A Girl calls out, "Mmaa."
"Ee, Adaku nwa Nnenyelụgo, inwelu ajụjụ? You got a question?"
"Ee Mmaa, is this where they make the Father of all peoplekind, Amadiọha?"
"The Father... Ee Adaku chelu, ịgava aghọta."
"Mmaa..."
"Mmaa anyị."
"Ụmụazị bụtụe nu na unu gagha ghọta." Mmaa says clearing her throat.
****
"Holy Mother of all peoplekind! Me! These things are huge." Anị exclaims.
They had landed Earth again, Achara Ani (Mother Earth's abode) and they were hiding behind the tall grasses near the waters.
They turn to Ọma, "Babes, what's the plan? Uche gị adị kwa ya?" Ikuku asks.
"Yes, I just need Ani to follow me into the waters..."
"Ok big sis, let's go..."
"From our Waters you came, from your waters you now make Life, nothing came from nothing, we all come from Water, the waters from our Mothers is the water of Life, all that comes from a Woman is the sustainer and preserver of our Life source energy... Nothing more, nothing less." The voice calls out.
"Chineke." Ọma calls out, "Ọgini kwa?"
"Be careful in that which you birth, for it will be terrible if that which you give Life takes Life from you, but alas it won't be your fault, the Mother is always right and detail oriented, even if it costs her her Life... Focus on the inner so the outer won't sip in, you have one chance to make it right..." Silence again. Chineke is quiet.
Ọma lets out a sigh and moves into the Waters with Anị following suit.
"Maka gị Ani, I'm so fucking confused I can't even relate, like Chineke Nne anyị is too confusing."
"Nne, biko hapụ Chineke, anyị gava ghọta... Hopefully..."
"Hopefully o." Ọma says as she finally disappears into the waters after Anị.
The rustling which they make attracts one of the beings who comes to check but finds nothing. Luckily for Ikuku and Anyanwụ, they hid by his Legs. He's too massive to see them below him.
"Big ugly monster, I wouldn't wanna live in a world surrounded by all these, Ọma and Anị better do something quick." Ikuku says.
In the waters, they've both seemingly gotten to the bottom of the waters but Anị glances and realizes that they still have a long way to go.
"Girl, this place will do biko." Ọma says.
"Ọkwa ya?" Ọma nods. "So what do we actually do?" Anị asks.
"Just like before, let's stay close together and see what we'll birth, together."
They join themselves as one but nothing happens. Closer, nothing, Closer still and still no spark.
"We're fucked, Ike agwula m." Anị says.
"Anị calm down. There has to be another way. Chineke, what's going on?" No response.
"Girl wait o." Anị calls out. "I just realized I've been following you blindly." Ọma frowns, she continues. "What the hell are we actually doing here?"
Ọma sighs and sits down on a rock, annoyed she has to explain herself unnecessarily. "It's for the best I guess. Anị, fine Girl, look, remember when Chineke said that "The Women say where we're going to go, the Men follow the lead of the Women and take the collective to exactly where the Women say we should go?" Ani nods. "Exactly. So yes, we are the Women, You, Anyanwu, Ikuku and I, the four pillars of the Universe's stability and existence but there is no Man, so we have to birth the Man, so he can help us get there. He won't lead us, but he will absolutely take us to where we Women say is the right track."
"Women envision, Men execute. No hierarchy just roundness and cooperation. Women call the shots, Men take us there. Women direct, Men deliver. Am I right Ọma?"
"Anị, this is why I love you. Exactly. You're right."
"Sis I think I get where you're headed." Ani says. Yes, I'm digging you and I Love that."
"So can we work on this which I have mentioned?"
She stands up and moves closer to Ọma then stops, "But wait o, Sister."
"Ee?"
"Sister, how're are they going to look?"
Ọma stops. She sits down. She looks up at Anị and shakes her head.
"Let's make it this way." Ani says. "We'll take the form of a star, five edges, a head, two arms, two feet."
"Let's be intentional..."
"Ọma bụtụe nu."
"Ndo nwanne m Nwaanyị." Ọma replies. "Biko na ekwụ. Continue.
"Think about how we want the rest people to be in the long run."
"The rest people?" Ọma asks in surprise.
"Yes Ọmarịcha, c'mon, the ones that we'll birth, and they will look like us."
"Anị I'm not digging what you're saying..."
"Ọma, you know what, just follow my lead alright?" Ọma nods sitting down on the rock.
"I'll sit this one out, right?" Ani nods in response.
"Babes, you should." Anị stands shutting her eyes. She just stands, hands intertwined in a clench. Ọma watches on meanwhile feeling the oceanic movements around her.
Anị slowly but surely transforms into something different. Ọma in amazement arises speechless.
"What... The hell? Ọ gini? Gidọzi?"
"I will be the brain child for the Woman gender, Nwaanyị. These two are for nursing the child which I'll bear and the people whom you will create will fall on their heads for the love of these. They'll literally run mad for over these, Madness, Ara."
Ọma chuckles at what she says. "Aniiii." They both laugh. "The under nkọ?"
"Ok her? She's the portal of Life, the pathway through which all Life will emerge, the great warmth, we will call her Mpakọndu, the pride of Life." Ọma nods.
"And the two above nkọ..." She feels on them and rubs the tips, Ani shuts her eyes and parts her lips in delight. "These two succulent and soft lumps of flesh will be called what?"
"Ala, after myself. Ala because Earth, Ani holds the source of sustenance for Life, water, real food, fruits and water. These will hold the source of maintenance and sustenance for a child, water, minerals and what not, they'll be in a white liquid form but will be essential for existence, we'll call them Mmili ndu, the Water of Life, Milk."
"Nne, you're doing a marvelous job." Ọma says.
"Girl, they won't be calling me Mother Earth or Mother Africa for nothing. Africa, Anịnne. So yeah."
"Continue, wait, so the Man which were to give Life to will come from you?"
"Yes, but not this one. This one will not come directly from me. I want to give power to Men because they're supposed to be our help mates..."
"Supposed?"
"They're our help mates."
"Exactly." Ọma says. "They come from us, and we don't come from them.
"Gbam! So Sis, the power I want to give them is as such." Ọma copies her physique with immediate effect signalling approval. Ani smiles, "Kitaa ka anyị bu Mmadu."
Ọma reaches for a hug. "Ani bịa makụọ m" Ani comes closer, and they hug. "This feels good."
"Reallll, So the Man, he should have something that resembles our portal of Life to signal he mutated from us because all Life will start from a phase. Let's say nnyefe ndu, a chromosome, anyị ga akpọ ya nnyefe ndu waa waa for the Nwaanyị, Woman and nnyefe ndu waa yee for the Nwọke, Man."
"Waa na Yee kwa?" Ọma asks.
"Ee nu, Edemede ndi gboo, Aabiidii, Waayeezii. That's a story for another day." Ani says.
"Ok o. Mana Nne, you mentioned they should have a mutated form of our portal of Life meaning that it won't be a portal but simply our vagina protruding outwards because as you mentioned the WaaWaa chromosome, that's the WW (XX) chromosome is the starter part for all eggs, so mid-stage after fertilization it can then evolve into a WaaYee chromosome if it's to be a Man, WY (XY), meaning the Y is a W that couldn't complete its full development."
"So all Life is supposed to be WW (XX) right but it will be said in the distant future that during evolution, one of the chromosomes got a defect causing an edge to break off and it then became WY (XY) chromosome." Ani verifies.
Ọma nods. "I think I can work with this your knowledge of the future."
Ani asks for a high five. "I like the way you're thinking, Nye m ịse, nye m ịse, nye m ịse!"
Ọma high-fives her.
"Moving on. And it should have some sort of fertilizer not an egg..."
"The eggs in our body, yes there will be eggs and the child will come from the egg, so the egg is the seed of Life, the Ova/Ovum, Àkwá ndu." Ọma says.
"Thank you, Sister, so the Man's fertilizer will be liquid, we'll call it Omili named after Amiri which is Urine, and Ụmịrị which is squirt. All named after Mmịrị/Mmili, Water. Omili is Sperm, Spermatozoa. The Sperm will fertilize the Egg when needed by the Woman. Either ways, Nwaanyị will bleed starting from a certain age till Mmudebeàkwándu, Menopause. Why will we bleed you may ask?"
"Anị can we just make the Man, I mean we have the blueprint for him now don't we Nne?"
"Calm down nu, one more thing, we Women, Ụmụ Nwaanyị, we will bleed because the ụlọ àkwá ndu will be ready.
Ọma, the egg, àkwá ndu will have a home, ụnọ àkwá ndu, the ovary which will release an egg after the afọ ndu, the uterus has grown, thickened, and become rich in blood, ọbara and nutrients, edozi. The ụlọ àkwá ndu will release a mature egg, àkwá ndu karaaka on the fourteenth day of okirikiri ọbara ndu (the cycle of the blood of Life/menstrual cycle) which is basically all these things I'm explaining to you right now.
Nne, the àkwá ndu will travel to the afọ ndu to await the fertilizer, the sperm. To be very honest, they'll be many Omili, I mean it's semi liquid so yeah. Our fine Girl will pick just one, sometimes two or any amount she deems pure and safe from the Man which we will make soon, Ọma no vex nu, it's for the best. We want to make sure that Ụmụ mmadụ, Humanity is on the right track as Chineke said is our responsibility."
Ọma crosses her legs and just watches on. "Fine Girl continue, I'm not angry. It's for the best, and they'll be your problem either ways so yeah, take your time, we have nothing to do yet without these people which we're planning for."
"Thanks baby, I love you. Now, if there's no fertilizer, the egg won't continue her journey (pregnancy) and if she won't continue her journey, akpa edo, the corpus luteum which is supposed to support the pregnancy journey will stop producing high levels of Ike mgbo, strength of a Woman/Oestrogen and Ike agbọbia, strength of a Girl teenager/Progesterone."
"Ok?" Ọma nods.
"Nya, because Estrogen and Progesterone dropped suddenly, the strengthened uterine lining, nya elili afọ ndu siri ike will now begin to break down and detach themselves from the wall of the uterus, nya (that is) mgbidi afọ ndu and finally..."
"Chi m, daalu."
"The ọbara, blood and ụmụ mkpuru arụ, tissue from this lining will be pushed out through ọnụ afọ ndu, the cervix and vagina, Mpakọndu, creating the menstrual flow, ije ọbara ndu. The unfertilized egg, àkwá na a chọrọ omili, is microscopic, ọpelu ezigbo mpe when it breaks down, meaning it is not visible to the human eye within the menstrual blood, Ọbara ndu."
"Are you done?" Ọma asks standing up.
"Yes, the bottom line of what I'm saying is that the Man which we will make will be like us. We will give him the power to fertilize our seed of Life, the egg so which is why he will have Amụ, a penis where our Vagina is supposed to be in his body and ihe nwanu, ihe nwanu, ihe nwanu, he's the blueprint for the Masculine gender and..."
"Ani you will be the blueprint for the Feminine gender, the creative gender, the Life giving gender. Like the Aka nni and Aka ekpe. The brain, ubụrụ is cross-wired, the right hemisphere is for creativity, spatial awareness, and divergent thinking and it controls the left side of the body. The left hemisphere is for deep critical and analytical thinking and it controls the right side and we can all have a little of both." Ọma says.
"Creativity requires both the logical, analytical side of the brain, the left and the intuitive, artistic side, the right to work together, so this is how we will make Man so Mmadụ will study the brain and see the similarities and differences of Nwaanyị na Nwọke by understanding the ubụrụ."
"Kedụ ụzọ unu nu?" Ikuku asks, coming in with Anyanwu behind her.
"Sorry for keeping you Girls waiting, Ani and I were discussing the blueprint for the future which we're to birth in right about now." Ọma replies.
"Ikuku, what's the situation on Land?"
"Not good Ani, those creatures, strange beings are destroying the very last bit of what you birthed, and they're coming out in their numbers. And they're pointing to the Moon..."
"But they're coming from here, why can't we see them?" Ọma asks not in the least bothered.
"Ọma, you birthed a massive sparse of water, they're coming from the other sides. Here's not the only road." Ikuku says.
"Ngwa, Ọma, let's hurry up and make this being, we can't spare any more time." Ani says.
Ọma rolls her eyes. "You think?"
"How far, we want to help so that the next generations coming will never do without us. Their Ancestors all came from Water, they can't live without her, air must be compulsory, myself, They should need Anyanwu for sustenance after the Mother, the light she'll provide, Ọma for the moon too to update their psychic abilities and Anị for all the food that'll come from her plus she houses the waters and... Holy Mother of all, Ani what did you do to your self?"
"Ikuku bụtụe, there's no time to explain, but it will do you the world of good to copy her for the meantime." Ọma says.
Ikuku is skeptical but Anyanwu just follows suit.
"Ikuku, just do it for the meantime, I'll explain it to you later." Anyanwu says.
"Anyanwu how do you know what they did? You were with me the entire time..."
"See Ikuku, there's no time, just shape-shift and come assist us biko." Ani says joining hands with the rest two.
They hold hands interlocking fingers forming a semi circle and await Ikuku to join them.
"Ikuku nu."
"Ikuku, gidọzi nu?" Ani asks.
"Ikuku o!"
"Iku..."
"Ok, I've heard." She looks at Ani and copies her. She extends her hands and completes the circle. They shut their eyes and soon a spark of light begins emitting from them all. The forces join together portraying the face of Chineke and rushes to their middle while some bounce off the bodies of the mountains to various locations.
They hear a cough and open up their eyes to behold the dark-skinned, well-built person lying beneath them exactly like Ani had envisioned and Anyanwu delivered. He keeps coughing repeatedly and Ani rushes and begins to press on his chest to ease out excess water and comfort him.
"So we've done it. We've birthed Man, Nwa ọke, the child of the boundaries of the waters. Nwọke." Anyanwu says. "I think I like his form. We go relate later."
Ani is smiling from ear to ear and Ọma is proud of herself. Ikuku is still skeptical. The Man is in Ani's arm resting on her busts. She's kneeling beside his lying body confused and without direction... Yet."
"He's here now, what are we going to use him and do?" Anyanwu asks.
"Well as Chineke said, we call the shots, he takes us there. So, we need him to deal with those creatures so we can begin birthing Mmadụ alright?" Ani says.
"So Amadiọha." They all turn to look at Ani. "Why are y'all looking at me, I just gave him a name, Amadiọha, Father of the people. Anịnne, I myself, will be Mother of the people or Ọgwụgwụ meaning it will have no end."
"I am the Father?" Amadiọha asks.
"Yes, you're the Father and the assistant of us, Women, and your partner, Ani." Ọma says.
He turns to look at Ani. "I am your helper?"
They all nod in agreement. "Right now we need you to go out and defeat some creatures that are not meant to be in existence, you need to eliminate them so that our Life on Earth can begin." Ani says.
"Kamalu, je ṅụọlu anyị ọgụ a!" Ọma says.
"Ọgini bu Kamalu?" Ikuku asks.
"Kamalu is Thunder and Lightening. The short form is Kalu or Kanu."
"Wonderful." Ikuku says.
"So we are to chant a praise to him to ready him for this fight." Ani says. "We must chant repeatedly." They join hands, awaiting Ikuku again, she shrugs and completes it. Amadiọha just states at them from his sitted position.
"Kamalu, je ṅụọlu anyị ọgụ a! Amadiọha ịghanalu anyị agha a! (Kamalu, go and fight this battle for us! Amadiọha do not lose this war for us!)" They begin.
By the fourth one, he rises, fists clenched and ready for action. He swims out as they follow suit still chanting under their breath. Furthermore, he dips his head out of the waters, the first breathe of air. Stopping on his tracks, he shuts his eyes, inhaling again and eventually exhaling. Likewise, he opens his eyes and emerges fully. The deities follow suit. Watching from a distance, they await his first move...
