The moon was already half way up. The town asleep like usual, unaware of them tension going on between these streets, these valleys. The sound of footsteps growing more and more as I hold the key in my hand bringing it to my pocket. As soon as the muffled voices were right outside the door, everything light in the room went blank. 

"Where is it? Where is the damn key?! Find it or we are dead" The man in brown jacket panicked as his side chicks started looking for the key. Looking for me. I was already up, in the vent that was an easy escape route to get out of this building. I crawled to the right, keeping my movements as low as possible. Several men are searching me. For what? For this precious key that I just stole. Well, I am not a thief, just need it to open something. After crawling for 20 minutes I jumped down. I checked the hallway for any sign of guards.  "Sneha? All clear, start the timer" I commanded to the person I am on call with, My friend as well as my partner in crime. Sneha Aggarwal, a hitech programmer as well as an expert hacker for handling all my crime. "All done. You have 10 minutes to execute it. Please.... Just make sure he is fine." She replied from the other side, her voice firm but lacking her usual. I know her tension. "I will, trust me" My movements were swift, untraceable as I moved towards the locker room. The security cameras are already in our control, thanks to Sneha but only for 10 minutes. The camera won't record me. I moved towards the room, unlocking it with the key I stole. The door opens with a click and I entered quietly only to be stuck by the sight in front of me.

"A... Amy?" The man in front of me, chained to the wall, brutally beaten up, his skin pealed, blood flowing like water from an open tap, teeth broken. At the sight of him, it's clear he has been hanged there for days. "Kabir" my voice firm but not fully harsh. I walked over to him, his eyes and face swollen, looking up at me with eyes that if hope. "What have they done to you?" I looked at him, sitting on my knees to check him for all the injury done to him. "It's nothing, besides I knew that you would come for me. My sister isn't that weak to let them live peacefully for doing this to me." He said with a weak smug expression that even was costing him pain. I signed, pulling out a cutter from my vest to free him from the chains. "We will have to hurry. The can is waiting for you outside in the backside. Team is down, I will break the window and let you jump first." Cuts off his chains. He traced his skin and looked at me with confusion. "What about you?" He asked as I helped him stand up and lead him to the back window. "Someone needs a lesson to be taught that No one messes with me, specially my family." He looked at me and gave a weak, defeated smile knowing that he can't argue with me.

"Alright. Be back soon, you know the condition at house" My hand clenched into my fist at the reminder of the situation. "Yeah, I will" I broke the window, my team waiting downstairs as Kabir jumped off, landing of the set of mattress set there by the team. The act caused the alarm to go wild as I could hear footsteps approaching. Now it's time.
