His Boyfriend

The next day Taehyung was super nervous. He knew that even though Ava gave her permission, she didn't have the will to accept his boyfriend that easily.

However, it was a matter of family. Sure enough, it was an important thing for her.

Taehyung was ordered to invite his boyfriend to dinner at his parents' place. So Taehyung dropped Ava off there and went to pick up his boyfriend.

Seojoon and his wife, Sohee also super excited to see the one who made their son's rock heart melt. Ava was even more excited than them. She was expecting to see him ever since she realised her dad loves him. And also the feeling she got after thinking she would be able to get a family made her happy.

When these three were waiting for the pair of lovers, the lovers were super nervous. Taehyung didn't give their parents any clue about his boyfriend. So they didn't even know what he looked like. So he was afraid thinking they would be disappointed after seeing him if that was not the image they were thinking.

However, Taehyung had to do it. So he arrived at the place with his boyfriend.

"Are you okay? Don't be nervous. Be brave. I love you."

Taehyung said while getting out of the car.

"What are you talking about? I am not the nervous one. It's you. Be brave. I love you."

At first, it was a cold voice. But when the voice continued it became a little playful.

"Huh! You are right. You know how to joke... Aah? Ha ha."

Taehyung laughed through the nervousness. He felt a little relaxed hearing his lover's playful voice which was cold all the time.

"Let's go. Don't worry. I won't mess up."

After hearing those words, Taehyung held his hand and went inside. When they entered, all the servants looked at their way from the corners of their eyes. They also wanted to know the appearance of the person who got to become his lover.

While all the people relieved their curiosities, they understood that being handsome was a must. The person who followed Taehyung was super handsome and their eyes almost popped out.

But all of them had the same thought when they saw this couple.

"They are a good match!"

When they arrived in the living room, the family was waiting for them. The next moment their eyes caught the person behind Taehyung, they rushed to the couple.

"Hello, I am-" The person behind Taehyung came in front and politely introduced himself. But suddenly he stopped and his eyes were on the girl who was staring at him with an unknown expression.

"N- Nothing... I am sorry. My name is Jungkook. I am working as a professor on the city campus."

Taehyung's lover introduced himself, impressing his parents.

Yes! That's the Mr Cold, Jungkook of the city campus. He was the boyfriend of Taehyung.

Taehyung's parents immediately decided to give their permission for them to get married.

Taehyung realised one thing. Just like how he fell for Jungkook, his family was also in love with him. He felt relaxed seeing his parents kindly approach Jungkook.

"Come and sit. We can talk more before we take dinner."

Taehyung's mom invited Jungkook over and had a talk with him. Surprisingly, Jungkook became so close with them soon and Taehyung felt like he was the stranger here, not Jungkook.

'He doesn't even talk that much. How did he manage to be that close?"

Taehyung was surprised that his mind was wandering everywhere while counting the times when Jungkook talked with him so openly.

"Dad, Is he the person you told?"

Ava asked him. He patted her and nodded while confirming that she was right.

"You don't like him?"

For a moment, Taehyung's heart thumped. But he wanted to know it.

'If she doesn't like then it won't be easy.'

"No, I like him. Actually, I have met him before..." Ava told him everything. Even all the things Jungkook said at that moment.

Taehyung was speechless.

Taehyung wanted to ask Jungkook because Jungkook didn't even bother to tell him about that scene. But he really did pick a fight with a child!

Jungkook wanted Ava to change. He wanted Ava to be happy unlike him. He didn't want Ava to be a person who doesn't know the true value of happiness. He wanted to make her happy and see the happiness through her sincere smile. So he could at least relieve thinking he helped someone to change.

A sudden smile appeared on Jungkook's face.

When his lips were curved, Taehyung's mouth was wide open in shock.

'He can really smile.'

That was the second time ever he saw Jungkook smiling with such a warming look.

He felt like his heart was about to burst.

"Let's have dinner."

Seojoon said and the family got dinner together.

All the time, Jungkook didn't get to talk with Ava. But he didn't have a rush. Ava also didn't. They had the same way of thinking. Just too similar! In the future, their family could be the happiest family for sure since these three people had a better understanding of each other.

When the dinner was finished, Seojoon suddenly threw a question at Taehyung.

"How did you meet him?"

Taehyung didn't want to tell that. Actually, that was a long story. He was bored of telling everything.

"We met at an art exhibition. A lot of things happened. Then we got together and became a couple."

He shortly described the long story.

"How long has it been?"

Then another question for him.

"What is this? I thought everything was okay!!"

He panicked but answered immediately.

"Eight months... Yeah, maybe seven I think."

He even slipped on his own words but managed to answer under his dad's gaze.

Actually, Seojoon was just teasing Taehyung. He didn't expect him to be so serious. The people at the table laughed secretly and then stopped playing around.

Since it was late, Taehyung decided to drop Jungkook at his place. And promised that he would bring him there again to talk about further things. Then they were allowed to leave. When Jungkook came back, Ava and Taehyung were also on their way home after dropping him off.

"Dad! Tell him to live with us. So I can show him to my friends."

Ava said without hesitating.

"Ah? Why do you have to show him?"

Taehyung was confused. He knew that his classmates were bullying her for not having a mom. Since she hated having a strange woman as her mom, Taehyung had no choice but to give up finding a mom for her.

But telling them she has a new dad also can't change anything, right?

"He is more handsome than anyone I have seen. My classmates will die out of jealousy."

Taehyung was speechless.

Taehyung was distracted thinking about Jungkook's beauty. Ava saw that her dad was laughing alone like a fool. But she knew he was thinking about Jungkook.

"I saw in a drama that people go crazy because of love. This is the first symptom. Laughing alone like a fool."

She said while covering her mouth with that tiny hand. She tried so hard to hold her laugh because his face was really funny.

"I won't let you watch those dramas again. Just watch cartoons. No Kdrama anymore".

Taehyung played the strict dad role out of embarrassment.

"I see." She didn't seem to take it to heart.

That was not the first time he said that. So she did not react much.

The dad and daughter pair were satisfied with the things that happened that day.

After arriving home, they fell asleep together while having sweet dreams about their future family.
