...Win Metawin's POV...

"We are sorry, okay?"

"We got scared as hell, you know how strict that old man is."

"And he didn't even embarrassed you more, right?"

"What's the point of giving us silent treatments?"

I sigh and stopped walking to look at my very good friends.

"Stop shouting can you? My eardrums were hurt." I groan in annoyance as I look back at them.

Khao patted my shoulders. "We got scared, forgive us."

"Forgive this coward friends of yours." JJ added.

I sigh and closed my eyes. How did I ended up being friends with them again?

I can't believe I spent my college life with them for almost two years now.

The fact that Pluem studied abroad, I thought I'll have a more peaceful life, but no, it was no different from a year ago.

"Fine forget it, but I cannot really go with you tonight."

The both of them sigh in relief, I'm not really mad at them, I got used being in trouble because of them.

In exchange, they also got in trouble because of me.

But mostly, it was me who was in trouble.

"That's alright, we understand." JJ smiled while Khao nodded in agreement. "But if you got bored while studying, meet us in the same bar, same table."

I chuckled at his remarks. "Fine fine." they laughed.

"Alright, see you tomorrow." Khao waved at me goodbye before they started running away from me.

I shook my head, we couldn't really act like college students.

Looking ahead, I started walking again, gripping my backpack as I walk towards my meeting place with P'Toptap.

I am in the second year college along with my friends as you can see. We are studying in this international college at Bangkok, where the richest of the richest studies.

Well, I think I'm not really rich, only my parents. I prefer living a normal life, struggling and having a hard time sometimes.

I tried living on my own, and it's damn frustrating.

I was really tired everyday, but my parents still send me money almost every week as a payment of studying Economics.

Yes, I don't really like my course, I've been studying this for two years but I still couldn't see the beauty of it.

All I wanted was to study at the Faculty of Architecture, if I could only do that.

I turn to my left when I notice some movement, I saw someone looking at me behind the huge walls of the corridors.

The universe might be huge, but I always caught this guy looking at me whenever I'm here at the university.

I don't know what's his problem with me for the past year but he never really approached me. I was just waiting for him to come and face me.

As far as I know he's in the same year of mine. I don't know what's his faculty and he is not connected in any of my circle of friends.

I refused to call him my stalker since he is not doing anything to me even when I'm alone.

I just shrug it off like usual. Maybe it's always coincidence that we happen to see each other almost everyday.

"Ouch! Sorry P!" I snapped off my thoughts as I looked down on a freshmen who I happened to bump into.

His books fell into the ground.

I kneel down and helped him. "Are you okay?" I asked, he started dusting off his clothes.

"'I am okay P', and I'm sorry." he smiled awkwardly while scratching the back of his head.

I shook my head and smiled at him slightly. "No, it was me who didn't notice you."

Then I gave him his books, but my eyebrows wrinkled when I read the title of the books he was reading. "Wait. You study Architecture?" I asked.

He adjusted his glasses and nodded at me. "Yes P, I am in my freshmen year."

I nodded, gapping my mouth slightly open and smiled. "Ohh good to know. You know I really wanted to study Architecture, but I couldn't. So don't waste your opportunity and study hard okay?" I pat his shoulders as he nodded at me.

I just wish I could be like him. Studying any course I wanted.

"I will. It was always been my dream." he smiled and I smiled back. "Anyway, P?" his wrinkled thinking of what to call me.

So I chuckled. "Win." I introduced my name.

He smile. "P'Win thank you for helping me. My name's Phukong." then he reached out his hands for me to shake.

I was about to shake his hands when someone pushed Phukong away from me. "GET OFF!"

My eyes widen at Drake. What the hell is wrong with him?

I quickly glance at Phukong, good thing he didn't fall. "Drake, what are you doing?" I asked.

He glared at Phukong. "Why are you talking to someone like him P?" he pointed at the poor boy. "Don't you know that poor people like him could take advantage of you?"

I annoyingly sigh at him. "What? I just helped him pick up his books." He's being paranoid again.

This is what happened when you were used by someone you used to love. Love really makes people stupid.

"Drake calm down." I said, but his glare never left Phukong who was standing behind me.

"Phukong, let's go." I turned around to see the unfamiliar owner of the voice.

My eyes widen to see the man who used to stare at me for the last year.

Just earlier he was looking at me from the huge walls. But I never expected to see him this close.

We are about the same height, or maybe I was a bit taller. His face is always expressionless, his eyes were cold as the ice.

His gaze met mine, he didn't show any reaction. He just stared at me for a good few seconds then he diverted his eyes back to Phukong.

I could tell that we was an introvert, I never saw him with anyone before.

His skin was white, he looks really quiet, and he was handsome.

I was so stunned to see him.

They were about to walk away when I called. "Phukong!" he looked back at me. "Do you know him?" I gestured to the guy holding his arms.

The person looked down at him, while Phukong smile and nodded at me.

"Yes P, he is my brother, Sarawat." that explain why he immediately walked towards here.

I nodded and let them walk away. What on the world is that?

Is it coincidence again? That the person I bumped to happened to be the guy's little brother who I always caught staring at me.

"P'Win, don't ever talk to them again. Can't you see how they look like? They can't be trusted." I sigh and turn to look at Drake. "I bet they study here because of scholarship. "

I shook my head at his remarks. I know that some commoner broke his heart before, but it has nothing to do with all the poor students who study here.

I just happened to bump the person. Nothing more, nothing less.

I decided not to argue with him. "Where's P'Toptap?" I asked changing the topic.

He sigh at me. His eyebrows being furious again. "We've been waiting for you."

"Ahhh Winnnnn, I'm soooo tireddddd. I don't want to study anymoreeeee." Good thing my ears doesn't bleed due to P'Gun's screamings.

He was only sitting beside me, I don't know why does he had to scream.

I chuckled at him. "P, it was supposed to be just me and P'Toptap, why are you even here?" I asked him writing something on my notebook.

I asked P'Toptap to tutor me, but his rich, openly gay friend tagged along.

He pouted, "I wanted to study too." he explained and I nodded. I don't buy it.

"He's here to see you." P'Toptap teased while shaking his head.

Just as I thought.

P'Gun throw crumpled papers at him. "You're bad for exposing me." he glared. But then he looked back at me, "Win, let's go out? I'm tired of studying."

I chuckled and shook my head, but then I checked my wrist watch. We've been studying for three hours, a good time wouldn't hurt.

So in the end, the three of us agreed to go to the bar. I asked them to go to the usual bar my squad hangs out often, but when we get there, I didn't see Khaotung or JJ.

"Weird, we usually sit here." I pointed at the vacant table in the middle in front of the small stage.

I looked around, everyone was having a good time but I couldn't see those two.

"'Maybe they went home?" P'Gun screamed due to the loud music inside.

Looks like they already went home since it was passed 9 pm at night.

"Yeah, look at your friend's IG story." then P'Toptap showed me how my two best friends giggled while driving in the middle of the night.

I just shrug it off and we started having a good time. I just really hope they won't crash that car in a wall.

"Cheers" the three of us yelled as we raised our glasses in the air.

"Bottom's up!" P'Gun yelled and so we did.

I groan, I really hate the taste of the liquor. It burns my throat, and it's bitter, but it feels good.

We've been here for like almost an hour. I started to feel dizzy but I could still see and think straight.

P'Gun was the worst, he was saying something I couldn't understand. Laughing and giggling like crazy.

And P'Toptap was chilling in front of me. He was not as drunk as the two of us.

"I-I'll go to the b-bathroom." I excused myself and stood up, but P'Gun hold my hand.

"I'll go with you." I know he won't shut up so I let him.

P'Toptap also stood up. "I'll guide you both, I'll be your babysitter for tonight." he teased and hold the both of us in his shoulders.

I chuckled too. "I'm no baby." I complained.

But I felt that I was being showered with cold water as I saw one man wearing a cap. He looks normal, but the gun inside his jacket is what made my heart race.

I stopped walking, then I turn to P'Toptap who didn't seem to notice.

I looked back at the man, he was bravely meeting my gaze, then he smirked at me.

At that moment I knew, he was after us. Maybe me, maybe P'Gun or P'Toptap, but that man is certainly after one of us.

"P! We have to get out of here." I whispered to Toptap, the seriousness in my voice made him alarmed.

He nodded at me. "I don't know why Win. But I felt something's not good."

So we walked in the different path from the bathroom. We tried slapping P'Gun who is sleeping while we are walking.

"'Wake up P!"

"Wake up you sucker!"

He only groaned at us. I look back to see the man, and he is following us despite of the flood of people all over the bar.

"Win, is that the person?" P'Toptap asked, he also looked back. I nodded then we walked faster.

I suddenly felt that the dizziness was replaced by fear. One thing I hate about being rich, you are prone to criminals.

If he was after our money, I could give it right away.

When we were already outside the bar, we quickly made our way into the car only to found out that someone stab the wheels with knife.

P'Toptap immediately let go of P'Gun once he saw how huge the hole is in the wheels. The poor boy fall in the ground.

"Damn, how are we going to get away?" P'Toptap asked.

P'Gun who happened to be at the ground stood up and groan. "And why the hell do you have to push me?" he whined.

"P'Gun, someone is following us. They are armed with guns." I whispered and that sent him to silent panics.

His eyes widen in shock. "What are we standing for? Let's go." then he pulled us towards the dark long alley, at the end of it was a main road.

It was a shortcut, not even a car or motorcycle could fit. You have to pass here by feet.

"We can take a cab from there." P'Toptap said in enthusiasm.

I sigh in relief. We are going to made it. I hope we could made it.

But my body shook in horror when we heard gunshots following from behind.

"Shia!" I cursed and so we pushed each other to run fast in that alley.

"Run faster!"

"Don't look back!"

When we reached the end of the alley, there is no cars or vehicles passing by.

What a good timing.

"Hell what are we gonna do now?" P'Gun yelled in panic. We cannot run from anywhere.

"P'Win?" I looked beside me, Phukong was standing there along with his P'Sarawat.

I was shocked to see them, their eyes widen as they see us too.

"Quick, help us! Someone wanted to harm us." I said panicking as I glance at the dark alley, almost three men were running to follow us.

They are like hunters hunting us holding guns in their hands.

Phukong and Sarawat didn't said anything. They are just staring at me.

I almost stood there frozen, unable to move, as Phukong removed his glasses.

No. This can't be.

"Frank, go get the car." Sarawat said that sent me into confusion.

What the hell is he saying? Who? Phukong nodded and walked away leaving us.

The last thing I remembered, I felt a syringe into my neck and my vision started to blurry.

"Mission accomplished, we already have them."
