Episode 3: The Backstory of Zzok (path 1)

Zzok Backstory: Zzok’s life began in the shadow of tragedy. From the moment he was born, he only knew the warmth of his mother; his father had been killed in a horrific car accident before Zzok could even take his first breath.

His mother was a brilliant but overworked scientist. One fateful night, while she was working late in the lab, she held the infant Zzok in her arms. Exhaustion took its toll. As she leaned over a massive vat of experimental chemicals, her grip slipped. Time seemed to freeze as Zzok fell from her arms, disappearing into the swirling, glowing liquid of the chemical drum."

When the scientists finally pulled Zzok out of the chemical drum, they stood back in absolute shock. The infant was not hurt. He hadn't died, and his skin didn't have a single burn or mark from the toxic liquid. Instead, he looked stronger—as if the chemicals had become a part of him. He wasn't crying; he was just staring at them with cold, 'Black' eyes that didn't belong to a human child.

By the time Zzok was in Class 4, his life was already a series of impossible events. One afternoon, as he was leaving school, a drunk driver lost control of his car and slammed directly into him.

The impact was violent. The car’s windshield shattered into a thousand pieces, and the force of the metal hitting the pavement screamed through the air. A crowd gathered instantly, their eyes locked on the wreckage of the car and the injured driver. But they didn't see Zzok. He had been thrown into a nearby pool of muddy water, completely unhurt

School Friend: 'Hey Zzok! Why did you jump in that dirty water? Your school uniform is ruined!'

Zzok (Dazed): 'I... I don't know. I felt something push me. I really don't know what happened.'

School Friend: 'Whoa, maybe it was a ghost! Forget it, let’s just go to your house and play video games.'

Zzok: '...Yeah.Let's go.'"

The glow of the television illuminated Zzok’s face as his fingers flew across the controller. He was seconds away from defeating the final boss. In the kitchen, the rhythmic sound of his mother washing the dinner plates provided a peaceful backdrop to their afternoon of gaming.

Suddenly, a heavy, rhythmic thundering echoed through the house. KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK

Zzok: 'Hey, go grab the door! I can't pause now—I’m right at the boss level!'

His friend stood up, his heart beginning to race for no reason. When he reached the door, he heard the muffled, metallic clinking of gear and the low, serious murmurs of several men. Confused, he pulled the door open, only to find the hallway filled with blue and red flickering lights and officers in full uniform

Zzok's Friend (Pale with fear): 'Zzok... did you steal someone’s lunch money? Why are the police here?'

Zzok didn't look up; his eyes were locked on the screen, his 'Black' instincts not yet fully awake to the danger.

Zzok: 'No. Why? Who is it?'

Zzok's Friend (Thinking): 'Oh no... if he’s in trouble, am I in trouble too? Please, God, I haven't done anything wrong! I just wanted to play games

Zzok threw his controller onto the sofa, a triumphant grin on his face. "Boss defeated! Perfect timing. That must be the pizza delivery. I’m starving!"

He practically sprinted to the door, swinging it open with a shout. "Alright, Pizza Mannnnnnnnnn

The words died in his throat. Standing on the porch weren't hot boxes of pizza, but three officers in dark tactical gear, their faces grim and unmoving. The lead officer stepped forward, his shadow falling over Zzok.

Police Officer: "There is no pizza man here, son. We need you to step aside and get your mother. We have some urgent matters to discuss."

Zzok felt a cold shiver—not from fear, but from the 'Black' chemistry in his blood reacting to the threat. He leaned back toward his friend, whispering urgently.

Zzok: "Hey... why are the police here for real? This isn't a joke."

Zzok’s Friend (Trembling): "I told you! You must have done something! We spent all afternoon fighting a boss on the screen, but how do we fight in real life? We don't have weapons, Zzok. This isn't GTA 6. In the game, we can just hit 'Save' or 'Load' if we mess up. In real life, there is no save button. If we lose here... it’s Game Over forever

Just as the tension reached its peak, a bike pulled up behind the patrol cars. "Pizza delivery for Zzok!" the man shouted, holding up the boxes.

The lead officer sighed, his serious face cracking into a small smile. He reached into his pocket. "Give me the boxes, son. I'll pay for them. Zzok, go get your mother—she needs to see this."

Suddenly, bright lights flooded the yard. A news van had arrived, and a reporter jumped out, a microphone already in hand. "We are live! We’ve seen the CCTV footage of the miraculous survival. The boy who walked away from a total wreck!"

The reporter shoved the mic toward Zzok's friend.

Zzok’s Friend (Confused): "Why are you putting the mic in my face? The 'Miracle Boy' is standing right there!"

The reporter swiveled toward Zzok. Meanwhile, the lead officer grabbed two slices of pizza and handed them to the boys.

Police Officer: "You handle the press, kid. I need to talk to your mom inside. Force, move in—let's secure the house from the crowd while we eat!"

The police began eating the pizza while guarding the door, something Zzok and his friend had never seen a cop do in real life.

News Reporter: "Zzok, the world wants to know... how did you survive that impact? How did you walk away from that car?"

Zzok didn't answer immediately. He looked at the crowd, then at the blinking red light on the camera.

Zzok: "Wait an hour. I’ll tell you then."

The reporter froze, shocked by the boy's calm attitude. His friend leaned in, whispering excitedly.

Friend: "Zzok! We’re going to be famous! People are going to make edits of us on social media!"

Zzok (Dryly): "Oh, really? I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to watch those edits... when we're talking to each other in prison."

An hour passed, and the crowd grew even larger. The reporter stepped forward again. "The hour is up, Zzok. Tell us the secret."

Zzok: "Before I answer, I have a question for all of you. If a tiger runs at full speed to catch a deer, who is the real winner?"

The Crowd: "The tiger, obviously!"

Zzok (Smirking): "No, fools. It’s the Cameraman. The tiger is fast, sure, but how do you think we see the tiger? The cameraman has to run at the speed of light to keep the tiger in the frame. He is the strongest one there."

Zzok pointed directly at the Police Cameraman filming the scene. The cameraman felt a tear in his eye.

Police Cameraman (Emotional): "Finally... a child who respects the hustle! 🥹"

While everyone was distracted by the cameraman, Zzok began to slowly back away, trying to find a way out of the spotlight.

While everyone was distracted by the cameraman, Zzok began to slowly back away, trying to find a way out of the spotlight.

Zzok and his friend almost made it to the edge of the crowd, but a second officer stepped into their path like a stone wall.

Police Officer 2: "And where do you think you’re going, geniuses?" He didn't wait for an answer. He turned to his radio. "Sir, the two kids are trying to slip away. Orders?"

From inside the house, the lead officer’s voice came back cold and firm. "Hold them. No more games. Zzok’s mother isn't being cooperative... we’re taking them in."

Without another word, the atmosphere changed. The "Pizza Party" was over. The officers grabbed the boys, and for the first time, Zzok felt the cold bite of steel against his skin. They handcuffed their hands and feet, lifting them like cargo and dropping them into the front seats of the police cruiser.

The heavy door slammed shut with a metallic thud, and the electronic locks engaged.

Police Officer 2 (Looking through the glass): "Don't look so scared, kids. There are some snacks on the dashboard. Just stay quiet while we finish with your mom."

Zzok’s Friend (Panicking): "I can't go to prison, Zzok! My life is over! I haven't even finished middle school!"

Zzok (Calm): "Stop shaking. Eat my snacks and breathe. I’m going to get us out of this. Look... the officer was in such a hurry to get inside that he left the keys in the ignition. It’s GTA 6 time for real."

Zzok shifted his body, trying to find leverage. His hands were locked behind his back, but his mind was racing.

Zzok: "I’ll handle the pedals with my feet, but I can't reach the ignition. Hey! Stop eating like a hungry snake and listen to me! Reach over with your teeth or your chin—whatever you have to do—and turn that key!"

The engine roared, a mechanical scream that silenced the crowd. Zzok’s eyes were cold, locked on the only gap in the sea of people.

Zzok: "Now! Hit the gear! I’ll handle the steering!"

His friend, hands trembling but his heart racing with adrenaline, slammed the gear shifter into 'Drive.' Zzok leaned his weight against the wheel, his 'Black' instincts guiding the tires with impossible precision.

The tires screeched, sending a cloud of white smoke into the air. The reporters and bystanders scrambled back in terror as the heavy metal beast surged forward. With a violent jerk, the car broke through the circle, flying out of the crowd and onto the open road.

They weren't just kids in a Class 4 classroom anymore. They were fugitives on the run.

The adrenaline finally began to fade, replaced by a crushing weight of exhaustion. The dashboard clock flickered in the dark—it was deep into the night.

Zzok: "We can't go any further. We’re both too tired. I need to find a place to hide this car so we can sleep."

He looked over at his friend, whose eyes were heavy with sleep.

Zzok: "Hey... check the GPS. Find us a path into the Silent Forest. We need to disappear."

With the last of their strength, they guided the car deep into the shadows of the thick trees, far from the reach of the highway lights. Zzok killed the engine, and the silence of the woods wrapped around them like a cold blanket.

Zzok: "Finally... we're safe for now. Just sleep, friend. We'll deal with the 'Game Over' tomorrow."

As their breathing slowed, the moonlight touched the "Black" glint of the handcuffs. The boy who defied death was finally at rest.
