"AW. " The young girl in question let out a soft scream that only reached 1 kilometer. "Anyway, DUCK! DUCK! DUCK!" This too, reached 1 km.

" DUDE, WHAT!?" This, unfortunately, only reached 1 meter. The boy clicked open the door to the young lady's room and found her on the floor. She had just fallen out the bed, it seemed.

She stared at the young man who threw the slice cheese right across her face in silence. She knows full well that she needed that slap to reality, but it's still annoying to get help from none other than her brother. That too, with cheese of all things.

"You know how expensive cheese is?"

" Don't worry cos you're gonna eat that cheese. For breakfast. "

"...."

The girl didn't argue because she knew well that reality won't let her throw that cheese. They stayed quiet for another moment, just glaring at each other.

Another figure emerged through the darkness behind the young man.

"Whats up?"

It's about time to introduce people here.

The screaming 18 year old young lady is none other than the great Eudora. Eudora had just passed high school with flying colours and is planning to join a college. Her life have given her nothing but blessings. Of course, she did encounter some hardships here and there, but all is well and is nothing she can't overcome.

The cheese smacker is Aarish. Eudora's Indian - British half brother. He is 16 years old but acts like the big brother.

Eudora's mother had passed away due to slow poisoning. The culprit? her dad. You see, her mother is a walking money bank. Her mom, Jane Gloria, had a good business that she built from scratch. Unfortunately, Jane's big brain didn't have the ability to marry a good man. The so called "good man" Liam Hector, was a bitch.

Liam was a good for nothing gambler until the day he met the ever so beautiful Jane at a train station. He didn't know the reason why but Jane was suddenly walking towards him and hid behind him. He soon realized why. There were 3 not so dangerous but dangerous looking men standing before him with smug faces. Of course the station is half empty because it's 10:30.

He was the nearest human she could find. He knew the fact that he's obviously gonna lose if it's about strength. But strength isn't the only thing a man has.

"Aw man! And here I thought that I would be able to breath freely on a Saturday..." Liam let out in disappointment. One of the men chuckled.

" Or maybe you can turn around and mind your own business, buddy~" a buff looking guy whispered as he closed the distance between him and Liam. Liam's heart was beating fast. He isn't wrong, though. If Jane hadn't chosen Liam as a shield, he wouldn't waste his breath yet spare a glance at this kind of situation. Liam wasn't built to be a hero.

If Liam was in a superhero novel, he would be one of the characters that got saved from a cockroach.

" I can't! Buddy~ Because then the people at the station are going to ask me shit like 'You're a damn police officer! Saturday is no excuse!' and they'll most probably fire me." He let out softly, scratching the back of his head. Now, a small hint of fear is visible on each of their face.

" You think you can fool us? haha" one of them giggled nervously.

"Also, I know I'm just a one-man weakling, but you should know well that a police officer always wears a body camera for situations just like this. You can hit me or whenever but only do that if you're ready to get exposed on TV." Liam's tone gained volume.

"Body camera my foot-"

"I wonder what all your family would think about your deeds. I mean, gang grape and assaulting a police officer? That too on TV? All your relatives and neighbors are going to have such a good time~ don't you think?" Liam is now fully confident. He's actually not. Bro is trembling. Deep down, he is praying for this to work.

The three man glanced at each other. It was obvious that they were signaling each other. Suddenly, they all burst in to laughter.

"HaHa ha! My! What a day! Actually we wanted to go see Weddesdon Manor but as u can see, we got lost. So we wanted to ask this nice lady who we assumed is from Aylesbury, to gain some information about the place." Said the thin guy who was standing behind the other 2.

" Ha ha, We sincerely apologize if we scared you!" Said the buff one with a crooked smile. "We'll take our leave now! We are sorry for scaring you. Really!" they blurted out fast and vanished in to the shadows.

"You're not a police officer, are you?... "Jane spoke up from behind. "No..." Said Liam with drifted eyes.

"... Thank you..." Jane snickered. Not the bad snicker, but the good one where she is relieved and happy that a stunt like this actually worked.

That was the prettiest smile Liam had ever laid his eyes on to.
