Breakfast… or Battlefield?

Morning in the mansion was… quiet.

Too quiet.

The kind of silence that usually meant peace.

Or—

something had gone terribly wrong.

In the grand dining hall, the table was already set.

Perfectly arranged.

Elegant.

Untouched.

Kim Seokjin stood there, arms crossed, inspecting everything like a strict mother.

“No one touches anything until everyone is here,” he said firmly.

“Hyung, it’s breakfast, not a military briefing,” Park Jimin sighed, taking a seat.

“Same thing,” Jin replied.

Across the table, Min Yoongi sipped his coffee lazily, while Kim Namjoon read something on his tablet.

Jung Hoseok walked in, stretching. “Did anyone check on the kid?”

“Locked. Secured. Not our problem,” Namjoon answered calmly.

“Good,” Jeon Jungkook muttered, though his eyes flickered slightly.

Meanwhile—

Upstairs.

In a locked room.

A certain “prisoner” sat cross-legged on the bed…

grinning like a villain in a cartoon.

Kim Taehyung held something in his hands.

A small smuggled treasure he had conveniently not been checked for.

“Let’s make this place lively,” he whispered.

Back in the dining hall—

Jin lifted the lid of the main dish.

“Perfect,” he nodded proudly.

Jimin reached for a bite.

Hoseok grabbed juice.

Namjoon finally put his tablet down.

Yoongi blinked slowly.

Jungkook stretched his hand toward the plate—

And then—

BANG!!!

A loud popping sound exploded from the table.

“WHAT THE—”

Hoseok jumped.

Jimin screamed.

Jungkook nearly flipped his chair.

Jin dropped the spoon.

Namjoon froze.

Yoongi… spilled coffee.

Silence.

Then—

tiny bits of confetti… started falling from the dish.

Confetti.

From breakfast.

“…what,” Namjoon said flatly.

Jimin stared at the food like it had betrayed him. “Is this… a joke?”

Hoseok blinked. “Did the eggs just… explode happiness?”

Yoongi wiped his hand slowly. “I hate this house.”

Jungkook looked around, eyes narrowing.

“…him.”

Upstairs—

Taehyung pressed his ear to the door.

Listening.

Then—

he burst into silent laughter, covering his mouth.

“Hit,” he whispered proudly.

A few minutes later—

The door to his room slammed open.

Taehyung turned dramatically, gasping.

“Oh wow! Visitors! I was getting bored.”

Namjoon stepped in, aura cold enough to freeze the room.

“You think this is funny?”

Taehyung tilted his head innocently. “You didn’t like my welcome gift?”

Jimin crossed his arms. “You messed with our food.”

“Correction,” Taehyung raised a finger, “I improved your boring life.”

Hoseok scoffed. “You’re unbelievable.”

“Thank you,” Tae beamed.

Yoongi leaned against the wall, watching.

Silent.

Observing.

Jungkook stepped closer. “Where did you even get that?”

Taehyung smirked.

“Trade secret.”

Namjoon’s patience snapped slightly. “You’re not here to play games.”

Taehyung walked closer—too close.

Fearless.

“Then don’t make it so easy to have fun,” he whispered.

The room went still.

Dangerous.

But Tae just turned away casually, stretching.

“So… breakfast ruined, my bad. Now I’m hungry.”

Jin blinked. “You’re asking for food?”

Taehyung looked at him like it was obvious.

“Well yeah. You kidnapped me, not starved me. Be professional.”

Hoseok choked.

Jimin turned away, hiding a laugh.

Namjoon pinched the bridge of his nose.

Yoongi’s lips twitched.

Jungkook just stared.

Minutes later—

Taehyung sat at the dining table.

Like he owned it.

Humming.

Swinging his legs.

While six mafia kings… watched him.

Annoyed.

Confused.

Slightly murderous.

Tae took a bite.

Paused.

“…hmm.”

Jin narrowed his eyes. “What.”

Taehyung looked up.

Dead serious.

“This is kinda mid.”

Silence.

Jin: “MID???”

Jimin: “You’re gonna die.”

Hoseok: “Say your last words.”

Namjoon: “I won’t stop them.”

Yoongi: “…I agree with him.”

Jin: “YOONGI??”

Taehyung grinned, completely unbothered.

“This is fun,” he said, looking around at all of them.

And for a second—

something shifted.

Because this boy—

was laughing.

In a place where no one ever did.

Jungkook leaned back slightly, eyes still on Tae.

“…he’s not normal.”

Yoongi murmured softly—

“No.”

“…he’s trouble.”

Taehyung took another bite, smiling to himself.

“Let’s see how long you last,” he whispered under his breath.
