Episode Five
The Last Stand of Indriya
The Kingdom of Indriya was dying.
The crystal towers that once touched the heavens now lay shattered across the land. Sacred temples burned beneath black flames. Rivers glowed red with the reflection of fire while dark clouds swallowed the stars above Delta Planet.
The paradise King Viraat had spent decades building was falling apart before his eyes.
Yet despite the destruction, the warriors of Indriya refused to surrender.
Because their king still lived.
Because their prince still stood.
And because hope still breathed.
At the heart of the kingdom, thousands of soldiers formed a massive defensive circle around the Crystal Palace. Their armor was broken. Their bodies were wounded. Many could barely stand.
But none of them moved.
None of them retreated.
Before them stood the Black King.
Arthurel.
The destroyer of kingdoms.
The ruler feared across countless worlds.
His black armor was stained with blood and ash. Dark energy twisted around him like living shadows. Behind him stretched an endless army of Void Soldiers—warriors corrupted by the power of Shunya.
Their crimson eyes glowed through the darkness.
Waiting.
Watching.
Ready to kill.
THUD.
THUD.
THUD.
Each step Arthurel took felt heavier than thunder.
The battlefield itself seemed afraid of him.
Prince Aryamaan stood atop the palace stairs beside King Viraat.
For the first time in his life, Aryamaan understood the true cost of leadership.
These people were not fighting for victory.
They were fighting for him.
And many of them would die before sunrise.
A painful knot formed in his chest.
He wanted to help.
He wanted to fight.
But King Viraat had ordered him to stay back.
"The future depends on you," his father had said.
Yet standing there while others died felt unbearable.
Suddenly a warrior stepped forward from the crowd.
General Agnivar.
The Commander of Indriya.
His armor was cracked.
His body covered in wounds.
Blood dripped from his fingertips.
Yet the fire in his eyes remained unbroken.
He slowly turned toward Aryamaan and smiled.
"My prince," he said, "remember this day."
Aryamaan looked at him silently.
"A kingdom is not built by kings alone. It is built by those willing to protect it."
Then Agnivar faced Arthurel once again.
The battlefield grew silent.
Every soldier knew what was about to happen.
The general raised his sword toward the heavens.
Golden flames erupted around his body.
At first they were small.
Then they grew.
And grew.
Until they covered the entire battlefield.
The air itself ignited.
Even the stars seemed dim beside his radiance.
The Soul Flame.
The forbidden power of the Fire Core.
A technique that burned the user's own life force.
Once activated, there was no return.
Agnivar's life would end tonight.
But he had already accepted that fate.
"For Indriya!"
His voice thundered across the kingdom.
The warriors roared in response.
"For Indriya!"
"For the King!"
"For Aryamaan!"
The battlefield erupted.
Thousands charged forward.
Agnivar led them.
Golden fire exploded from his sword as he rushed toward Arthurel.
The Black King smiled.
At last.
A worthy challenge.
Their weapons collided.
BOOOOOOM!
The impact shook the kingdom.
A shockwave tore across the battlefield.
Crystal buildings collapsed.
Mountains cracked.
Entire sections of earth rose into the sky.
Again they attacked.
Again they clashed.
Fire against darkness.
Light against shadow.
Hope against despair.
Every strike echoed like thunder.
Every collision lit the heavens.
The soldiers watched in awe.
Neither warrior looked human anymore.
They appeared like gods locked in a battle older than creation itself.
Then Agnivar unleashed his final technique.
A giant phoenix erupted from his body.
The legendary spirit of the Fire Core.
Its wings stretched across the horizon.
Its flames illuminated the entire kingdom.
The soldiers cheered.
Tears filled their eyes.
This was the power of their commander.
This was the protector of Indriya.
The phoenix screamed and descended upon Arthurel.
The heavens exploded.
A sea of golden fire consumed everything.
For a brief moment...
Nobody could see the Black King.
Hope returned.
Maybe he was gone.
Maybe they had won.
Then the flames split apart.
Darkness emerged from within.
Arthurel stepped forward completely unharmed.
Silence covered the battlefield.
Agnivar stared in disbelief.
Arthurel's eyes glowed crimson.
"You fought well," he said.
Then he swung his sword.
SLASH!
The golden phoenix shattered.
Agnivar froze.
His broken blade slipped from his fingers.
For a moment he remained standing.
Then he smiled.
Not in defeat.
But in peace.
He had protected his kingdom until the very end.
Slowly, General Agnivar collapsed.
The greatest warrior of Indriya was gone.
Aryamaan felt tears filling his eyes.
Yet the battle continued.
Because heroes still remained.
Lady Vaishnavi stepped forward.
The Mistress of the Water Core.
Her robes were torn.
Her body trembled from exhaustion.
But her spirit remained unbroken.
Streams of blue energy surrounded her.
The rivers of Indriya answered her call.
Massive waves rose into the sky.
Water dragons formed once more.
Not to win.
But to buy time.
Time for civilians to escape.
Time for children to survive.
Time for Aryamaan.
The dragons attacked the Void army.
Hundreds of corrupted soldiers were swept away.
Entire battalions disappeared beneath the flood.
Vaishnavi smiled weakly.
Then a dark spear pierced her chest.
Her body froze.
The water dragons vanished.
She looked toward Aryamaan one final time.
"Live..."
Then she fell.
Another guardian lost.
Another sacrifice made.
Master Rudraka roared with grief.
The Guardian of the Earth Core slammed both fists into the ground.
Crystal walls erupted around the palace.
Towering barriers surrounded King Viraat and Aryamaan.
Again and again he raised new defenses as the old ones shattered.
Every barrier cost him energy.
Every attack weakened him.
Yet he never stopped.
The Void army crashed against the walls like a black ocean.
Still Rudraka stood.
Still he fought.
Still he protected.
Until finally Arthurel reached him.
The Black King raised his sword.
One strike.
The crystal walls exploded.
A second strike.
Rudraka fell to one knee.
A third strike.
The great guardian collapsed.
His final act had been to protect his prince.
Around the battlefield countless warriors continued fighting.
Archers fired until their arrows ran out.
Healers used their own life force to save the wounded.
Ordinary citizens picked up weapons and stood beside trained soldiers.
Men and women fought together.
Not because they believed they could win.
But because they believed Aryamaan must survive.
The prince watched everything.
Every sacrifice.
Every death.
Every act of courage.
And something inside him began to change.
The Heart Fragment of Chakra glowed within his chest.
The Last Eye of Indriya burned within his soul.
Power awakened.
Ancient.
Divine.
Terrifying.
King Viraat noticed immediately.
"The time is coming," he whispered.
Then suddenly—
THUD.
THUD.
THUD.
Arthurel climbed the palace stairs.
No warriors remained to stop him.
No champions remained to challenge him.
Only the king and the prince stood before him.
The battlefield fell silent.
The Black King stared at Aryamaan.
For the first time, his expression held neither hatred nor anger.
Only curiosity.
"You still don't understand who you are," Arthurel said.
The sky above Indriya suddenly cracked apart.
A massive black eye appeared among the clouds.
Watching.
Waiting.
Alive.
Every soldier froze.
Every survivor looked upward in terror.
Even Arthurel seemed uneasy.
Then a voice echoed across reality.
Ancient.
Endless.
Older than time itself.
"The seal weakens..."
The stars disappeared.
The universe trembled.
And somewhere beyond existence, beyond life and death, beyond reality itself...
The King of the Void slowly opened his eyes.
Shunya was awakening.
And the age of legends had finally begun.
To Be Continued...
