Good side~ Episode 3

" Well then, the deal is made. " she said to my mother, she then looks at me again " Welcome to family Ara"

" Ara say thank you to Mrs Han!" My mother said frustrated

" Thank you " I replied. Still confused I looked at Mrs Han to try and comprehend everything. Family, children, mother father, love .....Marriage? Sh**! Of course mother sold me off like that, she doesn't care about me, she never has. Father probably doesn't care either, what was I expecting? A warm welcome? The one time I let my guard down! This is going to ruin all my plans, a marriage takes up too much time, I won't be able to scheme against my brother.

My face lit up.

Or maybe I can scheme... An engaged woman would be under less suspicion and the Han family is very rich, I could use this marriage to my advantage. I just need to think...

" Ara!!" Mother screamed into my face " You keep dosing off! What if Mrs Han thought you were being impolite! Do you know how important this deal is?!"

" Sorry mother" I said with my head down

" You'll have to make it up to her, go visit her at lunch tomorrow. You're moving into the Han house also, so don't come back to the Kang Mansion after today" Mother said crossing her arms. She stomped away and talked to someone else. I knew that rich families were messed up, I was prepared, all I have to do is get on this her son's good side. It can't be that hard?

1:00 pm - Han Mansion

The day was super sunny, a supposedly perfect day for a lunch. The servants had ironed out my pink floral dress and did my hair in an innocent braid crown. I really hate putting my hair up cutely, but if I'm gonna get on anyone's good side I have to play that role. A couple of other women sat around a marble tea table in the middle of a deluxe rose garden, all wearing designer clothes and pretty hats. Their perfume combined could be smelled from 5 miles away, and their hoity toity attitudes could be seen from space. Mrs Han sat on a different coloured chair wearing a bright red maxi dress from Chantelle with Chantelle's logo slapped across the front. Her eyes peered up from her tea cup and looked at me.

" Ara, you aren't needed currently, my son is currently in the house office, you should go greet him as his fiancé. " The entire group of women went silent as Mrs Han said those words. Their same overly used makeup eyes stared right at me as I bowed at them and walked towards the inside of the Mansion. The Han mansion, which was at least 4 times bigger than the Kang's was decorated with golden chandeliers and lines of awaiting servants wearing matching uniforms. The tension in the room was felt whilst I walked past the servants, I could see some of them even sweating as I made my way towards the house office. I knocked on the door of the house office. No response. Not even a "Come on in"? I then just let myself in hoping that he wouldn't mind. As soon as I opened the door a pair of deadly dark blue eyes stared right at me. Mr Hans figure tensed up and his face became irritated. All I could do was smile.

" Hello Mr Han, I'm your fiancé, Kang Ara"
