EVAN POV

I've had a fit to sit down for the morning, who wouldn't be upset if that Kairos face was what I saw immediately.

"My beautiful Evan, did you sleep well?" he asked me with a smile

My eyebrows went up.

"Does this make me angry? I see that he left me last night even though I'm so dizzy then he will ask questions like that", I said as my mind wandered

I didn't answer him and started eating.

He didn't follow through with what he had to say and immediately pushed me away.

"I just felt guilty so I hugged you back but I will never respond with I LOVE YOU TOO to you"

After saying those words he walked away and left me alone. Instead of being sad I was even happier.

He's obviously falling over, not wanting to admit it. I'll take him up on it just in case . But it's okay, I like that you make him even more challenging. He's not like other omega, he's brave and sassy that's why I like him.

EVAN POV

AT THE BAR

"Bro, musta married life?" asked Zack

"Don't ask about it, I get a hissy fit when I remember" I replied and drank some wine

"You're right, you said that you are not okay with your marriage because you don't love him. Maybe that's why you just went to the bar on your honeymoon too" no? "Ryle asked suddenly

I stopped and remembered what had happened last night. I didn't realize it, but my cheeks were already turning red.

"You're a badass, you're an omega" he promised with a grin and tried to slap me

Just as he was about to slap me, someone suddenly stopped him and pushed hard enough that it caused him to fall on the floor.

The man who saved me couldn't continue what he was going to say by releasing pheromones. The man's entire body was in pain earlier and he was paralyzed while crying loudly

His pheromones are strong and very fragrant, his alpha-ness is infectious.

EVAN POV

"My gosh, I have a headache. The pain is really bad" I moaned while holding my head

"Wait, where am I?"I wonder as I notice that I'm in an unfamiliar room

I immediately grabbed my phone and was surprised to see that it was 9:00 in the morning. I hurriedly got myself ready to go home.

Just as I was about to leave I noticed a sticky note on the side of the bed.

"Don't drink so much if you can't, next time I might not be able to save you"

You thought I needed your help. I can do it myself.

"But it's okay no matter where you are. Every time you are in danger, I will always come to your rescue. I hope we meet again, my mate"

I frowned but smiled slightly when I finished reading what was written. He called me a mate, such a sweet jerk.

Wait, why did he call me mate? I already have a husband and that is Kairus. But I don't love him anyway.

There's probably nothing wrong with me admiring the person who saved my life. He's an alpha, not just an alpha he's a strong one unlike Kairus who is a blind.

If I ever get to know him very well I will definitely leave everything just for him even though breaking up with Kairus is what I would do.
