laptop before shoving it right in her front

"Still gonna deny ?

Lisa's face fell

"Where did you get this ?

"Does that matter? Explain why you two were arguing right beside the pool on the day of her death? Care to explain"the detective asked raising his brows

" I was there and so what? Lisa shrieked

"You pushed her into the pool...see..." James muttered showing her the clip

Lisa turned ashen

"Now, care to explain why you stabbed the gut outta her?

"I didn't! She yelled banging on the hard desk furiously

"I have more than enough proof already,won't mind seeing them...with this you might rot In jail forever...I bet you know how powerful her family is!

Lisa gulped, for the first time ever fear came crashing into her like the waves of a sea storm .

what could she possibly do In this situation?

Her throat tightened and she felt a hot sensation running up her sleeves

"I didn't,I swear down " she mumbled dryly unable to accept the fact that there's a card against her already

"Do you know how scary cells inmates can be? Seems like you want to get a firsthand experience!

Her guts cracked and she whimpered, sinking into her seat with fear eating her deep.
