Friendship....

Rosé was tired of loneliness...

She had friends. But not close enough to talk. She want to close her bond with her friends. Her mother suggested her to spend some time giving chocolates to her classmates and act friendly with them.

Her classroom hummed softly with students settling after lunch. Rosé opened her bag and pulled out a small box of chocolates, neatly wrapped. She had gotten them from her mother and wanted to share.

“Hey, everyone! I brought something sweet!” Rosé said, smiling as she offered the chocolates around.

Jimin, sitting quietly near the window, glanced at her. Calm, composed, yet his eyes softened as they met hers.

“Rosé… you really didn’t had to,” he murmured, a small smile tugging at his lips.

“You love chocolate,” she teased gently, placing a piece near him.

V, leaning casually against the wall, whispered to JK, smirking, “Look at him, pretending he doesn’t care. He’s barely holding back.”

From across the aisle, Yuna eyed the chocolates and huffed. “School rules forbid snacks during class. And… isn’t this imported? Jimin, you really only eat imported stuff, huh?” She smirked, trying to sound superior.

Jimin raised an eyebrow, calmly taking the chocolate. “And what’s wrong with that?” His voice was calm, almost indifferent, but there was a quiet edge that made Yuna falter.

Jisoo, sitting beside Rosé, whispered with a grin: “V, see that? He’s acting all calm, but you know he’s thinking ‘watch me enjoy this chocolate quietly and crush her argument.’”

V chuckled softly. “Yeah… classic. He barely says anything, but you can tell he’s smug.”

Rosé bit her lip, trying not to laugh at the small exchange, while Yuna crossed her arms.

“You’re so spoiled,” Yuna said, flipping her hair. “He probably doesn’t even care about normal snacks. Imported chocolate… really shows how different he is.”

Jimin finally looked up at her, calm but piercing. “I care about what’s meaningful. And right now… this chocolate is meaningful.” His gaze flicked briefly to Rosé, and the subtle intensity made her cheeks warm.

Jisoo elbowed V, whispering: “See that? He’s looking at her like… like she’s the only meaningful thing in the room.”

V laughed quietly, shaking his head. “Yeah… quiet doesn’t mean nothing. He’s practically glowing.”

Rosé tried to hide her smile, quietly grateful for her friends. The room, normally a mundane school environment, suddenly felt charged with small, significant moments.

Yuna huffed again but fell silent, realizing she couldn’t pierce the calm barrier Jimin had built. Rosé passed another chocolate piece toward him, their fingers brushing slightly. A small spark of warmth lingered between them — soft, fleeting, but real.

“Thanks,” Jimin said quietly, accepting it. His voice was calm, but the small smile he gave her said more than words ever could.

Jisoo nudged V again. “This is too cute. I can’t… They barely say anything, but you can feel everything.”

V smirked, whispering back: “Exactly. Quiet, calm, subtle… that’s the dangerous kind of romance.”

The class continued quietly, but Rosé and Jimin shared chocolate, subtle glances, and small smiles — the ordinary act of sharing becoming a secret bridge between them, unnoticed by most but deeply felt by the two of them.

Even Yuna, who tried to assert superiority, could see it now: there was something different here. Something meaningful, subtle, and entirely theirs.
