Whispers of Love

Whispers of Love

Intro of characters and Chapter 1

LIN NYO

Age: 22

Height: 175 cm

A quiet young man who prefers silence over words.

He spends most of his time alone under trees, reading or thinking.

He rarely shows emotions…

but feels everything deeply inside.

Soft appearance, calm eyes, and a distant aura—

like someone who belongs more to nature than to people.

“He doesn’t speak much… but his silence says everything.”

HEIN MIN

Age: 24

Height: 180 cm

A hardworking young man connected to forest life and village work.

Simple, calm, and emotionally reserved.

He struggles to express his feelings…

but when he cares about someone, it’s always sincere.

Strong presence, steady gaze, and quiet warmth—

like the ground that never moves, even in storms.

“He doesn’t say it easily… but he means it deeply.”

Together, their descriptions hint at a slow-burn emotional journey between two people who are very different on the surface, but deeply connected through unspoken feelings.

Whispers of love chapter 1

The forest was quiet in a way that felt alive.

Sunlight slipped through tall trees, breaking into soft golden pieces on the ground. The wind moved gently, brushing against leaves like a whisper no one could fully understand.

Lin Nyo sat beneath a large tree, leaning lightly against its trunk. A book rested in his hands, but his eyes were not fully on the pages. He read slowly, as if time itself didn’t matter here.

He preferred it this way—far from noise, far from people, far from questions he didn’t want to answer.

For Lin Nyo, silence was not emptiness.

It was comfort.

A soft sound broke through the stillness.

Footsteps.

Not fast. Not loud. Just steady.

Lin Nyo paused for a moment but didn’t look up immediately.

Someone was walking through the forest.

A young man appeared between the trees, carrying a woven basket. He bent down occasionally, collecting small herbs and forest plants with careful hands. His movements were calm, practiced, and familiar with the land.

Hein Min.

He didn’t look like someone who was lost.

He looked like someone who belonged here.

As he walked deeper into the forest, his steps slowed.

Something caught his attention.

Under a tree not far away, a young man was sitting alone.

Their eyes met.

Just for a second.

Neither of them smiled. Neither spoke.

But something passed between them—something quiet, unspoken, and unfamiliar.

Hein Min hesitated slightly before looking away.

“…There’s someone living here?” he thought.

Lin Nyo, on the other hand, watched him leave the moment their eyes broke.

“…Who is he?” he wondered silently.

He didn’t know why, but the forest felt a little different after that.

Hein Min continued collecting herbs, but his thoughts kept drifting back to the boy under the tree. There was something about him—something calm, distant, almost lonely.

Before long, he shook the thought away. He had work to do.

Lin Nyo eventually returned to his book, but he read slower than before. His attention wasn’t fully there anymore. Every now and then, his gaze would drift toward the direction Hein Min had walked.

But the forest was already quiet again.

As the sun began to lower, painting the sky in warm orange light, Lin Nyo closed his book. He stayed seated for a moment longer, watching the fading light between the trees.

In the distance, Hein Min was leaving the forest path, his basket slightly fuller now, his steps steady as he headed back toward the village.

Neither of them turned back.

But both of them carried something they couldn’t name.

A feeling that had no words yet.

A silence that didn’t feel empty anymore.

And somewhere between the trees and the fading light something had quietly begun.
