The prince walked along the man made lake that was filled with water lilies and clear water that add natures charm to the palace and then the palace magnificent golden doors came into veiw

He walked up to the door and the guards announced him.

“His highness, prince zephran axel mooncreet , first son of his majesty and his personal guard, Adrian Roslone.”

The door open to show a longer corridor that had marble walls and tiles. High wall that seemed never ending and diamond chandelier hanging in rows.

The prince walked into the corridor and made his way to the throne room which had same massive doors.

The guards there also announced him and a voice inside responded

“Let him in.”

The prince could recognize that voice even in his sleep.

His father….

King Hendrick

The door opened and he walked in.

Lots of dukes and ministers wher present as usual and his brothers.:…..

Prince Aldrich and prince Jephta

Zephran walked up to where his father was seated and bowed

“Long live the king.”

King Hendrick looked at his first born son with a spaced out look and then he turned his head without answering his greeting.

“Lord collin, you may proceed.” He said to the man standing beside him.

Lord collin walked forward with a decree scroll in his hand and cleared his throat.

“Revive the decree of the king.” He said

Prince zephran knelt with one knee and placed his right hand on his chest as a sign of acceptance.

“ i receive his majesty’s decree.” He pledged.

“By the power invested in him, his majesty, Hendrick the second, Bruno mooncrest, by the kings before him; you, zephran axel mooncrest, first born son of the king are to marry lady Ophelia Rozala Ellington in one week time.”

The hall went silent after the decree as prince zephran just looked at his father instead of accepting the decree.

The king was also looking at him with unbothered gaze as thou he couldn’t care less.

“We’re you expecting me to get a princess for you? Too bad she’s the only one willing to accept you.” The king said with mockery.

Prince zephran clenched his fist while looking at him but he didn’t utter a word.

“Brother, you’d better seize this chance. Age is not on your side.” A man with blue eyes and blonde hair said.

He was prince Aldrich , second son of the king and also the crown prince.

Beside him was a man of similar look, except this man was more feminine in appearance and he had longer blonde hair and looked more handsome. He is prince jephta.

Prince zephran closed his eyes and then said “I receive the decree.”

Not because he couldn’t refuse it, but because he decided too give up on his father…….

He stood up, took the decree and walked out of the throne room without greeting his father.

Aldrich immediately jumped on this

“ what impudence !!! He deserves too be flogged.” He shouted while walking towards him

“Come back. Let him go.” The king said “court has been adjourned.”

Zephran walked into his manor with anger and rage ….

“Making me fight on battlefield all my life wasn’t enough, now he’s forcing his person into my life to watch my every move?” He stressed

“ calm down your highness. Maybe he’s just looking after you.”Adrian said even though his face said otherwise.

“ yeah right, that woman better refuse or………”
