Chapter 4: Hunter

“What rules would you like to add?” I said nonchalantly. James eyes had a certain determination within them that I found amusing and quite adorable. I was surprised he even agreed in the first place so it is fair to have some boundaries. James took a deep breath and said “Rule number one no kissing” I looked at him, flabbergasted “ What how can we sell we are dating without me kissing you?” James thought for a minute and he continued “You can hold my hand, drive me to school, and hugging is well also fine I guess.” I stared at him for a second and thought, yeah he probably has never had a girlfriend. I sighed and said “Okay that works but I want to me able to put my arm around you and we are going on dates” James nodded in agreement. The next day was our first day of being an official couple. That morning I have James a drive to school. Before we went into school I pulled him to a corner and said. “You ready?” James looked at me, determined “Let’s go.” Before we walked James quickly grabbed my hand and leaned in close to my face our bodies touching. Badump. What? What was that? “Let’s get going babe” I nodded and we went into the building. All eyes were on us I could feel everyone staring at us. I wanted to try something out not just for the couple effect but I wanted to see how he would react. I leaned in close as we were walking down the halls to class.“Babe? You look hot today.”

People could hear me say that. Good. It was working then. I looked over to see James face and it was on fire. He was so easy to tease because when I did he would give pretty cute reactions. We stopped infront of the door. This was the moment of thruth. Maria was in there and we would announce to her and the whole class that we were a “couple” I pulled my hand away from his and looked him in the eye and said “ Hey don’t be nervous. If anyone gives you a hard time come talk to me.” He looked at me stunned “ What?” I said he give a little smirk and said “ Wow I didn’t think you would be concerned about me” I looked at him my ears turning a little red and quietly saying “I might be a player but that doesn’t mean I don’t care.” We were both silent until James grabbed my hand again and said “It looks werid since we are just standing infront of the door let’s actually go in” I chuckled and said “Let’s.” We stepped inside the whole class was silent and the teacher wasn’t there yet. Mike one of my friends came over and said “ Hey dude” I smiled and said “ Hey.” He looked at James. Right they don’t know each other. “Mike this is James my boyfriend” he looked at me confused “Your boyfriend?” He looked between me and James for a good 5 minutes and said “ No wonder you guys are holding hands!” Before I could speak James said “We only started dating a couple days ago” “That makes sense” Mike smiled and looked at me “I’m happy for you man” I smiled. Mike was a good guy “Thanks man” I smiled. Me and James walked towards our seats I could see that everyone was whispering about us. I could tell they didn’t believe us. Hmmm. Let’s put on a show I smirked. James was infront of me so before we reached our seats I perpelled my hand back and then back forward, slapping his butt with force. He let out a yelp which I found funny. He turned around glaring but didn’t say anything. “Your ass was looking fine.” I gave him my sexy smile. He turned tomato red. I couldn’t tell if it was because he was angry or embarrassed. He put on a fake smile and said “Thanks.” No flirty comeback just thanks. I needed more to work with than that. I looked at Maria, she looked stunned. I smiled and thought things are going as planned.
