Ariana Reyes transferred to a new school because of her parents’ decision. Ever since she was young, her parents had always been strict when it came to her studies and future. They wanted everything to be organized, planned, and perfect for her, even if Ariana herself sometimes wanted something different.

Before transferring, Ariana was already studying in a private school where she had close friends and a peaceful life. She was comfortable there. She already knew everyone, knew every hallway, every classroom, and every teacher. It was the kind of place where she felt safe and understood.

But one evening during dinner, her parents suddenly told her they wanted her to transfer to a different school for senior high school.

According to her mother, the new school was more prestigious and had better opportunities for students. Her father agreed, saying the environment there would help Ariana become more disciplined, independent, and focused on her future goals. They believed the new school could prepare her for college and give her a better path in life.

Ariana tried to explain that she was already happy where she was. She didn’t want to leave her friends behind, especially because she struggled with adjusting to new environments. She was never the type of person who could easily make friends. The idea of entering a completely unfamiliar place terrified her.

However, her parents had already made their decision before even asking for her opinion.

They told her it was for her own good.

Even though Ariana understood that her parents only wanted the best for her, she still felt hurt because it seemed like her feelings didn’t matter. She felt like her future had already been decided for her without anyone asking what she truly wanted.

During the days before her transfer, Ariana became quieter than usual. She spent more time alone, thinking about how different her life would become. She worried about whether people in the new school would accept her or if she would just become another invisible student sitting quietly at the back of the classroom.

The night before her first day, Ariana barely slept.

She kept imagining herself getting lost in unfamiliar hallways, sitting alone during lunch breaks, and struggling to fit in with people who already had their own groups and friendships.

That fear was the reason why Ariana looked distant and nervous on her first day at the new school.

She didn’t expect anything good to happen there.

She only planned to survive quietly until graduation.

But everything slowly changed the moment she accidentally met Ethan Villanueva at the classroom door.

Without realizing it, the school she never wanted to enter became the place where she experienced friendship, heartbreak, jealousy, comfort, and first love for the first time.

And although Ariana originally hated her parents’ decision to transfer schools, a part of her eventually realized that if she never transferred, she would have never met the boy who would completely change her life forever.
