Dream Come True

Dream Come True

Episode 1 : “The Girl Who Learned to Stay Silent”

There was a time when Elaina used to talk a lot.

She would laugh loudly, share her dreams without hesitation, and believe people when they said, “I’ll always be there.” Back then, the world felt simple. People felt safe. Love felt easy.

But that was before everything changed.

It didn’t happen all at once. Pain never does. It comes slowly, quietly, like cracks forming in glass—almost invisible at first, until one day everything shatters.

The first time Elaina was hurt, she told herself it was just bad luck. “People make mistakes,” she thought. So Elaina forgave. Elaina always forgave.

The second time, it hurt a little more. The words cut deeper, the silence lasted longer. Still, Elaina stayed. Still, she believed things would get better.

By the third time, something inside her began to shift.

Elaina stopped sharing as much. Her laughter grew softer, less frequent. She started thinking before speaking, measuring her words carefully, as if every sentence had the power to break something again.

And slowly, without even realizing it, she began to change.

The girl who once trusted easily started building walls. Not tall, obvious ones—but quiet, invisible ones. The kind that keep people out without them even noticing. Elaina learned to smile even when she felt nothing. Learned to say “I’m fine” when she wasn’t. Learned that sometimes, silence was easier than explaining pain no one seemed to understand.

Her friends noticed the change, but no one really asked why.

Or maybe they did—but not deeply enough.

Because the truth was, she didn’t know how to explain it anymore.

How do you tell someone that you’re tired of being strong?

That you’re exhausted from pretending things don’t hurt?

That you’re scared to trust again, because every time you did, it left you a little more broken?

So Elaina kept it all inside.

Days turned into months. Months turned into years. And with time, her heart grew quieter. Not empty—but careful.

Very careful.

Elaina still believed in love… but from a distance.

Like watching the rain from behind a window—beautiful, but not something she wanted to step into again.

At night, when the world was silent, her thoughts grew louder.

She would wonder what it felt like to be understood without explaining, to be loved without fear, to be seen—not just looked at.

But those thoughts never stayed for long.

Because hope, for her, had become something fragile.

Something dangerous.

And so, every morning, she woke up, wore her calm expression like armor, and stepped into the world as if nothing inside her was breaking.

No one knew how much she had lost.

No one knew how much she still carried.

And maybe that was the hardest part—

Being surrounded by people, yet feeling completely alone.

But deep inside, in a place she barely allowed herself to visit anymore, a small part of her still whispered…

“Maybe one day, someone will stay.”

And that quiet hope, no matter how faint, refused to disappear.
