Episode 1

The sound of my alarm filled my mind, interrupting my once peaceful dream. I open my eyes slightly only to being blinded by the bright morning sun shining through my window. Drowsily I grabbed my phone from the small table that stood by my bed and dismissed my alarm. I riped off my blanket caused a chill to run over my body. But before I was fully awake, I was suddenly startled by my brother burst into my room. Rowan's expression was of a playful puppy.

"Dude, it's ten o'clock in the morning on the weekend. There better be a good reason you felt the need to burst into my room like a madman".

A grim look covered my face. A wide smile spread across Rowan's face as he reached into his pocket, taking out a fifty from the front left pocket of his jeans.

"Mom and dad left us fifty bucks for takeout tonight cause they have to work late."

The annoyance I once felt had faded away with my brother's words. Our parents were often health nuts and would always make weird and disgusting meals for dinner. But the one time the two of us would get to eat junk food was when our parents would feel guilty about working late and leave us money to order out. What made it better was how the amount of money they gave us would tell us how late they would be. Twenty bucks would typically mean they were only going to be a few hours late. Thirty told us it might be an all-nighter. While fifty said they'll be back tomorrow and go ahead and invite a friend over.

"So Light, it's your turn to pick whos coming over. Whos it gonna be". Rowan said suspenseful as he rubbed his hands together dramatically. Rowan and I are Twins born only five minutes apart, but surprisingly we share a lot of the same friends even though we're siblings. I held my chin as if putting a lot of thought into my decision.

"Hm, Jess is out of town with her family this weekend, and I think Dominic has detention today, so how bout Ace."

Rowan clapped his hands cheerfully then said.

"Ok, then ill go ask him if he wants to come over, and you get ready."

We both nod in agreement then go our separate ways. Rowan walked away in the direction of his room, annoyingly leaving my door open. I get up and begin walking towards my door, tripping over a few shirts I had left on my floor from the previse day. After closing my door, I made my way to the closet. I quickly throw on an oversize dark red hoodie with some light blue ripped jeans and finishing off the outfit with a small black chocker. I then threw on a pair of black boots and made my way downstairs.

When I got downstairs, Rowan was already on the couch with a bowl of cereal watching TV. He gave me a quick wave as I walked by then, returned his attention to the TV. When I walked into the kitchen, the cereal and milk were still on the counter from Rowan. I quickly made myself a bowl of cereal and joined my brother on the couch.

"Have you heard back from Ace yet?".

"Oh yeah, he said he would be able to hang out, and BTW he's on his way over now."

Nodding in acknowledgment, I set my attention from my brother to the TV.
