Silence.
Then, unexpectedly—
Charm Queen laughed. A soft, melodic sound that made the vines around her bloom.
Hades blinked, startled. He had never heard her laugh before. It was… annoyingly beautiful.

The dog villagers watched them argue like a married couple.

Another villager approached him hesitantly.
> Dog Villager #1: “Um… Lord Hades? Our campfire went out. Could you… maybe… relight it?”
Hades raised a brow.
> Hades: “You want the god of slaughter to light your campfire.”
> Dog Villager #1: “Please?”
> Dog Villager #2: “We brought marshmallows.”
Hades sighed dramatically, then snapped his fingers. A gentle flame — not destructive, not chaotic — flickered to life.
Charm Queen stared.
> Charm Queen: “You can make small flames?”
> Hades: “I can make any flame.”
> Charm Queen: “But you chose a soft one.”
> Hades: “They asked nicely.”
The dog villagers cheered.
> Dog Villager #3: “They’re definitely flirting.”
> Dog Villager #1: “Absolutely.”
Charm Queen’s face flushed. Hades looked away, pretending not to be flustered.
