Prologue-The Sweet Peas

***Yui Pov: ***

I thought" love "was just a myth. A continuous unverified myth that every person has kept on believing ever since. I am not really a fan of falling in love and which makes me a person who has never experienced it. However, I didn't expect that destiny would knock in front of my heart and let me realize how really important love is in our life. Ever since I was a kid, I have been really deprived of feeling it due to family matters and blame God for giving me such circumstances that caused me to experience it at a young age. By that, I met Tian. The person who changed everything, including my various perspectives, when it comes to" love".

It was so good at first, not until

"I have enough, Yui, why can't you be honest for today? Why can't you just say it?" Tian burst out with a tear in his eyes. We are in the middle of the street while the rain is relentlessly flowing in our shirts. I stood there face down and fidgeting about how I should react with all the thoughts he had said to me.

"You need to go home, Tian, you might get sick if we stay here longer." I retaliated by just playing innocent even though I knew that it was really a serious matter between us, but I couldn't just bring myself to say the truth because I know that it shouldn't be expressed this way when my mind is still clouded with a lot of thoughts or

"I am just really scared of admitting the truth"

Ever since I met Tian, all things that I have experienced have eventually had meanings, even those little ones. Starting from just waking up in the morning when I felt that I had a reason to do so, to teach more, because I know that there's someone who is willing to listen, and even just listening to music where they are able to reminisce about our moments together. Through all the things that I have experienced, I therefore realized that

"I am really in love with him" ~ but I am just scared.

" You coward! I wished that I hadn't met you in the first place. I am really disappointed right now. Maybe this will be our last conversation, Mr. Yui! I just hope you'll be happy with your decision". Tian firmly stated all of these words, which really broke my heart, but I knew that this could settle and subside the feelings that I had felt for him.

He turned his back to me and walked across the street. However, he stopped and ran back, which caught me off guard and abruptly kissed my cheek

"Goodbye Mr. Yui, I just want you to know that I really liked you. I am just hoping that you will also fight for me." After telling me these, I found myself in the middle of the street and just letting the rain flow into my shirt.

(Car honks) beep beep

I don't know but after hearing his words, I found myself running ........
