CHAPTER 5: What!?

*Lucian slowly opened his eyes, he was awaken by the sunlight streaming through the room....

The room was unfamiliar but something about it makes him feel like he has been here*

"Ow, my head hurts"

*Lucian wince, he touch his forehead and felt fabric around his forehead*

"Huh? Why do I have bandage on my forehead..."

*Lucian said, sitting up and he wince again*

"Just lay down, your severely injured..."

*A familiar voice rang out*

*Lucian looked around to see Vesper leaning at the door frame of the room*

"Oh, it's you...What the fuck happened? Ah, my back-"

*Lucian wince again as he touched a bandage on his back.....Vesper talked to and sit down on a chair that was beside the bed....*

"I told you have injuries, it probably from the shattered glass and others things since they were dragging you from the Demon Realm to the kingdom of Aethelgard...You were locked up in a cage bruise with other demons you were the only one who is unconscious...."

*Vesper said, Lucian was looking at his arm that is fully bandage*

"And oh, you here in Xylona"

*Vesper added, Lucian slowly looked up at Vesper

with a stare that means 'are you kidding me?'*

"No, I'm not...If you don't believe me look outside...Your mom asked for you to stay here while trying to find who's the master mind of this whole......Oh, and your mom said when you recover, you must do what the god of fire said..."

*Vesper said while cutting apples, Lucian rolled his eyes*

"Here, eat this...Later we're changing your bandages"

*Vesper said, giving Lucian a bowl of apple...

Lucian looked at him like he seen a ghost*

"What the heck happened to you? Why are you suddenly being kind?"

*Lucian said, not believing that this is the real Vesper.....Vesper rolled his eyes, then he stand up and left the room*

"What the heck is up with him? It's that really him?"

*Lucian said, while grabbing a slice of apple from the bowl and taking a bite out of it*

*Meanwhile Vesper outside the door of the room finding a rolled up piece of paper that he notice

Just now.....Vesper unrolled the paper and read it*

*The letter:

"You're interrupting a ritual, Vesper....You don't want to be a part of it if I were you....So leave us alone and hand over Lucian, he not gonna get hurt again.....I promise.....But if you don't, just remember...I warned you...Vesper...."

Tomorrow, midnight at the entrance to the demon realm..."*

*Vesper looked at the letter, and rolled it....He went to where his mother who was at the living room....And he tossed the letter on the table*

"Someone is threatening something will happen to me if Lucian isn't hand over them tomorrow at midnight"

*Vesper said, his mother Luna was drinking tea when he showed up....Luna set down the cup of tea she was drinking, took and unrolled the letter

and read it*

"Hmm....I will call Lucian's mother to plan what to do..."

*Luna said*

" You can't, they're watching us...."
