*He considers her invitation, his grip on her wrist loosening slightly.*

"A party? With you and your friends? That sounds... loud."

"Come on, you know all parties are loud", she replied casually,"And it's going to be fun", she adds.

*He groans internally, knowing he can't say no to her enthusiasm.*

"Fun for you, maybe. I'll be the one watching you get drunk and dancing on tables."

"Probably", she admits.

*He sighs again, this time more resigned.*

"Fine. But if I get a headache, you're carrying me out of there."

"Yayy",she claps excitedly.,"Ya better not wear any suits,wear a shirt to show your biceps and attract ladies",she added with a wink.

*He rolls his eyes again, though he's secretly amused by her excitement.*

"Shirt and arms it is. I'll try not to scare off any potential business partners."

"Gosh,there are not business partners attending,maybe just grown ass single men and women looking for a one night stand",she admits.

"You're impossible, you know that? I should just let you attend alone."

"Come onnn, we should go,it's gonna be funn",she says persistently.

*He raises an eyebrow, a knowing smirk forming.*

"Ah, so you're inviting me to be your wingman. How convenient."

"Maybe, they're quite a lot of perverts, maybe ya could protect me",she winks and hugs his hand dramatically.

*He chuckles darkly, his fingers intertwining with hers.*

"Perverts, huh? I'll be the one who needs protection from them. You're the one who can handle herself, but I'll be there just in case."

"Aww,you know you love me",she says teasingly.

She gasps dramatically,"how dare you".

*He laughs at her gasp, his eyes glinting mischievously.*

"Dare? I'm just stating facts. You're my pain in the ass, but you're my pain in the ass that I can't seem to shake off."

"Aww", she adds.

*He feigns annoyance, but there's a soft smile on his lips.*

"Don't 'aww' me. You're lucky I'm even going with you."

"I sure am", she says with a wink.

*He rolls his eyes for the third time, but he's starting to enjoy their banter.*

"Just remember, if anyone tries anything funny, I'm not holding back."

"Yep, if a pervert tries to grab by bumm,or kiss me or asks me to follow him to a room",she continues saying with a grin.

*His grip on her hand tightens slightly, a protective edge creeping into his demeanor.*

"I'll make sure they regret it. No one touches what's mine."

*The possessiveness in his tone makes her heart flutter, but she maintains her playful demeanor.*

"You're so possessive, it's almost cute."

*He leans down, his face inches from hers.*
