IS A LIE

The sun is up the ground is down

opposites attract but not a soul around

hate is strong but love is simple

that's just wrong just like that pimple

it's all a lie that's just life

just like how your childhood froggy ran away

how grandmama crossed over the river

that's just what life likes to say

so toughen up, or toughen up

a cookie today a cake tomorrow

a comforting trust this week a broken lie next

a love so sweet but a heart just borrowed

RAIN AND THUNDER

Left in the rain cold and drenched

just tears / pain and time frozen on this lone bench

the thunder rumbles

my heart grumbles

with that trust shatter and crumbled

I got my vodka in hand, no matter how much stumble

I won't have you make me fall

Imma fight I'mma stand tall

im not inferior to you at all

so when you comeback begging for more,

go meet your side chick in the bathroom stall

cause this is my rain this is my thunder

if you think I'm in pain you've made a big blunder

cause now I'm free to live I'm living my life

how Ive always wished now I feel just right

bathing in the sunny day

bathing in the river down lane

I got a smile plaster on face

but on the inside Imma bout to break

my emotions

theyre broken

seeing me as trash

this ain't rash

they say Im slow

they say I'm lazy

but what do they know

what i am is crazy

with the rats and dogs,

and kitty cats

I got plenty of conversation

just waiting

for me to show up

for me to be the other half

so dont leave them waiting

come and join this laugh

I gotta keep waiting

to bad I'm single, then I'd be mating

so fun to roll around the sheets

so fun to hear his husky voice or her patite

who do ya like choose carefully

he or she gotta be just right for you

to live happily to live full of joy
