THE STAINS THAT REMAIN

PANEL 1 Setting: The nursery, the morning after the attack. Yellow police tape is visible through the window. Visual: MIA (looking pale and clutching her pregnant belly) stares at the doll sitting in the crib. JOHN (in his medical scrubs) stands behind her, looking tired but trying to be supportive. MIA: John, I know it’s silly. But after last night... seeing her there... JOHN: The police returned her, honey. It’s just a doll. Annabelle Higgins is gone.

PANEL 2 Visual: Extreme Close-up of the ANNABELLE DOLL. The blood from the previous night is gone, but there is a faint, glistening trail under the left eye that looks like a dried tear. CAPTION (Mia’s inner thought): She saw me.

PANEL 3 Visual: Mia is in the hallway, pointing frantically at a section of the wall where a faint, reddish-brown RUNE is visible. John is standing by, holding a cleaning cloth, looking skeptical. MIA: I swear I saw it, John! Right there! The cult symbol! JOHN: Mia, there’s nothing. Just some dust. You need to rest.

PANEL 4 Visual: (Nighttime) The nursery is dark, lit only by a cold moon. The doll is sitting perfectly still, but the lighting makes its smile look wider, more predatory. CAPTION (Mia’s inner thought): Or am I seeing things?

PANEL 5 Visual: Extreme close-up of the doll’s eye. Inside the glass iris, we see tiny, fractured red veins that weren't there before. The "innocent" blue is being drowned out by a bruised, demonic pink. CAPTION: The change has begun.

Scene: Mia is alone in the living room, surrounded by packing boxes. The rare vintage doll from Episode 1 is prominently displayed. She holds the Annabelle doll (identical to its original appearance from image_0.png) close, her expression strained and anxious. Dialogue (Mia): "John says it’s the trauma. The 'mind playing tricks.' But I can feel it... the air changes when she’s in the room."

PANEL 2 Scene: Close-up on the living room phone, which rings with a loud, jarring sound. Mia jumps, reaching for the receiver. SFX: BRRRRING! Dialogue (Mia): "John? Is that you?" Dialogue (Phone Voice - Distortion): "...not... enough... blood..."

PANEL 3 Scene: Mia stands in shock, holding the receiver away from her ear. The camera is positioned behind her, looking toward the end of a long hallway. The Annabelle doll, which was just in her lap, is now sitting at the far end of the hallway, perfectly upright on the floor. Dialogue (Mia): "(Shouting) How?! I was just holding you!" SFX: KRRR-CHHHH!

PANEL 4 Scene: The nursery door is open. The rocking chair is moving violently back and forth, but it is empty. The doll is now sitting in the chair, its head tilted at a sharp, unnatural angle, staring directly at Mia. Dialogue (Mia): "Leave us alone! Get out of my house!" Dialogue (Doll - Silent): (Vacant, glassy-eyed stare).

PANEL 5 Scene: Extreme close-up on Mia’s face, crying but showing a spark of defiance. In the intense reflection of her pupils, we see the distorted, tall, clawed shadow of a demon standing immediately behind her. Dialogue (Mia): "I’m not crazy. I know what you are." Caption: "The silence is the loudest scream."
