clarity!!

Then Seo-yun helps Hye-jin get down and says, “Be careful—don’t keep falling.”

After that, they continue studying normally.

Just then, Hye-jin’s phone suddenly rings,

Her expression shifts the moment she sees the caller’s name—Yun-ji.

As she answers, a trembling voice comes from the other side, filled with panic.

“Hye-jin… please help me. I’m outside the campus… please…”

Then call hang...

Flustered, she quickly gathers her things and looks at him, her voice unsteady.

“Senior… I have to go right now. I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye… and I’m sorry.”

Without waiting for a reply, Hye-jin rushes out, her heart pounding as she heads straight toward Yun-ji.

A moment later, Seo-jun watches her leave—then quietly follows after her.

As she reached near the campus, her steps suddenly slowed.

There, she saw Yun-ji lying on the ground and crying out in pain.

The sight made her heart drop instantly.

She rushes to his side, kneeling beside him, her voice filled with worry.

“What happened to you? Are you okay?”

Yun-ji winces in pain, holding his stomach tightly.

“I… I don’t know. Suddenly my stomach started hurting, and then I just collapsed…”

Hye-jin’s expression hardens with concern.

“No, we’re going to the hospital right now. I don’t want to hear anything else.”

But Yun-ji shakes his head weakly.

“No… let’s just go home for now…”

As she struggles to help him up and take him home, a familiar voice stops her.

Seo-yun rushes toward them, concern evident on his face.

“What happened to him?”

Hye-jin quickly explains everything, her words hurried and anxious.

After hearing her, Seo-yun nods without hesitation.

“I’ll help you.”

They manage to bring him all the way to the gate of his house, supporting him carefully.

As they stop there, Yun-ji leans slightly against the gate, still in pain, and looks at Seo-yun.

“Seo-yun… you should go now. Hye-jin will take care of me.”

As Hye-jin turns back to open the gate, Yun-ji suddenly looks at Seo-yun and gives a slight smirk.

Leaning a little closer, he quietly whispers,

“Stay away.”

Seo-jun’s expression instantly changes, his eyes darkening slightly.

He leans in just enough, his voice low but firm as he whispers back,

“No way.”

Just then, Hye-jin opens the gate and turns to Seo-yun with a small, grateful smile.

“Thank you.”

Without suspecting anything, she helps Yun-ji inside.

As they step in, Yun-ji glances back one more time—his lips curling into a teasing smirk as his eyes meet Seo-yun’s again.

Inside the house, Hye-jin carefully helps him sit down on the sofa.

“Stay here,” she says softly, still worried. “I’ll make some soup… maybe it’ll help.”

After a while, she brings the soup and carefully helps Yun-ji drink it.

Sitting beside him, she looks at him seriously.

“Now tell me… what happened from the beginning?”

Yun-ji sighs and starts explaining everything—how the pain began, how he ended up collapsing… and then casually mentions that he had come to the library too, and what he saw there.

A faint, teasing smile appears on his lips as he looks at her.

“By the way… what’s going on between you two?”

Hye-jin’s eyes widen in shock, her expression turning flustered.

“What? No way, There’s nothing like that,” she says quickly.

“He was just helping me… and anyway, I don’t even like him.”

Yun-ji lets out a relieved breath, as if a weight has been lifted.

“Yeah… anyway, he’s not even your type,” he says casually.

Hye-jin raises an eyebrow, crossing her arms.

“Oh really? Then who is my type?” she asks, leaning a little closer.

“…Is it you?”

A playful grin spreads across Yun-ji’s face.

“Well… I am handsome, I know,” he says lightly.

“But we shouldn’t look at people who are out of our league.”

Hye-jin rolls her eyes, clearly done with his teasing.

"I’m leaving now,” she says, grabbing her things.

Without waiting for his reply, she turns and walks out, heading straight to her home.

As soon as she leaves, Yun-ji leans back on the sofa, a small smirk returning to his face.

“Whatever you say… but she makes really good soup,” he mutters to himself with a soft hum.

His expression then turns slightly serious, eyes narrowing a bit.

“But now… I’ll have to keep an eye on that Seo-yun.”

Next day at school

When she reaches school, she notices that the whole place is decorated. There are decorations everywhere, and the atmosphere feels a bit festive.

Then, when she enters the classroom, she sees some students preparing for a speech. Feeling confused, she asks Min-ji, “What’s going on?”

Min-ji replies, “Today is a teacher’s retirement, that’s why all this is happening. And yes, we’ve been assigned volunteer duty—we have to manage the other students.”

Hearing this, Hye-jin is shocked. “What? But who gave our names?”

Min-ji casually says, “I did… who else would?”

Hye-jin just stares at her for a moment, but then both of them get back to their work.

After a while, a teacher calls Hye-jin and asks her to bring an antique piece from the storeroom. Hye-jin feels a bit hesitant, but she agrees and heads toward the storeroom.

As she opens the door, a faint dusty smell greets her, and the room looks dim. She slowly steps inside… but suddenly stops—

Because Seo-yun is already there.

Then she thinks she will ignore him, but Seo-yun says,

“Did you do the homework I gave you?”

Then hye-jin said annoyingly

“This isn’t the time for that. I need to take this stuff.”

Then Seo-yun says, “Should I help you?”

Hye-jin replies, “No, I’ll do it myself.”

Then Seo-yun says, “Oh really? With that short height, will you even be able to reach… shorty?”

Then she says, “Don’t talk too much, okay?”

She drags over a small stool and climbs onto it, balancing carefully. Stretching her arm as far as she can, she reaches for the item—

…but still falls short. Just two inches away.

Seeing that, Seo-yun lets out a soft laugh and teases,

“Well? Done already? You’re seriously that short, huh?”

She huffs under her breath, determination flashing in her eyes.

“Huh… now I have to get it, no matter what.”

Then he says, with a slight smirk,

“Let’s see… just be careful, don’t drop it.”

Just as she’s about to take it out, her hand slips. The antique piece falls straight down and shatters on the floor.

She freezes for a second, then blurts out,

“Oh shit… it fell!”

Seo-yun sighs, shaking his head slightly.

“Well… great. You did it.”
