The Childish CEO

The Childish CEO

Chapter 1 – The Impossible CEO

Book never expected his first day at the company to be a disaster. He had prepared his documents, practiced his introduction, and even arrived an hour early. But the moment he entered the CEO’s office, he froze.

The CEO, Force Teerawat, was sitting on top of his desk spinning in his chair while throwing paper airplanes across the room.

“You’re late,” Force said dramatically, even though Book was early.

Book blinked. “Sir… it’s 8:00 AM exactly.”

“Exactly late.”

From that moment, Book realized his boss was not the cold, strict CEO everyone feared. Instead, Force acted like a spoiled child trapped in an expensive suit.

Still, despite his childish behavior, Force had sharp eyes that seemed to notice everything about Book.

And for some reason, that made Book nervous.

Every morning, Force demanded a different coffee order.

“One sugar today.”

The next day:

“Why does this taste sweet? I said no sugar.”

Book nearly exploded from frustration.

One afternoon, after another argument about coffee, Force suddenly grinned. “You’re cute when you’re angry.”

Book almost dropped the tray.

“I’m not cute.”

“You are,” Force teased.

Book walked away quickly, ignoring the strange warmth in his chest.

But behind him, Force smiled softly for the first time that day.

Book began noticing something strange.

Force acted childish around everyone, but late at night, when the office became quiet, he turned serious and distant.

One evening, Book accidentally saw Force sleeping on the office couch with documents scattered around him.

For the first time, Force looked tired instead of playful.

Book quietly covered him with a blanket.

Half asleep, Force grabbed his wrist gently.

“Don’t leave yet…”

Book’s heart skipped.

---

The company held a formal dinner event.

Book wore a black suit that made everyone stare.

Unfortunately, one of the investors became a little too friendly with him.

Force immediately interrupted.

“He’s my employee,” Force said coldly.

The investor laughed. “Why are you acting jealous?”

Force froze.

Book froze too.

The ride home was silent until Force suddenly muttered:

“I didn’t like him touching you.”

Book stared at the window, trying to hide his red face.

---

A heavy storm trapped them in the office overnight.

The lights flickered while thunder shook the windows.

Force hated thunderstorms, though he tried to hide it.

Book noticed his trembling hands.

Without thinking, Book sat beside him.

“It’s okay,” he whispered.

Force slowly leaned his head onto Book’s shoulder.

“You’re the first person who makes me feel calm,” Force admitted quietly.

The room fell silent except for the rain.

Neither of them moved away.

---

Soon, rumors spread around the company.

“Does the CEO like Book?”

Book tried to ignore them, but the gossip became worse every day.

One afternoon, Force marched into the office cafeteria and declared loudly:

“Stop bothering him.”

Everyone became silent.

Then Force added proudly:

“If anyone has a problem, talk to me.”

Book wanted to disappear from embarrassment.

But secretly, he felt protected.

For once, the childish CEO looked like someone who simply wanted to be loved.
