"So, can you take over on this case ? REN !" Akira screamed right infront of Ren's face his voice echoes around the silence in the police station ...

Everyone was just watching no one dares to even step into and do anything ! meanwhile MR. STEVEN standing in the back there with a calm expression. he was more curious about REN's answer to this question than the current situation itself !

Ren was like paralyzed, his words like stuck in his throat ! His heartbeat was so fast he can even hear it clearly into this dead silence ... He can't even look up at Akira's face. His breath was rough and he was continuously trying to find words to answer with.

"what happened huh ? where's your so called motivation went ? Huh ?" Akira screamed loudly again his voice echoes around the police station, the constant sound of fan spinning making the situation more dull and eerie, no one is talking or even doing anything just pure, dead silence !

"Talking is easy but actually doing it is difficult ! much more difficult than you can ever imagine !" Akira keeps yelling at REN.

"If you can't even talk to your opponent while looking in his eyes, don't ever say a damn word with your useless mouth"

"Infact, You're unworthy of being a police officer, quit the damn police job already, you useless peace of trash !"

Akira smacked his hand on the glass table in his right and while saying that, the force from his fist was so much the entire glass table shattered into pieces ...

Everyone got startled by it as the sound of shattering glasses falling on the ground echoes.

That single sentence went right through REN's heart ...

'You're unworthy to be a police officer ?' this Sentence keeps echoing in his ear, in his mind, his eyes was wet by the tears which he's keep holding back but this single sentence triggered him too much ... His teeth Clenching tight, His breath started getting faster and faster, his fist getting tighter and tighter until the blood started coming out of it, as he was like trying to hold himself back off ... MR. STEVEN noticed the sudden change of expression on his face and smirked little ...

"And ! what if i ... catch him ?" A slow and steady voice ... Ren said his expression was lot more serious and calm ! as he says while staring at the ground ... He was looking like an complete different person right now, the vibe of his voice completely changed like there's a complete different person standing there now !

Everyone including Akira and MR. STEVEN himself got shocked, he said that with such a fierce and deep voice. The entire environment changed all of a sudden just by this small word REN said ...

Akira turns his face towards REN after hearing his word, Akira's hand was bleeding too because he smash through that glass table way too hard ...

Everyone just watched their mouth open ... Their eyes aren't even blinking they were too involved in the situation infront of them.

As Ren slowly raises his head and looks right at Akira with a very different and strange gaze ... There were some drops of tears in his eyes but the thing that can be seen clearly was rage ... He wasn't scared or feared by Akira because he was the highest rank officer in FBI anymore ... REN was staring at Akira like he was about to jump right on Akira to murder him !

That was the strange and different kind of energy MR. STEVEN sensed from REN earlier and by the looks of it within his eyes EVEN Akira was got startled and his steps trembles a little bit ... Then after staring at him for a little while with disbelief ...

Akira smiled and starts approaching towards REN until he was this close to his face and with a wide and crazy smile ... Akira said.

"I see, that's the real thing behind that innocent face huh !?" Akira complimented and confronted REN again.

But REN's gaze aren't even flenching or moving anymore ... He was staring at Akira right into his eyes with the same anger and rage that Akira have in his eyes towards him ...

"what if I do catch him !" REN repeats the same question like he is just saying infront of Akira and so on everyone that he is actually gonna caught him ... He is confident that he can catch him ...

MR. STEVEN smirked at his words because he knew that people like REN are the next generation that are going against criminal like him and he was pretty sure that as long as there are officer like REN in the police department who can do anything just to defend their pride, there's always a hope of victory.

"If that's what happened I am gonna bow to your feet and cut my neck infront of the entire POLICE DEPARTMENT-" Akira said with a pause between it. his voice was gets even more deep and heavy as Akira's rage and anger started leaking out from his words too.

"But if you failed doing that then I'll be the person who will kill you infront of this very same POLICE DEPARTMENT" And with this Sentence as Akira finishes, the environment in the police station was so intense that not even a slightest sound coming out of Anyone's mouth ... Just by hearing those two makes everyone's trembles in fear !

Everyone who was watching this just stands there with their mouth open ... The fact that a lowest rank officer confronting the highest rank officer face to face ... head to head like absolutely nothing ...

REN just keep staring at Akira ... None of them are willing to back off or it's not a fight for just rank or anything else ... It's the fight for the pride ! The pride everyone holds onto it until they die !

"But Akira ..." An officer from BLACKPANTHER BATCH, the second highest rank officer in FBI name MARLOW ... Also Akira's best friend interrupted and said ...

"He can't take over a case of an world class criminal just yet, he is an officer of LOCAL POLICE UNIT, he didn't even have any rank yet" Marlow said to Akira, it's clear that MARLOW also with Akira's decision but he is more calm and think more deeply than Akira too.

Akira looks at Marlow and then with a smile he said ...

"that's not a problem, I'll give you the promotion ... You'll be an A rank officer from now on ..." As Akira said that to REN, who was still standing there still staring at Akira and looking like he was still in so much rage !

Everyone who was watching this freaked out at it ... an Local police unit officer getting an promotion straight to an A rank officer which takes years to get, nobody expect it to turns out something like this ...

"Whaaat !"

"This is unreal !"

"Is this even possible !" Everyone talking to eachother and freaking out ... Nobody even think anything like this could happen !

"I hope you're so happy for your promotion ! But Someone like you cannot even survive a single day against him" Akira said while smiling at REN trying to shatter his confidence and pride with his but ...

"And people like you cannot shut your mouth up for even a single second !" REN said with an serious tone, insulting Akira right on his face ... he insults Akira so bad in front of everyone ...

Akira got even more furious at REN's word as he was about to throw another punch at him but MARLOW stopped him once again ... Akira clenches his fists and said this last thing REN on his face ...

"Then, Let's meet in the hell soon" As he walks away from there, bumping his shoulder to REN's Shoulder as a mock and while wearing his coat ... Akira and his whole batch leaves the office ...

As crowd started spiltting in two, making a way betweem them so Akira and his team can pass, everyone was scared just by seeing Akira and his entire team together ... There was so many things going on, everyone was completely speechless !

After few moments, Everyone started going back to there work as well ... But the atmosphere was completely changed by that fight between REN and Akira ...

while REN was just standing there completely blank minded with nothing but ton of questions and rage in his mind then suddenly ... He puts his hand on the necklace he was wearing and closes his eyes ... Suddenly ...

"REN !" A voice came from behind and like it suddenly wake him up from his thoughts as he looks back and saw MR. STEVEN standing there ... Calling him !

"Come here !" MR. STEVEN tells REN to come closer to him meanwhile REN was so shocked and also so happy that his childhood hero MR. STEVEN is standing right infront of him and that's not it ... He actually called REN's name ...

The rage and anger in REN's eyes was started vanishing like by little as he went towards MR. STEVEN and stands infront of him with an respected position ...

"Sir !" REN said with an respected voice while standing infront of MR. STEVEN with gratitude.

"Do you really think you can catch that criminal ?" MR. STEVEN asked.

"Uh ... I ... I don't know ! But i will never know until i try !" REN firstly hesitated but then said with a little tremble in his voice which he was trying hide as much as he can ...

"Sir, please forgive him ... He is just so stupid and do stuff like this all the time ... I am saying sorry for him" David the captain of the LOCAL POLICE UNIT said to MR. STEVEN.

"shut up !"MR. STEVEN said to him and looks back at REN, David got shocked that MR. STEVEN was genuinely serious about REN ... Even he shuts him up just to continue to talk with Ren !

"You're the future of the FBI, kid !" MR. STEVEN says to REN as he takes out an paper and sign on it which has a stamp of CENTRAL POLICE DEPT. on it And hands it over to REN.

Ren didn't understand what's is this thing about ...

"sir ?! what is this !" REN asked curiously as he takes that paper from MR. STEVEN's hand ...

"Your promotion order, bring this with you Tommorow in the CENTRAL POLICE DEPARTMENT, and fill this form before submitting ... Congratulations on your promotion ..."

"your life is about to change kid !" As he smirked at REN again while handing him over that promotion order, as he puts his hand on his shoulder like a little praise ...

"Sir are you really taking this stupid's talk seriously ?" David said ...

"I told you to shut up ! Go and prepare for the transportation !" MR. STEVEN yells back at David with an serious tone ... And orders him ...

And while holding that promotion order in his hand like a trophy or something REN walks out of the office, his heartbeat was so fast ... He was so excited and shocked at the same time.

while he was walking through the police station with that promotion order happily, he looks around himself and saw everyone looking at him with a very strange gaze but the shocking part it's not an jealousy gaze ... It's not like they're jealous it's something else !

REN suddenly stopped and starts looking around him and saw everyone was staring at him with same strange gaze ... before he even starts thinking anything about it ... Someone calls his name out from behind ...

"REN !" Ren looks back and saw his friend MARCUS running towards him ...

"Hey, marcus look at this-"he was a about show Marcus that promotion order but Before he even say anything his friend starts yelling at him ...

"what you just did huh ?" Marcus's voice was so loud and filled with worry ... Ren's happiness vanished within a second ...

"what do you mean ?" Ren said with an curious yet sad voice ...

"Do you even have have any idea what they're putting you into huh ?"

"You're an idiot ! You're gonna die by doing this ..." Suddenly another officer suddenly pulls Marcus back and ... Said.

"Don't talk to him Marcus, it's too late !" That officer with an very strange tone said to Marcus, Marcus looks at REN once more with an worried gaze but then he stopped saying anything either and walks away with that officer from REN like they're avoiding REN and so on everyone !

Ren tried to talk to him again but Marcus didn't stop and went away from him ...

Ren didn't even understand what was that about ! Everyone's strange behaviour, is it because he confronted an SSS Rank officer Akira or he got that big promotion straight to be an A rank officer ... He frowns a Little bit and then decided to go back his home ... After what happened tonight and what's happening to him right now was too much for him to handle ...

As walks out of the police station he saw the sky filled with stars ... He stares at the stars for a moment then he continue walking ...

while walking back to his home REN keep looking at that promotion order ... it was empty which REN supposed to fill and submit in the CENTRAL POLICE DEPARTMENT ... But his happiness by seeing that promotion order was not like it was before ... There's a sadness and a confusion of what's going on around him ! On his face ...
