Chapter Four

Light X Dark Ceremony,Reval Academy

Part I

Every warrior fell back afterwards, carrying their dead comrades. The battle field was filled with blood and also the dead light warriors. "Paller, are you okay?", Gin asked. "I'll-I'll be fine", she groaned a bit with her hand on her stomach. "I need a healer right now!!", Gin called out, "Uh-yes my Lord", a male healer hastily rushed and bowed. He looked up. "Huh?", Gin was surprised. "Huh?",the healer was one of Gin's classmates. "You", Gin said. "Uh yes, um we were in the same class", he said. "Yes, Kevrin, right?", Gin questioned. "Uh, yes", Kevrin replied. He was raven haired. "I want you to heal my advisor here", he said. "My Lord, there's no need, I'll be fine", Paller bowed. "You'll be fine when you're healed, Kevrin, get to work", Gin insisted. "Understood", he laid his hand on her stomach and began to heal her. "Niva,....so she became a warrior huh? Hell she's so strong, I'm glad she's okay" "I'll be inside, return at once when you're healed", Gin ordered. "Understood my Lord", Paller said and Gin departed with Kadma on his side. "Uh shit!", a female voice spoke behind Gin as he looked back. He froze. "Uh-", the girl froze too,"Uhh shit!", it was Brinna, one of Vector's companions at the academy "Brinna?!", Gin said. "Ugh, yes its me geez", Brinna said in a bothered way. Brinna had long brown curly hair. "You chose the dark side? I thought you'd go to the light", he said. "Huh?? And do what? Live in peace and harmony? Those are fairytales, my life at home wasn't all roses and butterflies", she said glaring back at him. "Speak in that insolence manner to the King again and I will turn your face inside out", Kadma said with his hand risen as it glew. "Stand down Kadma", Gin ordered. "Uh-apologies my Lord", Kadma said. "I think I have the perfect punishment for her", Gin said with a sinister smile. "Bring her to me" "At once", Kadma grabbed Brinna's wrist as they went. They arrived in the main hall. "Leave us Kadma", Gin ordered and Kadma bowed and left. Gin walked up to his throne with Brinna behind him and she halted at the midst as Gin got to his throne and sat. "Mmmm , a dark phoenix perfectly matching its on color, look up at it in the sky it glows like light, you mistaken it to be on the light but not knowing its hunger for habiting in the dark", Gin said. "What's that? A poem?", Brinna asked. "Yes,...a poem", he said. "Oh, almost forgot you were in the poetry club, but,..what does the phrase mean?", Brinna asked. "The dark phoenix, is you, you match your own color by how you act, the way you bullied me, that dark behavior, it suits you, a lot of people back then always thought you and Vector and the rest of your crew would head to the light side, that's when I said, 'look at it up in the sky it glows like light, you mistaken it to be on the light but not knowing its hunger for habiting in the dark', you really wanted to go to the dark side from the start,....am I wrong?", Gin questioned after elaborating. Brinna gulped and went silent for a moment. "Yeah,...", she sighed, "Your poem, its,..so accurate", she spoke in a low tone afterwards. "Hahaha,you're only realizing it now?", he stood up and started approaching her,"what about those times at the academy ?! what about when you bullied me?", he asked as he closed the gap and she started back stepping. "What about those times you waited at the gate to mess me up with Vector whenever Niva didn't attend school?" "Uh-hey,look listen I-", Brinna kept back stepping until she reached dead end wall. "You what?!", Gin snarled. His aura became heavy and intimidating that Brinna gulped. Gin closed the gap and stood much closer to her, only inches apart between their faces. They were the same height. His dark eyes glaring deeper in her eyes. His pupil had a feint purple color at the midst. "G-Gin-ahh", Gin grasped both of her wrists and pinned them on top of her head with one of his hands. "Gin? Okay, listen alright? I'm sorry, okay I know it doesn't cut it but I really am, I really am disturbed, like mentally, my-my parents, abused me, well I am adopted so,...I guess that's expected,...so I wanted to take it out on people,,....mostly you, because you couldn't fight back,...and that was an atrocious behavior to do and I'm really sorry okay?!", she exclaimed. "Of course you are", he said,"that is why,...you're gonna do everything I tell you to" He placed his hand on her tummy. "Uh-wh-what are you-", Gin stifled her sentence by pushing his leg forcibly between her legs as she squeezed her legs attempting to close them but it was already too late for his leg was already between her legs. "Hmm Gin-" "You know,...", he slid up his hand to her side diaphram ,his thumb below her right breast. "Gin-" "Come to think of it, you're actually pretty,...I guess its your dark behavior that ruins it", he said with a sinister smile. Her face was beet red, her chest rising up and down. "G-Gin, pl-please, don't-", she squeezed harder this time. "Oh??Looks like someone is overworked haha", he stood back and let go of her as she almost fell due to her weakened knees from the glimpse of pleasure. "What are y-Hey!! Why did you stop?!", she yelled. "Well, you told me not to so I stopped", he replied. "No you idiot, I wanted to say 'don't stop!!' then you pulled away without warning!!", she lashed out. "Oh,..well, my bad,...I'm exhausted, need a freaking rest", he said. "Huhhh??? You can't just leave me like this!!", she said. "Like what?" "I-you-you just left me while I was aroused okay? I'm-I'm heated,...up", she lowered her tone at the end of her sentence. "So? Go cool off then", he turned around and started walking away to his throne. "Huhhhh???? Hey!! You can't just......do that to-to people!!", she yelled. "Of course I can,...I'm the King!!", he said. She stormed out with her face still bright. She suddenly bumped into Paller in the hallway. Paller glared at her. Brinna look away. "What are you looking at?", Brinna said lowly and passed by. "Mmmm", Paller looked back at her,....she entered the main hall afterwards. "My Lord", she went in and bowed. There was no responce. She looked up and saw Gin rested his cheek on his fist asleep sitting on his throne. She walked up to him, she stood in front of him looking down on him. She leaned forward and faced him. "He really is asleep", she said to herself. She deliberately lifted her hand and attempting to touch his face as he moaned a bit and bent his neck to the side and she quickly put her hand away. He woke up. "Mmm,...Huh? Paller?", "My Lord, I have come to inform you that all of the dead dark warriors are successfully buried", she said. "Mmm oh, right okay, good um,...", he sighed, "about Brinna" "I bumped into her in the hallway, is everything alright? Did something happen?", Paller asked. "Nothing important,...she and I learnt at the same school", he said. "So something did happen then", Paller said. "Well yes but, it doesn't matter", Gin said."What's her ability?" "Samurai", Paller said. "Whoah, really?" "Precisely, you actually didn't notice, but she really killed a lot of light warriors on her own, the body count, if I estimate its probably like six hundred", she replied. "She killed six hundred foes?!! That's incredible!!", he said. Paller didn't respond. "I'm gonna need you to-where's Allor?", he asked. "I haven't seen him since the last time I saw him", Paller said. "Very well, I need you to bring everyone here including all warriors,...I need to know my actual army", Gin said. "Understood, but before that, the main academy is having a ceremony for the next five months , of Light X Dark, meaning the queen of light and the king of darkness, should go there with three of their people. This occurs every time there is a newly appointed Leader of either side.", Paller said. "Ohh, yeah,...I recall when I was still in school the king of light and darkness came to our school at that very same ceremony, mm I recall the king of light throwing candy all over the streets and kids scattered everywhere picking them....I totally forgot that there was going to occur another ceremony", he said. "Should I hear from Jasmine the Seneschal about the ceremony?", Paller asked. "Please do.....when is this ceremony again!? ", Gin asked. "In 5 months time my Lord" "Very well", he said and Paller walked out. She stood behind the closed doors looking at her hand. "Wh-what was I about to do?", she asked herself,...she clenched her fist and proceeded.

The Light Kingdom

"Gin", Niva said to herself, standing among the warriors in the kingdom. "Niva, the queen summons you", Liam said. Niva tagged along. They arrived at the main hall entrance and saw Cassy and Sydney standing there. "Ohh?? If it isn't Gin's girlfriend", Sydney mocked. "Haha, why the long face? Miss him much? His parents didn't agree for him to participate in either side,...too bad", Cassy said. Niva didn't respond. Liam opened the doors and they went in. They approached the queen's throne with Gwen on it, they all bowed. "The academy is hosting a ceremony,..Light X Dark...in the next five months.you all know what that means right?", Gwen said. "Oh,...I forgot we had to attend", Sydney said. "Yes, which is why, you three will accompany me", she said. "Yeah sure", Cassy said. "I guess I'd drop by my house and see my fam ya know", Sydney said. "Yeah, that'll be great", Cassy said. Niva was still bowing silently. "Niva?", Gwen said. Niva slowly looked up at Gwen. There was a moment of silence between them. "Can't catch your tongue?", Gwen questioned. "Yes?.... Your highness?", Niva "Rejoice, this might be your chance to reunite with your love bird Gin", Gwen said. Niva didn't respond. Cassy and Sydney chuckled.

The Dark Kingdom

Every individual gathered in the main Hall before the king. They all bowed. Except one, a warrior. He seemed stubborn. Gin noticed him as well as his three advisors. "My Lord,...", Allor spoke. "Do what you must", Gin said. "You!! Yes you", Allor spoke aloud."Does your back hurt?". He didn't respond. "Bow down now!! You're in the presence of the King!!", Allor yelled and he stood quiet. "Kadma?", Gin said. "As you wish my Lord", Kadma reached out to the warrior and pulled him by gravity as he flew by and brought before the king. He looked up and saw Gin looking down at him with his intimidating face. "You! Are you disabled? Do you not know when to and when not to bow?", Gin questioned and he remained silent. Gin sighed. "Its okay if you don't wish to bow, you can stand up", he said and the warrior stood up deliberately quite surprised. Gin made him face the crowd. "To those who does not bow to me, I won't scold you, nor lash at you whatsoever", he said with a smile. He removed his leather glove and touched the warrior on his shoulder beside him. The people started to get relieved, just until,...the warrior began to decay. "Huh? What the-what are you-what are you doing to me?! Stop stop!! Please don't, please alright alright, I'll bow I'll bow!!!!", he cried out. "You already made your choice", Gin said and he decayed all over to his feet and became dust afterwards. "But I will kill you!", Gin said and The people panicked, some screamed. Gin sat back down. "Shit, he's completely went off the rails, he's bad news", Brinna said to herself while she was still bowing looking at Gin in fright. "Settle down, people, settle down,...", Gin said and they all went quiet. "You all know that there's a ceremony at Reval Academy I assume, which means I have to be there with three of my companions", Gin said. "Oh,...the Light X Dark,..huh?", one of the people whispered. "Yeah, since the king and the queen are both new, they ought to head there", another one of them replied. "Will it be safe though? I hope nothing bad happens, like a fight or something", another one spoke. "That is why I ought to select my three servants I'll be going with", he said. The people mumured afterwards. "Paller, you'll be one of my three servants" "As you wish my Lord", she bowed beside him. "Kadma, you'll be coming too", he said and Kadma bowed. "And lastly,.....Brinna", he said and Brinna widened her eyes in shock. "Huh?", she spoke. "You'll be with me as well", Gin said. "No no no no, this can't be happening, walk with him? He just turned that warrior into freaking dust for heavens sake!! I shouldn't say anything,...shit!!", She said in her mind and bowed.
